4.1Haveallthewindowsandtopventclosedtopreventdraughts.
Beforestartingona journeybesurethatyourgas,gasolineand
watertanksarefilledupandthe12V booster-batteryhasbeen
loaded.
Assoonasthevehicleisinmotion,makesurebylookingthrough
therear-viewmirrorthattherearwindowisvisible.Itisimportantto
keepbackseatsareainviewparticularlywhentravellingwith
children.

YourvehicleisequippedwithanEberspacherGasoline-heating,
TypeB 2 L.Thisheatingoperatesonfuelfromyourgasolinetank,
thoughindependentlyfromthevehiclemotor.
Itshot-airexhaustislocatedintherearseatbenchpanel.
Theheating-blowermayalsobeusedforindoorair-circulation.
Itisimportantthattheheat-pipe,locatedatthebottomoftheseat
benchpanel,isalwayskeptunobstructed.
Whenoperatingtheheating,usethethermostatasfollows:

Simultaneouslyoperatethepiezo-ignition(C)-knobinrapid
sequencesrepeatedlytilltheflameburns.
Assoonastheburnerignitesandtheflameburns,youwillseethe
flameindicator(D)movefromwhiteintogreenportion.Shouldthe
pointerremaininthegreenportion,holdknob(F)downforanother
15secondswhereafterthethermo-electricignitionfusewill
automaticallykeepthegas-supplyopened.
Whenanewgas-bottlehasbeenconnected,orafterhavingrefueled
thetankthereisalwaysairleftinthegas-conductswhichcanonly
evadethroughthegasdevices.Sincetherefrigeratoronlyhasa
smallgasthrough-putwerecommendtofirstsetthecookerinto
operationwheremostoftheairwillescape.
7.5Waitafewminutesandthencheckiftheflameisstillburning.Should
theflameextinguishunexpectedly,theignitionfusewillimmedia-
telytakeactionandwillautomaticallyshutthegassupply.
7.6Assoonasa sufficientthroughoutcoolinghasbeenreachedyou
maysettheselectedtemperaturebyturningthethermostat-knob
(A)frommax.intothedesiredposition.
7.7Turnoffthegassupplytothedevicewhentherefrigeratorhastobe
putoutofoperation.
7.8Thescrewofthecondensationwaterdrainingpipehastoberelea-
sedaswelltopermitflowoffofthecondensationwater.Subse-
quentlyre-fastenthescrew.
7.9Shouldyouintendwashingyourcarordriveintoawashmobile,first
puttheplastic-cap(whichispartofthevehiclesupply)ontheexte-
rior,coveringoftheflue-vent.
Shouldithappenthat,nevertheless,waterhasflowedintothe
burnerspace,removescrew(F)ofthecondensationwaterdraining
pipeandletthewaterflowintoa bowl.
Toimprovethecoolingefficiencyincaseofhighoutdoortempera-
ture,
a 0.6 Wattfanlocatedbeneaththerefrigeratorunit,willswitch
onautomaticallyassoonasthetemperaturearoundthecondenser
plateswillhavereached60°C (140°F).Thefanwillagainswitchoff,
whenthetemperaturewillhavedroppeddowntoabt.50°C (122°F).
Remark:Thefanisconnectedtothe12Volts-circuitsoastoalso
beefficientat220Voltsandongas-operation.
Atfirstoperationstartorwhentheburnerspaceoftherefrigerator
iscoldtheburner-flamemaygooutaftera shortwhileduetostill

thegas
system,
first
turn
offthemain
shut-offvalve(yellowknob)inthekitchencabinetandassoonas
thisisdone,boththeremainingothervalves,too.

noneofthegasappliancesaretobeusedshutoffthemain
valve
(C).
8.3Pressure
regulator
The
pressureregulatorislocatednearthegastankbehindthe
lockable
lidofthegastank.Shouldyourvehiclehavea gasbottle,
thissameistobefoundinthegas
bottle
compartment.
The
pressureregulatoris
fitted
inthesupplyinstallation.Thisnon-
adjustableregulatorreducesthe
bottle
pressuredowntothewor-
kingpressureoftheappliances.Theseareoperated
within
the
vehicle
ata working-pressureof50mbar.
The
pressureregulatorsareso-placedtoletemanatinggasescape
totheoutsidein

ignition,
holdthegrippressedinforabt.5-7seconds.Shortening
thisspaceoftimemayhaveasa resultthattheflameextinguishes.
Boththeburnersofthecookerareequippedwithanignitionsafety
fuse.
Whenoperatingthegascookerprovideindooraeration(opening
ofroof-vent,windowsandthelike).Theopenhearthsofthecooker
mustnotbeusedasheaters.
Pleaseobservethedirectionsonthestickerattachedtothelidof
thekitchenunit.

thermo-element.A deformedordefectivethermo-elementno
longerpermitstheuseoftheburnerastheflamewillgooutagain
andagaindespiteextendedknobpressing.Insuchcasesthereis

Beforesettingtherefrigeratortoworkpleasecheckifthevoltage
ofthehouseorcampingsiteconnectioncorrespondstothe
voltageindicatedonthepowerlabel(shut-offgassupply).
Puttingintoservice
Setthevoltageselectorswitch(B)on220volts.Turnthethermo-
stat-knob(A)onmaximumpower.
Assoonassufficientcoolinghasbeenattained,youmaysetthe
thermostat-knob(A)tothelefti. e.tothedesiredtemperature.
Shouldyouwishtocompletelyturnofftheunit,setthevoltageselector
switch(B)on0-position.
9.412VoltInstallation
Toalwayshaveyourcamperreadytostart,itisimportanttoperiodi-
callycheckboththestarterandboosterbatteries.Thestarter
batteryisplacedunderneaththepassengersseat.Asidefromthe
vehicle-boundconsumer-units(ligthing,ignitionetc.)pleasebear
inmindthattheinteriorlight,the12Volt-socketofthedash-board,
theradioandthecarlightingwithinthedriversseatsectionare
suppliedwithcurrentoriginatedfromthestarterbattery.
Youwillfindtheboosterbatteryunderneaththedriversseat.
Theboosterbatterysuppliespowerforthefollowing:gasoline-
heater,sinkwaterpump,refrigeratorventandindicator-boardin
thecooker-screen.
The3 r.h.controllampsoftheindicatordeviceareshowingthe
loadinglevelofthebattery.

Thevehicleisequippedwithanautomaticbatterychargerset.By
connectionofthevehicleto220Voltcurrentsupplytheloading
