Warnings
●Proper confi uration of all passwords and other security
settin s is the responsibility of the installer and/or end-user.
●In the use of the product, you must be in strict compliance with
the electrical safety re ulations of the nation and re ion. Please
refer to technical specifications for detailed information.
●Input volta e should meet both the SELV (Safety Extra Low
Volta e) and the Limited Power Source with 24 VAC or 12 VDC
accordin to the IEC60950-1 standard. Please refer to technical
specifications for detailed information.
●Do not connect several devices to one power adapter as
adapter overload may cause over-heatin or a fire hazard.
●Please make sure that the plu is firmly connected to the power
socket. When the product is mounted on wall or ceilin , the
device shall be firmly fixed.
●If smoke, odor, or noise rise from the device, turn off the power
at once and unplu the power cable, and contact the service
center.

●Make sure the power supply volta e is correct before usin the
camera.
●Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock.
●Do not touch sensor modules with fin ers. If cleanin is
necessary, use a clean cloth with a bit of ethanol and wipe it
ently. If the camera will not be used for an extended period,
replace the lens cap to protect the sensor from dirt.
●Do not aim the camera at the sun or extra bri ht places.
Bloomin or smearin may occur (which is not a malfunction),
and affect the sensor’s endurance at the same time.
●The sensor may be burned out by a laser beam, so when any
laser equipment is in use, make sure that the surface of sensor
will not be exposed to the laser beam.
●Do not place the camera in extremely hot, cold (the operatin
temperature shall be -30°C to +60°C, or -40°C to +60°C if the
camera model has an “H” in its suffix), dusty, or damp locations,
and do not expose it to hi h electroma netic radiation.
●To avoid heat accumulation, ensure that there is ood
ventilation to the device.
●Keep the camera away from liquids.
●While in delivery, pack the camera in its ori inal, or equivalent,
packin , packin materials. Or packin of the same texture.
●Re ular part replacement: a few parts (e. . electrolytic
capacitor) of the equipment shall be replaced re ularly
accordin to their avera e endurance. The avera e time varies
because of differences between operatin environments and

1.3 WPS Instruction
WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup, also known as AOSS or QSS) is a
computin standard that attempts to allow easy establishment of a
secure wireless network.
A wireless router with the WPS function is required to enable the
WPS function of the camera.
Steps:
1. Press the WPS button on the router.
2. Press the WPS button (about 2s) on the camera within 120s you
enable the WPS of the router to join in the wireless network.
The WPS button works as a reset button only when you press it
when the camera is powerin on.
Press the WPS button on the camera, and then press the WPS
button on the router will work as well, and the expire time of
WPS connection on the camera is 120s.
The link indicator blinks if the wireless connection succeeded.
1.4 Wi-Fi Connection
You can activate and mana e the camera via EZVIZ Cloud P2P
platform or iVMS-4500 mobile phone client software. Refer to the
enclosed EZVIZ user manual for platform access, and refer to the
steps below for camera Wi-Fi settin s with iVMS-4500 software.

Steps:
1. Connect the phone to the Wi-Fi network.
2. Install the iVMS-4500 mobile client software to the phone.
3. Open the iVMS-4500 mobile client software and enter the Wi-Fi
confi uration interface to add the device.
4. Input the device serial No. or use your phone to scan the serial No.
on the device label by ali nin the QR Code or Barcode with the
scannin frame.
5. Click Next and input the password (if required) of the Wi-Fi
network that your phone connects to.
6. Follow the prompts to finish the Wi-Fi connection.
7. The mobile client software obtains the device IP address
automatically after the Wi-Fi established. For the first-time lo in,
you are required to activate the camera first.

2Installation
Before you start:
●Make sure the device in the packa e is in ood condition and all
the assembly parts are included.
●The standard power supply is 12 VDC or 24 VAC, please make
sure your power supply matches with your camera.
●Make sure all the related equipment is power-off durin the
installation.
●Check the specification of the products for the installation
environment.
●Make sure that the wall is stron enou h to withstand four
times the wei ht of the camera and the bracket.
For the camera that supports IR, you are required to pay attention to
the followin precautions to prevent IR reflection:
●Dust or rease on the dome cover will cause IR reflection.
Please do not remove the dome cover film until the installation
is finished. If there is dust or rease on the dome cover, clean
the dome cover with clean soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
●Make sure that there is no reflective surface too close to the
camera lens. The IR li ht from the camera may reflect back into
the lens causin reflection.
●The foam rin around the lens must be seated flush a ainst the
inner surface of the bubble to isolate the lens from the IR LEDS.
Fasten the dome cover to camera body so that the foam rin
and the dome cover are attached seamlessly.

2.1 T pe I & T pe II Cube Camera Installation
Type I and Type II cube camera shares the similar appearance and
installation method. Type I will be taken as an example to explain the
installation steps.
2.1.1 microSD Card Installation
This series of camera supports microSD card installation. Follow the
steps below to install the microSD card.
Steps:
1. Insert the microSD card into the card slot on the side of the
camera.
2. (Optional) Push the inserted microSD card to et it sprun out.
