Normally to heavily soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear, towels, shirts
etc. made of cotton, coloured cotton and linen.
Fortemperature selection,please respect the manufacturer's recommendation
on the care label. At a temperature of 80°C or more, this programme
eliminates bacteria, ensuring sanitization of your laundry. The bacteria removal
efficiency has been tested following a similar methodology to the NF EN 13697
standard of Nov. 2001.
With heavily soiled laundry the additional “Prewash” option can be selected as well.

Add the detergents as described in the programme
table or in the chapter “Detergents and Additives”
in your Instructions for Use booklet.
1. Switch on the machine by pressing the
“On/Off”-button.
2. Theblueindicationlightsofthemain programmes
and of the “Reset” button light up.
3. Select the desired programme by pressing the
correspondingbutton.Thebluelampsoftheother
programmes go out, and the lamp of the
“Start/Pause”buttonflashes. The displayshows
the predefined spin speed and temperature
corresponding to the selected programme.
4. The temperature can be altered by pressing the
temperature selection buttons “+/-”, the spin
speed by pressing the spin speed selection button
. If spin speed “0” is selected, the final spinning
is cancelled, but intermediate spin peaks remain
during rinse; the water is drained out only.
• Wash your laundry in the desired programme
(Cotton, Synthetics), adding an appropriate
amount of chlorine bleach to the SOFTENER
chamber (close the detergent dispenser
carefully).
• Immediatelyafterendofprogramme,startthe“Rinse
andSpin”programmetoeliminateanyresidualbleach
smell; if you want, you can add softener.
Selecting any special option the indication lights up.
When the combination of programme, additional
optionsandtemperatureisnot possible,theindication
lights switch off automatically. Unsuitable
combinations of options are deselected automatically.
“7 kg” button
• Allows you, in the “Cotton” programme, to
effectively wash loads up to 7 kg with minimal
water usage and energy consumption.
“Easy Ironing” button
• Canbeused togetherwith“Cotton”,“Synthetics”
and “Daily” programmes to make ironing easier.
• Increases the water quantity and the clothes are
spun very soft.
“Prewash” button
• Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand,
granular dirt) sensible. The cycle time increases
approximately 15 min.
“Intensive Rinse” button
• More water and a longertimein rinse cycle is added.
• This option is particularly suitable for areas with
very soft water, washing baby linen and helps
people with allergies.
“Rinse Hold” button
• The laundry remains in the last rinse water
withoutprogressingto the final spin cycleto avoid
creasing and prevent colours from changing.
• This option is particularly recommended for the
programme “Synthetics”, “Daily” and “Delicates”.

Prewash cycle might increase programme duration. Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance
with Standard IEC / EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the
water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.
*The remaining time indicator can similarly deviate from the values in the table, because it takes into account the household
conditions applicable at that time. When the remaining programme duration is newly calculated, the 6th Sense symbol
appears on the display.
** To reducethewater temperature, somecoldwater is addedatthe end ofthe main washcycle, beforethepump drainsthewater out.

ADD DETERGENTS, CLOSE THE DOOR
AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME
USING CHLORINE BLEACH
SELECT SPECIAL OPTIONS
•Thisfunctionisparticularly useful if you want to
postpone spinning to a later time, or if you want
to drain only.
Note: The programme stops to “Rinse Hold” at
the time the “Rinse Hold” symbol is indicated on
the display. The “Start/Pause” button flashes.
Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option:
• Press the “Start/Pause” button; the
programmewillterminate automaticallywiththe
final spin cycle for the present wash programme.
• If you do not wish to spin the clothes, press the
“Reset” button and afterwards the“Start/Pause”
button to start the “Drain” programme.
You have the possibility to store, for each main
programme, your preferred combination of
programme, options, temperature and spin speed.
After having selected the desired combination,
press the “Favourites” button for at least 3 sec.
Next time you choose the corresponding
programme, the display will show you the stored
parameters, and you just have to press “Start/
Pause”. If you want to change the stored
combination, just make your new choice and again
press the “Favourites” button for at least 3 sec.
The previous combination is cancelled
automatically, and the new one is stored.
The “Start Delay” allows to run the machine at the
consumer’sconvenience,forexampleatnightwhen
electricity is cheaper.
• Select programme, temperature, spin speed and
options.
• Press the “Start Delay” button to select the
delay time by 1 to 23 hours. The selected start
delay is indicated on the display under
“Remaining Time”.
• Press the “Start/Pause” button - the
countdown of the selected start delay begins.
• The start delay indication disappears when the
programme starts and is replaced by the
remaining time.
• The number of hours can be modified later by
pressing the “Start Delay” button again.
To cancel the “Start Delay”
• Press the “Reset” button for at least 3 seconds -
the start delay time disappears from the
remaining time indication.
Openthetapandpressthe“Start/Pause” button.
The blue lamp under the “Start/Pause” button
stopsflashingandlightsup. Thedisplayindicates the
sequence reached in the programme by the
corresponding symbol. When the programme
sequence is finished, the corresponding symbol
disappears. Under “Remaining Time”, the display
indicates the remaining programme duration.
As long as a washing programme is running, the lamp
lightsuptoshowthatthedoorcannotbeopened.When
the indication goes off, the door can be opened again.
“Clean filter”
Wastewaterisnotpumpedout.Checkwhetherthe
drain hose is kinked or the filter must be cleaned; in
the latter case refer to the Instructions for Use
(“Removing the Filter”).
“Water tap closed”
The appliance has no or insufficient water supply.
Open the water tap; if the indication still lights up,
refer to the “Troubleshooting Guide” in the
Instructions for Use.
• On the display, the “Remaining time” disappears
and “End” is indicated.
1. Switch the machine off by pressing the
“On/Off”-button.
2. Close the water tap.
3. Open the door and unload the machine.
4. Leave the door ajar to allow the drum to dry out.
1. Press the “Start/Pause” button to pause the
programme. The light flashes.
2. Select the new programme (with temperature),
any options and another spin speed if you want.
3. Press the “Start/Pause” button again. The new
programmecontinuesatthesamepositionwhere
thepreviousprogrammewasinterrupted.Donot
add detergent for this programme.
• Pressthe“Reset”buttonforatleast3seconds.
Any existing water is drained out before the
door can be opened.
