FUEL
Your Wooshka is designed to burn dry wood only.
It is NOT designed to burn the following:
• Treated or painted wood
• Paper or cardboard, other than small
amounts used to light stove.
• Plastics
• Synthetic fuel or logs that are not approved
for solid fuel stoves
• Household rubbish
• Liquid fuels
Burning these or other products for which Wooshka was not designed may damage the unit and cause a re hazard
or release toxic fumes. Fuel should be stored in a dry place. Wet wood may cause serious creosote, which may
damage your ue and even your Wooshka. Therefore the use of wet wood is strongly discouraged.

STORAGE
Ensure that all hot ash/coals are removed from the rebox safely.
Ensure your Wooshka is cooled before packing away for transport or storage.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Enjoy many years with your Wooshka by following some simple care and maintenance steps:
To prevent light surface rust, ensure that you regularly coat the outside of the rebox, ue pieces,
and cooking plates with food-grade oil. While the unit is still warm, use a soft cloth or paper towel
to rub the oil into the stove and accessories. Before storing your unit for any length of time, make
sure the unit is completely cooled and dry. If left outdoors, ensure that the unit is covered and
protected from the weather. We recommend placing a silica based moisture absorbency product
in with your appliance to minimise the risk of rust.
Before re-lighting your Wooshka, leave a small amount of ash under the internal re grate,
ensuring there is adequate air ow providing plenty of oxygen to the re.
LIGHTING WOOSHKA
You will require:
Kindling, dry rewood cut to small pieces no thicker than 60mm diameter & 300mm long,
newspaper/re starters (if required), matches/lighter.
1. Set up Wooshka on a level surface before starting the re (Tent pegs can be inserted into feet
for additional support.)
2. Place newspaper/re starters in the rebox
3. Sit kindling over the newspaper/restarters
4. To help the re ignite, leave the door and top open to allow air circulation
5. Once the kindling starts to burn, slowly start feeding rewood until you have created a coal base
6. Once the re is well established you can begin add the desired accessories
IMPORTANT:
• Ensure you can light a re in the area you are camping.
• Wooshka is strictly for outdoor use only.
• To extend the life of your Wooshka grill/at plates, we recommend covering the surface with aluminium foil
before cooking on them.
• For cooking, stick with wooden spoons or silicone spatulas. Using sharp objects like, knives or metal spatulas
can scratch and damage the coating on the cooking plates.
• Do not use your Wooshka unless fully assembled.
• Never leave Wooshka unattended and in case of an emergency, keep a bucket of water in close proximity
to the unit.
• It is also recommended to use heat proof gloves when operating the unit
• It is recommended that you keep young children and pets away from Wooshka.
You may choose to use a re guard or a barrier to keep small children and pets at a safe distance.
