Important notes:
1. If the seal labels on the box are torn, missing, or damaged before you
open it, please contact us for a new camera, email: s[email protected]om.
2. Before using the camera, please complete the first setup as described in
Chapter 2.

- 3 -wiwacam.com/support
3. We have tested the WiFi performance of each camera before delivery.
However, it's possible that the WiFi antenna may become damaged during
shipping. If you experience any problems with weak WiFi performance on
the camera you receive, please contact us for a replacement.
4. The MW7 Pro camera uses external surfaces for heat dissipation. You
may notice that the camera surface is hot during camera operation, this is
normal.
5. The MW7 Pro camera has equipped a front panel that has a glass cover
to hide the camera. We have used high-quality transparent glass for this
purpose. However, it is important to note that this can still have a slight
impact on the image quality, which is considered normal. It's worth
mentioning that all similar models available in the market experience a
similar impact.
6. Please be aware that the front glass is fragile and can easily break if it
falls to the ground.
7. To achieve better image quality and better night vision, please place the
MW7 Pro camera closer to the edge of the table. If it is positioned too far
away from the table edge, a significant portion of the image may be
occupied by the table itself. We recommend keeping a distance of LESS
than 6 inches from the camera to the table edge for optimal results.
8. In night vision mode, be careful not to have objects too close to the lens.
Objects closed to lens will block the infrared rays or reflect the infrared
rays to the lens. The blocking or reflection will severely degrade night vision
image quality.
9. The MW7 Pro prevents rapid switching back and forth between day
mode and night mode. If the camera switches modes frequently within 1
minute, it will stay in night mode for 30 minutes. Afterward, it resumes
attempting to detect the lighting conditions automatically. If you see the
camera still in night mode when the room is well-lit, simply wait a few
minutes for it to switch back to auto light detection mode.

(After removing the back cover)
2. Setup Camera and Connect to WiFi
2.1 Preparation
Please check the following before using your camera for the first time:
✓ Make sure your router has a 2.4GHz frequency band (most 5GHz routers
also have a 2.4GHz band, so it should work if you have a router with 5GHz
WiFi support)
✓ Connect your smartphone to the target WiFi (the WiFi you want to
connect the camera to)
✓ Keep your smartphone and the camera close to your WiFi router, within
9 feet (3 meters) during the installation process (you can move the camera
further away after installation)
✓ Ensure you have the correct WiFi password for the network

- 7 -wiwacam.com/support
2.2 Prepare and Turn on Camera
✓Remove the front panel of the camera, but be careful as the front glass
could potentially fall to the ground.
✓Go to the back of camera, open the back cover (a small notch in the
middle of one of the edges facilitates the opening of the cover).
✓Plug the camera into a power outlet. Put the ON/OFF button to ON.
✓Wait for 30 to 40 seconds, and you will see the time display on the front
of the camera start to rotate in a circle. This indicates that the camera is now
ready for setup.
✓If the time display does not rotate in a circle, please try resetting the
camera first (See Chapter 3)
2.3 WIWACAM app
✓Search for ‘wiwacam’ in the App Store (iPhone) or in Google Play
(Android) to find and install the ‘WIWACAM' app for free.
WIWA CAM App Download in App Store and Google Play
✓Set up a new account in the WIWACAM app by clicking 'New User
Registration'.

2.4 Setup Camera
The app will guide you to through the configuration process step by step.
video tutorial available: https://wiwacam.com/mw7-s-en
(The camera support two setup methods. Here is the first way. The second
way can be found in Chapter 2.5)
1. Start the WIWACAM app, click the + button
in top right corner to add a new camera.
2. Select ‘MW7 Pro' from the menu options.
Then follow the instructions in the app.
3. Check if the network indicated in app is
the name of the WiFi to connect to
(must be 2.4G WiFi) --> input the WiFi
password, click ‘Next’.
Note: if the WiFi name here is not the
one you want camera to connect, go to
your phone WiFi settings, connect your
phone to the correct WiFi, then start
from the beginning of Chapter 2.4
again.
4. The App will display a QR Code on its
screen. Keep camera about 6 inches
(15cm) away from phone, with the
camera facing the QR Code on the
phone screen.
Please be aware that not let the Time
Display on the camera face the QR
Code on the phone. Need to let camera

- 9 -wiwacam.com/support
lens face with the code.
At the same time, keep an eye on the time display on the camera. Wait
until you see the digits '9999' or '6666' on the Time Display (as shown
below). Once you notice this, it means the camera scan is successful.
Then, click the 'NEXT' button on the current app page.
(In some cases the app will detect camera automatically and
continue to next step automatically.)
5. The app will display ‘In Progress’ and add the camera, then prompt you
to name the camera and set your own password to the camera. Click
‘Complete’ button.

- 10 -wiwacam.com/support
Now, the camera has been added into the app. You can watch the live video.
Tips:
⚫After you add the camera to your phone, the Time Display on the
camera will automatically synchronize with the internet time, matching
your local time zone. If you want to change the time zone settings,
check Chapter 6.
⚫You can change the camera settings once the camera is added.
⚫You can attach the front cover and glass back to the camera.
⚫You can install the back cover to the camera or install microSD card
first before installing back cover.
Note1: After the camera has been connected to your WiFi, if the camera has
been powered off, you only need to powered it on (there is no need to set it
up again). After powering on, the camera will automatically reconnect to
your WiFi. This process takes around 1 minute.
Note2: As long as your phone has internet (either via WiFi or mobile data),
you can access the camera video via the app, no matter you are at home,
outside or on the go.
Note3: To ensure a good WiFi signal in the planned placement location,

- 11 -wiwacam.com/support
please refer to Chapter 2.6.
2.5 The Second Setup Method
The camera supports two setup methods.
If the setup guide above cannot be completed in your case, please try the
second method. You can find guides and a video tutorial for the 2nd method
at the following link:
https://wiwacam.com/mw7-a-en
2.6 Test WiFi signal of installation place
Before placing the camera, you can test the WiFi signal strength in your
planned placement location by following these steps:
✓ Put your phone as close as possible to planned installation place
✓ Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi network (as this
is the WiFi that will be tested).
✓ Open the WIWACAM app and go to Toolbox > WiFi Test.
✓ Click the Start button
✓ You can find clues for evaluating the test result in the upper part of the
page.
The most important factor is the Upload bandwidth, which the camera
uses to send video to your phone. If the Upload bandwidth is less than
1.5Mbps, you'll need to improve the WiFi signal at that location (by adding
a WiFi repeater, for example) or choose another suitable location.
3. Recharge and Battery
There is 2600mAh rechargeable battery built in the camera. A full charge
could support camera working for approximately 6hours (recording and
some live video transmission, depending on the workload.)
The camera could recharge the battery while camera is connected to USB
power.
The camera recording works during camera recharging.
Note 1: Please charge the battery fully before running the camera over the

- 12 -wiwacam.com/support
battery for the first time.
Note 2: The built-in Li battery may need 3 times of full recharge cycle to
active its full capacity. One full recharging cycle means full recharge
battery then run out of the battery.
(If you feel the battery capacity may get a problem, please contact our
support for a checking and replacement, email: service@wiwacam.com )
To charge the camera battery:
✓Connect the camera by USB cable to power adapter, the camera battery
will be charged. The Charging LED will light up as Solid Orange.
✓Typically, it takes around 8 hours to fully charge the battery.
✓When battery is fully charged, the Charging LED will change to Solid
Green.
4. Install microSD card
1. Install microSD card:
Note: Be sure to power off the camera before inserting or removing the
microSD card
Insert the microSD card into the camera with the contact (metal) side facing
in the opposite direction of the battery.
The camera supports microSD card from 4GB to 128GB and supports both
FAT32 and exFAT format.
Note: make sure microSD card has been formatted to FAT32 or exFAT on
PC or MAC before inserting it into the camera.
After inserting the microSD card, by default the camera has enabled
Continuous Recording. You could confirm or change recording settings from
the WIWCAM app. Check Chapter 6.
2. Convert and Play AVX file on PC or MAC:
Camera records to microSD card with .avx file format into microSD card.
(avx format could provide enhanced data loss protection during video data
recording).

- 13 -wiwacam.com/support
To view or download recordings on phone, no extra tools needed. App will
auto convert avx to mp4.
To check on PC/MAC directly, we provide a tool for PC and MAC to
convert avx file to mp4 file, then you can view the video recording on
PC/MAC directly.
Download convert tool,

5. Reset Camera
You can reset the mini camera. The reset will restore the camera to factory
default settings. After reset, camera will forget all settings, including WiFi
nae and WiFi password. You need to setup the camera again as Chapter 2.4.
To reset camera:
1. Go to the back of camera, open the back cover (there is a small hole in the
middle border to help open the back cover).
2. Plug the camera into a power outlet. Put the ON/OFF button to ON.
3. When the camera is ON, press the RESET button for 3-4 seconds by
Reset Pin (included in the product box), you will see the Status LED starts
to quickly flash blue. Release pressing RESET button, and please wait a
few seconds before performing the next step.
(If the camera does not response to RESET button pressing, check the
camera may not be turned on. Go to Step1 turn on camera or contact us)

- 14 -wiwacam.com/support
4. Wait for about 40 seconds, check the Time Display on the camera is
showing rotating in a circle, the camera reset now is completed.
(the Time Display is NOT showing rotating in a circle after reset? Just try
to reset the camera one more time from the start)
