Anschluss des Subwoofers
Schließen Sie die Ausgänge des Verstärkers am Input des Subwoofers an (L +/- und R +/-).
Schließen Sie die Satelliten-Lautsprecher (z.B. QB 300- oder S 350- ) am Output des Subwoofers
an (L +/- und R +/-).
Über den Drehregler „Output Gain“ können Sie die Lautstärke der Satelliten-Lautsprecher herunter-
regeln (Ausgangssignal wird basslastiger).

Der A 500 passiv ist ein passiver Subwoofer mit integrierter Frequenz-
weiche zum Anschluss von QB 300 und S 350.
Troubleshooting / Fehlerbehebung
Kein Ton:
- prüfen Sie die Anschlüsse der Lautspre-
cher (ggf. sind Kabel lose)
- prüfen Sie die Verkabelung der Laut-
sprecher (ggf. sind Kabel abgeknickt)
- prüfen Sie, ob Verstärker/Tonquelle
eingeschaltet ist und auf entsprechende
Lautstärke eingestellt ist.
Brummen:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Eingang am
Verstärker beschaltet ist.
Sonst handelt es sich um ein Masseprob-
lem durch Erdung/Schirmung von
Tonquelle/Verstärker. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass Ihre Verkabelung den EMV-
Richtlinien entspricht.´
St rgeräusche (Knacken):
Stellen Sie sicher, dass ausschließlich
geschirmte Kabel zum Einsatz kommen.
Überprüfen Sie die Leitungsführung auf
Kabelkreuzungen oder Parallelverlegung
zu 230V-Kabel und beseitigen Sie diese
(Induktionsprobleme).
Vibrationsgeräusche:
Prüfen Sie die Montage und fixieren Sie
den Lautsprecher.

Hinweise zum Lautsprecheranschluss:
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die resultierende Impedanz und die Leistung der angeschlossenen Lautspre-
cher auf den Ausgang des Verstärkers richtig dimensioniert sind.
- Achten Sie beim Anschluss auf die richtige Polarität.
- Schalten Sie vor dem Abbau des Lautsprechers den Verstärker ab.

The A 500 passiv is a passive subwoofer with integrated frequency soft
for connecting the QB 300 and the S 350.
Troubleshooting
No sound
- Check the connections of the speakers
(if cable is loose)
- Check wiring of speakers (if cable is
bent)
- Check that amplifier or audio source is
turned on and set to an appropriate
volume.
Humming
Make sure that the input of the amplifier
is connected.
Otherwise, there is a mass problem by
grounding/shielding of audio source/
amp. Make sure that your 230V wiring
complies with the EMC directives.
Noise (clicking)
Make sure that only shielded cables are
used.
Check the wiring to eliminate cable
crossings or cabling parallel with 230V
cable (induction problems).
Vibration noise
Check the installation and fix the speak-
er.
Connecting the subwoofer
Connect the outputs of the amplifier to the inputs of the subwoofer (L +/- and R +/-).
Connect the satellite speakers (for example QB 300- or S 350- ) to the output of the subwoofer
(L +/- and R +/-).
Use the "Output Gain" control knob to lower the volume of the satellite speakers (the output sig-
nal becomes more bass-heavy).
Notes on speaker connection:
- Make sure that the resulting impedance and power of the connected speakers are properly sized
to the output of the amplifier.
- Pay attention to the correct polarity when connecting.
- Switch off the amplifier before removing the loudspeaker.
