Safety information
· Keep out of reach of children and pets
· If the product becomes wet: do not use. Call Wil-
liams Sound customer service: 800-843-3544
· Do not handle charging cable with wet hands
· Prior to using, set the volume on the microphone to
the lowest level. Once on, adjust the volume only to
the minimum level needed
· Do not position the speaker too close to the ears
· Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the
product
· Do not drop, shake, or expose to impacts
· Do not set heavy objects on top of the unit
· Do not use the system in high humidity environ-
ments
· Do not expose the product to dirt and grime
· Avoid using the product in direct sunlight or high
temperatures
· Do not clean the product with chemicals
· Do not push multiple buttons at one time
· If the product is not used for a long period, discon-
nect the battery from the speaker. Charge the
battery every three months to maintain normal
operation.
· Store battery at room temperature only (between
40° to 80° F).
· Do not expose battery to temperatures above
140° F for any extended period
· Do not charge the battery for extended periods of
time. This may overheat and damage the unit
· Do not use a charger or auxiliary input cord not
included with this system or it may damage the unit
· If you experience feedback (a squealing or howling
sound), reduce the volume setting and move the
microphone away from the earphone or headphone
· This product is designed for domestic use. There-
fore, if using overseas, a charger adapter will be
required

Battery installation
IMPORTANT The battery shipped with this unit was disconnected at the factory.
Prior to using the Sorin product, connect the battery as shown:
1. Pull down the battery cover 2. The battery will be visible after opening the cover.
3. Connect the battery to the product. 4. Close the case.
WARNING: Use only the
battery pack sold with this
unit. Never charge the battery
with a substitute battery char-
ger. Do not allow the battery
to become short circuited.

Turning power on/off
Speaker Power
· Individual power buttons located on speaker, and microphone control cable
· Speaker turns ON after pushing the button for 1 second
· Speaker turns OFF after pushing the button for 1 second

Charging the speaker
Charging terminal
· Prior to use, charge the unit for at least 3 hours. Note: Charger can be used to power the
speaker provided the battery is fully charged.
· If the product is not used frequently, disconnect the battery in the battery compartment
Charge the battery every 3 months to maintain proper function IMPORTANT: Only charge
the battery at temperatures between 32° to 110° F.

Checking the battery
· Users can verify if the battery is charged, charging, and if the power is on/off.
· If the indicator shows “GGGR,” the battery is full charged and ready for use.
· If the indicator shows “R,” the unit needs charged.

Using the microphone
Mic connection terminal
· Connect control cable with microphone to the microphone terminal.
· Turn the power on by pressing the power button for 1 second
· Adjust the volume control on the microphone
If you experience feedback, lower the speaker volume and/or move the microphone away
from the speaker.

Connecting external devices
· Users may connect external audio devices such as an MP3 or CD player to the AUX input
on the speaker.

Using the stand
Set the Sorin on a at surface such as a table or desk.
1. Set the stand on the three o’clock position on the back side of the
speaker and turn 90 degrees to lock into place

Using the belt clip
1. Place the belt clip at a three o’clock position on top of the metal
plate on the back of the speaker. Turn the belt clip 90 degrees to
lock into place.

Using the shoulder strap
· The shoulder strap can also be used with the carry case.
1. Install strap clips on both
sides of the speaker
2. Connect the shoulder
strap to the strap clip

Using the microphone (MIC 042)
· Place the rear wear microphone over ears

Troubleshooting
Q: The power indicator light is not on.
A: The rechargeable battery may be depleted. Charge the battery for at
least 3 hours.
Q: The product is not working properly, or does not work at all.
A: Disconnect the battery, reinstall and turn on the power. If the product still
isn’t working, contact Williams Sound customer service: 800-843-3544 or
1-952-943-2252.
Q: There is no sound from microphone.
A: Check microphone connection and that volume control is turned up.
Q: The battery runs for only a short time, despite charging it completely.
A: Disconnect the battery, then reinstall and charge again.
If you have used the battery for more than a year, the battery may need to be
replaced. Call Williams Sound customer service to order a replacement battery
(part no.: BAT 040): 800-843-3544 or 1-952-943-2252.

of your equipment properly.
Product Recycling for Customers in the European Union:
Please do NOT dispose of your Williams Sound equipment in the
household trash. Please take the equipment to a electronics
recycling center; OR return the product to the factory for proper
disposal.

Please do NOT dispose of used batteries in the household trash.
Please take the batteries to a retail or community collection
point for recycling.

Limited warranty
Williams Sound products are engineered, designed, and manufactured under carefully controlled conditions to
provide you with many years of reliable service. Williams Sound warrants the Sorin system against defects in ma-
terials and workmanship for TWO (2) years. During the rst two years from the purchase date, we will promptly
repair or replace the Sorin.
Microphones, earphones, headphones, batteries, cables, carry cases, and all other accessory products carry a
90-day warranty.
If you experience difculty with your system, call Toll-Free for U.S. customer Assistance: 1-800-843- 3544
(U.S.A.) or +1 952 943 2252 (Outside the U.S.A.). If it is necessary to return the system for service, your Cus-
tomer Service Representative will give you a Return Authorization Number (RA) and shipping instructions. Pack
