Before Putting Into Use
Before connecting the appliance to the power suppl , let the unit stand upright for 4 hours,
w h i c h w i l l r e d u c e t h e p o s s i b i l i t o f t h e c o o l i n g s s t e m m a l f u n c t i o n i n g d u e t o i m p r o p e r
handling.
Clean our unit thoroughl before putting into use. (See How to Clean)
Use the parts diagram on page 3 to insure proper positioning of internal components.
Tips for Energy Savings
Keep the refri gerat or and freezer doors closed a s much as possible , particul arl in warm /
humid conditions.
Maintain adequate ventilation around the back and sides of the unit.
Maintain a thermostat setting of between “3” and “5” under normal use.
Allow warm food to cool to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator or freezer.
Excessive ice build up will increase energ consumption. Defrost the unit when ice / frost is
¼” thick.

Important Safety Instructions
DA GER: Risk of child entrapment. Before ou throw awa our old refrigerator or freezer:
Take off the doors.
Leave the shelves in place so that children ma not easil climb inside.
The appliance must be correctl connected to the power suppl . (See: “HOW TO INSTALL”).
Do not use an extension cord as this can negativel affect the performance of the unit.

hands, because the skin ma stick to the cold surfaces.
Do not freeze bottled liquids such as carbonated soft drink, beer, wine, etc. Doing so can
cause glass bottles and aluminum cans to rupture.
If the unit fails to cool properl , dispose of spoiled food as needed.
All repairs should be made b a qualified service technician. Repairs made b non-qualified
personnel will void the warrant .
Do not defrost the appliance with other electric devices (hair dr er etc.) and never scrape the
ice or frost la er with sharp tools.
The rating plate is inside the appliance or outside on the rear wall.

HOW TO OPERATE
Starting Your ew Refrigerator

clean moist cloth.
2. Insert the power suppl cord into the socket.
3. T u r n t h e t h e r m o s t a t d i a l t o “ 7 ” . C l o s e t h e d o o r a n d l e t t h e r e f r i g e r a t o r o p e r a t e f o r 1 5 - 2 0
minutes.
4. Reduce the thermostat to a mid-range setting between “3” and “5” on the thermostat control.
Temperature Control
To control the internal temperature, adjust the
thermostat dial. “1” is the warmest setting. “7” is
the coldest.
The Dial ma be set an place on the scale. It
does not have to be set exactl on a number.
To make ice cubes in the freezer compartment,
adjust the thermostat to the coldest setting.
ote: Wait 3-5 minutes before restarting if ou unplug the refrigerator. The unit ma fail to
operate properl if restarted too quickl .
How To Defrost
Defrost the freezer compartment when the ice / frost is approximatel ¼” thick. Set the thermostat
dial to “0” to defrost. Remove all contents from the freezer compartment. Leave the freezer door
open to allow accumulated ice / frost to melt. Remove large pieces of ice as needed. Do not use
hot water or other electric heating devices to melt the accumulated ice. After defrosting, remove
accumulated ice / water and wipe the freezer compartment dr with a soft cloth. Restart the unit per
starting instructions.

HOW TO CLEA
Cleaners: Never use harsh, abrasive cleaners, heav -dut cleaners, or solvents on an surface.
Exterior: Wipe with damp, suds cloth, rinse and dr . For stubborn stains and for periodic waxing,
use silicon wax.
Freezer: W h e n r e f r i g e r a t o r n e e d s d e f r o s t i n g t u r n t h e r m o s t a t t o “O F F” (“0”). D o n o t u s e s h a r p
instruments to scrap off ice/frost.
Refrigeration Section: Wash shelves and other removable parts in warm suds water, rinse and
dr . Wash interior with baking soda solution (3 tablespoons to I liter of water) or warm
suds water, rinse and dr .
Magnetic Door Seals: Wash with warm suds water.
The Finishing Touch: Replace all parts and return thermostat dial to desired setting.
HOW TO I STALL
Install refrigerator in a convenient location

Select a space with strong level floor.

The appliance must be correctl connected
to the power suppl .
Do not use an extension cord.
POWER CORD REPLACEME T
If the refrigerator’s power cord is damaged, have it replaced b a qualified repair agent.

Care And Maintenance
WHAT TO DO …
When the fridge is not in use for a prolonged period:
Remove the plug from the outlet.
Remove all contents from the fridge.
Dr the interior and leave the door open for a few da s.
When you wish to move the fridge:
Secure all movable parts and contents. (Package them separatel if necessar .)
Transport the fridge onl in an upright position. In an other position ou ma damage the
compressor.
Before calling service, please follow the checklist below.
This ma save ou an expensive service call.
If the refrigerator seems too warm inside:
Check to see that the door is closing properl and the door seal is not damaged.
Check that the interior circulation is not obstructed b having too man goods stored. (The
fridge is overloaded)
Did ou store an thing hot, without first cooling it to room temperature?
Is there sufficient clearance around all sides and above the fridge?
If the fridge starts making any unusual noises:
Is it wobbling? Re-level it and check if it now operates normall .
Have an objects fallen behind the fridge? If so, remove them and check if operation is now
normal.
Are any containers inside the fridge vibrating or resonating? If so, rearrange them then
check to see if operation has returned to normal.
