Electrical: A 115-volt, 60-Hz., AC-only, 15- or
20- mp fused, grounded electric l supply is
required. It is recommended th t sep r te
circuit serving only your refriger tor be
provided. Use n outlet th t c nnot be turned
off by switch. Do not use n extension cord.
NOTE: Before performing ny type of
inst ll tion, cle ning, or removing light
bulb, turn the control (Thermost t,
Refriger tor or Freezer Control depending on
the model) to OFF nd then disconnect the
refriger tor from the electric l source. When
you re finished, reconnect the refriger tor to
the electric l source nd reset the control
(Thermost t, Refriger tor or Freezer Control
depending on the model) to the desired
setting.
Water: A cold w ter supply with w ter
pressure of between 30 nd 120 psi (207
nd 827 kP ) is required to oper te the w ter
dispenser nd ice m ker. If you h ve
questions bout your w ter pressure, c ll
licensed, qu lified plumber.
IMPORTANT: The pressure of the w ter
supply coming out of reverse osmosis
system going to the w ter inlet v lve of the
refriger tor needs to be between 30 nd
120 psi (207 nd 827 kP ).
If reverse osmosis w ter filtr tion system
is connected to your cold w ter supply, the
w ter pressure to the reverse osmosis
system needs to be minimum of 40 to
60 psi (276 to 414 kP ).

To ensure proper ventil tion for your refriger tor, llow for 1/2" (1.25 cm) sp ce
on e ch side nd t the top. When inst lling your refriger tor next to fixed w ll,
le ve 2" (5.1 cm) minimum on the hinge side (some models require more) to llow
for the door to swing open. If your refriger tor h s n ice m ker, llow extr sp ce
t the b ck for the w ter line connections.
NOTE: It is recommended th t you do not inst ll the refriger tor ne r n oven,
r di tor, or other he t source. Do not inst ll the refriger tor in loc tion where the
temper ture will f ll below 55°F (13°C).
