1. Installation & Settings
1.1. System requirement：
OS：Windows 2000 or Windows XP
Communication：TCP/IP
Interface：10/100M base LAN
Browser：Internet Explore
1.2. Install IP camera
We have two way to install this IP camera.
One is install on ceiling. Another is install on the wall.

1.3. Connect IP camera cable
When you test a new NVC 303 IP camera, you need connect power
plug to power socket and connect Ethernet cable to IP camera
Ethernet socket.

1.4. Internet connection
Reference for Intranet and Internet connection methods：
Internet refers to Public IP Address, while Intranet refers to Private
IP Address.
Private IP Address ranges:
• 10.0.0.0 through 10.255.255.255
• 172.16.0.0 through 172.31.255.255
• 192.168.0.0 through 192.168.255.255
 Intranet：To have a successful connection, IP camera and the
client should in the same networking environment, and their
Private IP Address should be on the same Subnet. It is shown
in the picture below.
 Internet
Method ONE：IP camera connects to Internet via router. At
this moment, IP camera’s setting is Private IP Address. To
properly connect to Internet, the client should go through with
router’s forward rules. It is shown in the picture below.

Method TWO：IP camera connects to Internet directly. If it is
a fixed IP, you have to type the IP Address provided by your ISP.
If it is a floating IP, you have to type the account and password
provided by the ISP to dial-up.

1.5. Start IP camera
Please confirm your IP camera is power on and connect to Ethernet
HUB. After 30 second, IP camers can be actived.
Now we have two way to find this IP camera. One is set your PC IP
address to 192.168.1.XXX, this IP camera default IP address is
192.168.1.126, you can set your PC address at same subnet, like
192.168.1.22, and you can ping this 192.168.1.126 address, if ping
back good message, you can use IE goto this address
http://192.168.1.126, user name is “admin”, no password at default.
Another way is use search software IPCameraSearch, you can find
it at software CD.next step tell you how to use this software.

1.6. How to use IPCameraSearcher
1. Copy IPCameraSearcher.exe file to your HDD. Double click to
start it.
When Windows Security Alert Alarm,
Select [Unblock]

2. Click [Search]
You can find all NVC 303 at network.
If search long time, can not find any unit, you can click [Clear] at first,
and click [Search] again.

3. Click [Config IE] button to automatic config IE ActiveX setting.

4．Select one IP address which was searched
This time, we select first item at list. Click one time select this item.

5．Click [Update IP], one dialog box pop-up, we can change [New
IP ADDRESS], and click [Ok] save this modify.
You need set IP address of IP camera at same subnet of your PC.

6．Waiting 30 sec,Unit will update IP and restart.

7. Update MAC address.
Click[UpdateMAC], input New MAC, click [Ok]
You also need wait 30 sec when unit upgrade itself.

8. Update unit name.
Each NVC 303 can set one name, default name is “IPCAM”, you can
click [UpdateName] to modify this.

9. Update http service port.
You can click [UpdatePort] to change http server port, default is 80.
