IMPORTANT
• Please read through instructions prior to constructing beehive
• Ensure you have all listed parts and tools required for set up before beginning
• A clean workplace is required for safe and easy construction of your beehive
• Do not use any parts that are damaged (If this occurs, please contact your supplier)
NOTE FROM SUPPLIER:
Please check and ensure you have all parts listed and tools required before
commencing construction of your beehive.
Tools required: Hammer, Rubber Mallet, Pencil, and Measuring Tape

Step 1: Marking Lines
Place the Base Board down on your
workspace. See Diagram 1 to identify where
you need to use your pencil to mark where
the cleats will be placed.
Note: The side which is facing upwards to you
will form the outside base of your beehive.
Step 2: Placing Cleats
Place the edge of your 2 x
Cleats within the 14 cm pencil
mark as shown in Diagram 2.
Once done, put cleats in place
and turn it over.

Step 3: Nailing Cleats
Use 4 x 30mm nails to attach the Cleats to
the Base Board.
Note: We suggest placing the nail 10cm in
from the edge of the Cleats on each side.
Once done put the assembled baseboard &
cleats to the side for later.
Completed base board & cleats should
look like Diagram 4.

Step 4: Base Board Riser
Gather the base board part No. 3, 4, 5 & 4 x 25mm nails.
Step 5: Nailing Base Board Riser
Place and nail the corners as shown in Diagram 5.
Step 6: Aligning to Base Board
Place your assembled Base Board
Risers on your assembled Base Board
as shown in Diagram 6.
Note: The position of the Base Entrance
Riser in Diagram 6.
Step 7: Nailing Frame & Base
Use your 8 x 25mm nails to attach Base
Board Risers to Base Board.
IMPORTANT
The Base Entrance Riser should be at
least 2.5cm away from the front edge of the
base board. See Diagram 7.
If unclear, view this manual’s cover to see complete
assembled beehive. You will notice some space between
the Entrance Riser & Base Board edge.

The Base Back Riser should sit ush with
the back edge of the base board.

Step 8: Beehive Supers
Using a rubber mallet, assemble your beehive Supers by aligning the
joints as shown in Diagram 9 and hammer into place.
Use 20 x 40mm nails to secure the walls together.
Repeat Step 8 with remaining supers.
Step 9: Attaching Base to Supers
Turn your assembled beehive upside
down, as shown in Diagram 10.
Take your assembled Base Board
and align the beehive walls with the
Base Board Risers.
Step 10: Nailing Beehive Box
Use your 10 x 50mm nails to attach the
assembled Base Board to the Beehive
Box as shown in Diagram 11.

Step 11: Constructing Frames
Match 1 x Top Bar, 2 x Side Bar and 1 x Bottom
bar (as shown on Diagram 12). Connect & nail
accordingly using 4 x 25mm nails per frame.
Step 12: Final Step
Place 16 assembled beehive frames in the completed beehive, then place the
second completed beehive box on top & insert 16 remaining frames.
Complete assembly by placing the pre-assembled lid on top.
