On some Biruni appliances (IDI and no dispenser) the freezer door (user interface
and ice crusher) works in low voltage.
On NO-IDI Biruni appliances and all the ITW and AKO appliances the freezer door
(user interface and ice crusher) works in high voltage.

WHY….. BECAUSE
Freezer probe sensor has to be checked by SERVICE.
"SF" is blinking on display Freezer ? Don't worry, the appliance runs at default set-point.
Refrigerator probe sensor has to be checked by SERVICE."SF

Press OK button to turn OFF the buzzer

Freezer ? Press OK button to turn OFF the alarm.
Communication between Control Board and
Control Panel has to be checked by SERVICE.

Ice-maker function could be OFF. Turn Ice-maker
function ON by pressing the right push-button.
Check the if tap is open and the water is delivered
by pressing water dispenser paddle.
To use the traditional methods to make ICE waiting
Appliance doesn't make ice?

List of typical icons of all electronic versions
Name Icon Function description
Refrigerator / Freezer
temp. Reference the required value of temperature in the compartments.
Light Ice & water dispenser light.
Fast-freezing The compressor runs 24 hours continuously.
Super-cool The Refrigerator compartment runs 6 hours at the
minimum set-point (0°C).
Party mode It is a 30 minutes timer to cool down faster a
bottle of sparkling wine put in the freezer
compartment (anywhere).
Stand by
This function turns off the refrigerator and freezer
compartments. For activate the function, press
the button stand-by for 3 seconds. To reset the
function, carry out the same procedure until the
previously set temperatures are displayed.
Vacation
Fridge compartment stop to run. You can leave
the fridge door closed because every 30 minutes
the compartment is refreshed for 2 minutes to
avoid growing bacteria.
Ice mode It gives you the chance to choose between crushed ice or cubed ice (usually ice is delivered
in cubed mode).
Sixth-Sense
Fridge and/or freezer compartment runs
automatically at colder set-point when the
temperature rising because a door open. In this
way the temperature inside the appliance is
recovered faster.
Antibacterial filter
indicator
This symbol indicates the condition of the
antibacterial filter. When receiving the appliance
the icon will be on by default. When the icon start
flashing, the filter needs to be changed: replace
the cartridge and press the filter-reset.
Water filter indicator This symbol indicates the states of the water filter.
Door open alarm The door alarm symbol light up and acoustic alarm is activated when one or both doors of the
refrigerator and/or freezer have remained open.

Black out alarm
Activates when a prolonged interruption of the
power supply caused an increase in temperature
in the freezer compartment. The freezer display
will flash, showing the maximum temperature
reached in the compartment during the
interruption. At the same time, the acoustic signal
will also activate and the icon alarm light will
flash.
Operation alarm This symbol indicates that there is a problem with the appliance. If this happens, call customer
focus.
Eco mode
When available this function can be used to save
energy. It is important to remember that this
function does not disconnect the appliance from
the power supply.
Child lock This function is used to lock the water and ice
dispenser.

How works........ ? Answer
Freezer - freezer temp. button: Freezer compartment temperature
control button
Stand-by button: This function turns off the refrigerator
and freezer compartments. To active and
disable the stand-by function,
press this button.
Fast freezing (freezer): This function must be activated before
freezing fresh food. For enable this function
press the fast freezing button.
Fast cooling (fridge): This function is used to speed up the
cooling process for fresh food.

Old ITW 7 Segment dispenser – version
How works........ ? Answer
Freezer- Fridge Temperature: Freezer and Fridge compartment temperature
control: to change the internal temperature
press this button.
Water filter: Water filter indicator: at the time of purchase
of the product and after replacement, the filter
symbol in green. The filter symbol can
become red according to product use and the
natural depletion of the filter charge.
The filter must be only be replaced when the
symbol on the display is red.
Alarm button: Push the Alarm button for disable the
acoustic alarm.
Child lock: This function is used to lock the water and
ice dispenser.

Fast freezing (freezer): This function must be activated before
freezing fresh food. For enable this
function press the fast freezing button.
Fast cooling (fridge): This function is used to speed up the cooling
process for fresh food.
On-Off button: Push this button for enable the ice maker
function: ice and water.
Door open alarm: The refrigerator or freezer door symbol (or
both) blinks and the acoustic alarm sound
when the door are left open for more than 2
minutes. If the door is not closed, the
acoustic alarm will sound again after 2
minutes.

Freezer Temperature button: Freezer compartment temperature control

Fridge Temperature button: Fridge compartment temperature control
button
Menu button: This button is used to select the various
optional functions. Each time the button is
pressed, a different option is highlighted.
OK button: The OK button is used to confirm the
selected function and to deactivate the
acoustic signal
Ice On/Off: Use the Ice On/Off button to switch the ice
maker on or off. When the ice maker is on,
the display show on icon light
Ice mode button: Press this button to select the type of ice
desired: crushed or cubes
Light button: Ice and water light can be switched On and
Off by pressing the Light button on the
control panel or pressing one of the two
dispenser levers; the light will switch off
automatically once the water or ice has been
dispensed.
Stand-by button: This button needs to switch ON/OFF the
appliance without remove the power supply.
It must be pressed during 3 seconds.

How works........ ? Answer
Freezer Temperature button [+] and [-]: This button needs to set up the Freezer
temperature set-point from -24°C to -18°C
Fridge Temperature button [+] and [-]: This button needs to set up the Fridge
temperature set-point from +2°C to +6°C
Stand-by button: This button needs to switch ON/OFF the
appliance without remove the power supply.
It must be pressed during 3 seconds.
Mode button: This button needs to engage/disengage the
Cubed/Crushed ice mode (it will change the
blades rotation).
Dispenser lamp button: This buttons needs to switch ON/OFF the
dispenser lamp (the dispenser lamp will be
switched ON every time the paddle is
pressed).
Vacation: Fridge compartment stop to run. You can
leave fridge door closed because every 30
minutes the compartment is refreshed for 2
minutes to avoid growing bacteria.

Fast freezing: The Compressors runs 24 hours continuously.
Filter reset: After replace the cartridge press the Reset
colour.
Alarm reset: Push the alarm reset button for disable the
acoustic alarm
On-Off button: Push the On-Off button for enable/disable the
Ice maker function
Child lock: This function is used to lock the water and
ice dispenser. The panel can be completely
locked by pressing both the Fast-freezing and
Vacation buttons for 3 seconds.

Freezer Temperature: To change temperature, press the Freezer
temp. button until the display show the
required value
Fridge Temperature To change temperature, press the Fridge
temp. button until the display show the
required value
Ice Mode: This button needs to engage/disengage the
Cubed/Crushed ice mode (it will change the
blades rotation).
Fast freezing: This function must be activated before
freezing fresh food. To activate the function
press Fast freezing button until the icon light
up. The function is automatically deactivated
after 24 hours or manually by pressing again
the button.

Vacation Mode: This function deactivates the refrigeration
compartment if the user is going away for
sometime
Reset filter/alarm: In the event of an alarm, the acoustic alarm
and indicator lights are activated. To disable
the acoustic signal, press Reset filter/alarm
button. If not manually deactivated by
pressing the button, the acoustic alarm
will switch off automatically after 10 minutes.
Child lock: This function is used to completely lock the
control panel and the water and ice dispenser
Reset filter/alarm and Vacation mode buttons
for about 3 second or the child lock button
when available: one symbol (key) will
come on and an acoustic alarm will indicate
activation of the function. To deactivate the
function, carry out the same procedure until
the symbol goes off
ECO mode: Activation of “Eco Mode”:
Press the ice & water button and the reset
alarm button at the same time for 2
seconds. After the 2 seconds the “Eco” icon
will turn ON and 13 seconds later the
display turns OFF. The buzzer sounds one
time.
Deactivation of the “Eco Mode”:
Press the ice & water button and reset alarm
button at the same time for 2 seconds.
After 2 seconds the “Eco” icon will turn OFF
and 13 seconds later the display remains
ON. The buzzer sounds one time.
Note: If there exist a power supply
interruption, the “Eco“ function is also
deactivated.
