WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Save these instructions. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
Recommended for indoor use.
Recommended operating temperature is 10-40 °C, 50-104 °F
Keep all liquids away to reduce risk of electrical shock.
NEVER use if safety cover is missing or loose. Exposed moving parts could cause serious injury.
This machine is only to be powered by 24Vdc SELV power, such from the external power supply.
Extension cords should be chosen carefully and inspected regularly. Replace rather than repair.
Wilson will not be held liable for any damage (direct or indirect) caused by incorrect installation,
poor maintenance, non-approved alterations or improper use. We will also not be held liable for
failure to comply with safety standards for accidents, fire or the safety of electrical installations.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children are to be supervised so that they do not play with the product.
Make sure the machine is always turned off before cleaning it or servicing one of its components.
Unplug the power cable from the mains socket. Never wash the machine using water, a hose or
high-pressure cleaning device.
Children should not clean or perform maintenance on the machine.
Cleaning and maintenance should be done only as detailed at www.wilson.com/baiardo.
ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE
To assemble the machine, follow all steps listed on the included set-up guide in order.
To acquire a new or missing set-up guide, go to www.wilson.com/baiardo to view or
download a copy.
All parts are shown in the set-up guide. Contact your Wilson representative
immediately if any parts are missing.
All tools for assembly are included.
Use EXTREME caution until fully assembled.
Ensure machine is level prior to use.

The touch screen is the only method of operating Baiardo Tune.

CHANGING LANGUAGES
The machine can run in several different languages. This can
only be changed during start up.
Touch the world icon on the start up screen to change languages.

BASIC OPERATING REMINDERS
Ensure all wires are connected underneath the machine.
Do not lean on machine or load cells!
Do not leave machine in extreme temperatures. If so, allow
the machine to warm to room temperature. It is recommended
to leave machine in temperatures between 50 & 90 °F.
PASSCODE
Default passcode is “0-0-0-0”
If passcode is lost, please use master passcode “7-3-5-6”

THE BASICS
LOAD CELLS
Machine has two load cells that measure weight and balance of a racquet.
Both load cell fixtures are removable.
Never lean or place anything on top of load cells!
CHOOSE NEW PASSCODE
Select “Settings” from home screen
Select “Change Passcode”
Enter a 4 digit passcode

HANDLE ALIGNMENT CAM
Machine has an alignment cam for weight and balance test.
The cam ensures the racquet is properly aligned for each test.
Alignment Cam is removable and has two positions:
• Position 3: Padel, Pickleball, Platform, Racquetball
• Position 4: Tennis, Squash, Badminton
SWING WEIGHT CLAMP
• Machine has a swing weight clamp to secure a racquet
or paddle handle to measure swing weight.
• Clamp is locked by rotating the lever forward
• Check clamp bubble level to ensure machine is properly
leveled before use.

CHOOSE A SPORT
The machine will prompt to choose a sport.
Touch any of the icons depending on the product being tested.
SETTING UP A TEST
The machine will prompt which test to choose.
Touch any of the icons depending on which test is desired.

WEIGHT AND BALANCE
1. Place hoop and handle loading
fixture in correct location.
2. Place alignment cam in correct position.
3. Touch the weight icon and zero the scale. 4. Align racquet so that the butt cap is touching
the flat side of the alignment cam.
5. Rotate the alignment cam so that the
flat no longer touches the butt cap.
6. Machine will beep once the weight
and balance has been measured.
Note: If measurement seems incorrect, check
that alignment cam is NOT touching the butt cap.

SWING WEIGHT TEST
1. Align racquet handle in the swing
weight clamp.
2. Rotate the swing weight knob down
to lock the racquet in place.
3. Touch the swing weight icon and
zero the scale.
4. Grab back of swing weight clamp
and rotate to the left.
5. Wait for an audible beep, let go of the
clamp, and let clamp swing freely.
6. Machine will beep again once swing
weight has been measured.
7. When test is complete, repeat steps 4
through 5 to re-test for confirmation.

INTERPRETING A TEST
Test result will display immediately after the test is completed.
The results bar will either be green, orange, or red:
Green = Low end of range
Orange = Middle of range
Red = High end of range
Results will also display on summary when SAVE button is hit.
SAVING A TEST
When a test is saved, it will be stored in two locations:
1. It will be stored on the test summary screen temporarily.
2. It will also be stored in the test history for viewing at a later time.
Note: The history will only store up to 6 data sets. After 6, the oldest entry will be erased.

WHAT IS TUNING MODE?
Tuning Mode is a real time customization guide designed to easily help you
change specs of your racquet. Just by measuring Weight, Balance, and Swing
Weight, Tuning Mode will tell you where and how much weight to add to your
racquet to meet whatever spec you desire.
SETTING UP TUNING MODE
Tuning Mode icon will be not visible until Weight, Balance,
and Swing Weight have been measured.
Once these specs have been measured, Tuning Mode icon will turn orange.
Touch Tuning Mode icon to enter program.

USING LIVE TUNING MODE
1. Enter Tuning Mode from Weight,
Balance, Swing Weight screen.
2. Enter the length of the racquet
from end of handle.
3. Enter head length from outer edge
of hoop to outer edge of yoke.
4. Set up racquet on machine to
measure weight and balance.
5. Machine will automatically calculate swing weight.
6. From here, add weight to anywhere on the racquet,
and the numbers will adjust in real time.
7. Hit back arrow to return to weight/balance/swing
weight measurement screen.

USING CALCULATE MODE
1. Enter Tuning Mode from Weight,
Balance, Swing Weight screen.
2. Enter the length of the racquet
from end of handle.
3. Enter head length from outer edge of hoop to
outer edge of yoke.
4. Set up racquet on machine to take measure
weight and balance.
5. Machine will automatically calculate swing weight.
6. Hit NEXT to enter Calculate Mode.
7. Enter 2 of 3 desired specs from Weight, Balance,
and Swing Weight and press CALCULATE.
8. If calculated spec is acceptable, hit ENTER.
9. The final screen will show where to add mass
on the racquet to achieve the desired spec.
10.Hit FINISH to return to Weight, Balance,
and Swing Weight screen.
Note: All calculations are based on adding mass
and therefore some desired spec combinations are
not calculable.

CALIBRATION
WEIGHT AND BALANCE
1. Enter Scale Loadcell Calibration
through the Settings menu.
2. Remove the Handle and
Hoop Load cell fixtures.
3. Measure Scale 1 with no weight.
Hit SAVE.
4. Measure Scale 1 with 300 gram
bar inserted. Hit SAVE.
5. Measure Scale 2 with no weight.
Hit SAVE.
6. Measure Scale 2 with 300 gram bar
inserted. Hit SAVE.
7. Weight and Balance loadcells are
now calibrated.

CALIBRATION SWING WEIGHT
SWING WEIGHT CALIBRATION
TO ANOTHER UNIT
1. Record the measured swing weight
of the calibration bar in another
device at 100 kg-cm.
2. Load bar into this machine, rotate
and release.
3. Use the arrow keys to adjust the
number to the corresponding
recordednumbers of the other device.
4. Repeat above steps for 200 kg*cm,
300 kg*cm, and 400 kg*cm loads.
1. Ensure bubble in swing weight
clamp is level.
2. Enter Swing Weight Calibration
through the Settings menu.
3. Unloaded, rotate the swing weight
clamp from the back toward the left.
4. Once audible beep is heard, release
the clamp and let freely swing.
5. Hit ENTER.
6. Repeat above steps for 100 kg*cm,
200 kg*cm, 300 kg*cm, and
400 kg*cm loads.

Never use the machine outside or in extreme temperatures
Never lean on the loadcells
To emergency stop a test, touch anywhere on the touch screen during a test
