【Disclaimer & Warnings】
Please read the safety instructions carefully before you attempt to
operate your Xpollo XP-1. Make sure that you know your legal rights
and responsibilities as well as the rules on properly using and
operating a drone.
Xpollo XP-1 is a smart nano-drone for taking photos and videos. It's
NOT a toy and should not be operated by anyone who does not fully
understand the risks associated with the operation of an unmanned
aerial vehicle, including but not limited to:
Children under age of 14
Individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs that might impair
a person's ability to safely operate Xpollo XP-1.
Those who suffer from any conditions that could affect their ability to
safely operate Xpollo XP-1.
Additionally, Xpollo XP-1 operators should be especially careful
when operating the product near the above-mentioned individuals.
Improper use and operation of Xpollo XP-1 may result in property
damage, injury, or other undesired consequences. Once you begin
to use and operate this drone, users acknowledge that they have
reviewed, understood, and accepted all terms and conditions within
this document and agree to use the product for its intended use in
accordance with these safety instructions. Any use of Xpollo XP-1
for purposes outside its intended use and is in violation of these
safety instructions or applicable law, shall be at the sole risk and
responsibility of the user.
Xpollo is not reponsible for any direct or indirect injury or property
damage caused by the violations of these safety instructions. Users
should read and regularly refer to these safety instructions and only
operate Xpollo XP-1 in accordance with these instructions.

1. Please ensure that drone flight is in accordance with local laws
and ordinances (including restrictions on licensing and registration
of your Xpollo XP-1). This includes, but is not limited to, restrictions
on:
Altitude
Hours-of-operation
Privacy rights
As well as prohibitions on operating a drone in, near, or around
restricted areas such as:
Airports
High Power Transmission Lines
Public Utility Facilities
Sports Stadiums
Military Facilities
National Parks
2. Improper Flight Environments:
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in crowed areas or around animals. Doing so
may cause bodily and/or property damage.
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in areas or near buildings with no-flying signs.
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in rain, fog, snow, lightning, hail, storm, high
winds, or any other extreme weather environments.
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in areas where atmospheric pressure is
unstable and changes sharply.
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in places where the height/altitude from
ground changes suddenly or dramatically such as flying from the
window of a high building.

Xpollo XP-1 relies on an optical flow sensor and sonar to gauge its
height and position. The following types of environments may
negatively affect the performance of drone:
Extremely dark or extremely bright
Blinking or rapidly changing light conditions
Surfaces with one or more of the following characteristics:
Pure color ground
Reflective or transparent surface
Movement (for example blowing grass, above a crowd,
moving vehicles, etc.)
Strong absorption of sound wave
Sparse or unclear texture
Repetitive textures
Inclines greater than 20°
3. Please carefully read the following points, otherwise the battery
may not be charged or used:
When not using Xpollo XP-1, please remove the
battery from the
drone and charge it separately.
Please use a power adaptor with an output current of 1500mA to
2000mA to connect the single-way or three-way charger for
charging batteries.
4. Warnings
For the best flying experience, please use Xpollo XP-1 in a light
breeze or no wind conditions and operate no more than 20 meters
from the position of the operator.
Do NOT use Xpollo XP-1 outdoors before you are skilled enough to
fly the drone. If you do so, any loss incurred hereby will be at the
user's own expense, for example, losing Xpollo XP-1 during flight.

Snow
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 over water.
Do NOT fly Xpollo XP-1 in areas with strong magnetic fields.

Store or Google Play to download and install the Xpollo XP-1 APP.

Hold the motor while using the prying tool to pry the propeller, and
then align the new propeller with the axle and press in.
【Changing Propellers】
Notes:
1. Please use propellers included in Xpollo XP-1's package.
2. You can see “R” and “L” mark on the propellers. Please fix “R”
propellers on the “R” side of your drone bracket and “L” propellers
on the “L” side of bracket, otherwise your Xpollo XP-1 cannot fly
normally.

【Installing & Removing the Battery】
Installing the Battery: Insert the battery into Xpollo XP-1.

Power OFF: Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn OFF the
drone and the red indicator will turn off.
【Preparing to Fly】
1. If you have a TF card, insert now.
2. Insert a battery into the Xpollo XP-1 and then press the power
button for 3 seconds to turn ON the drone.
3. Please make sure Xpollo XP-1's head faces the operator and place
it in an open and flat area.
4. Please open Xpollo XP-1 APP and
press “Fly”, and then connect the Xpollo XP-1 Wi-Fi using the
information below.

【Inserting TF Card】
If needing to take HD videos or photos, please insert the TF card
into the card slot, as shown below. (The TF card is NOT included in
the package, need to purchase the card separately, maximum
support to 32G.)

Power ON: Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn ON the
drone and the red indicator will turn on.

【Installing Protectors】
Please insert protectors onto the base of the motors as shown below
and ensure they're tight once in position.

The right joystick allows you to control drone movement such as
moving forward, backwards, banking right or left.
The left joystick allows you to control drone altitude such as moving
up and down. Sliding your finger left or right will cause the drone to
spin in that direction.

【Take Off & Landing】
Please press the TAKE OFF icon located in the top right of the flight
interface to either land or take off automatically.
Note: We suggest to land if the battery power is less than 20%.
【Operation Instruction】
Press and slide to the corresponding direction you wish to fly.
【Flight Training】
Please enter the Xpollo XP-1 APP and click “Tutorials” to operate as
instructed via the APP.
* For first-time users, we recommend training your flying skills by
playing “Tutorials”.
【Fly】
Please open the Xpollo XP-1 APP and click “Fly” to operate as
instructed via the APP.
【Calibration】
Please click the ACC calibration icon in the flight interface and follow
the instructions to calibrate.

faces the operator.

【Take Photos & Videos】
Please remember to insert the TF card before taking photos or videos.
To take a photo press located in the center.
To take a video press located to the right of the photo icon.

【Updating Firmware】
To ensure the best flight experience for the user, Xpollo will keep on
optimizing the flight control software.
Please download and install Xpollo XP-1 APP and
immediately check
for updates first before using your drone. Please follow below steps
to update.
Open the Xpollo XP-1 APP Press “Updates” Firmware Update
Start
Important Information:
1. It takes 5 minutes to finish updating the firmware. Please
make sure the TF card is inserted and the battery is fully
charged before updating.
2. Before updating the firmware, the APP needs to download the
latest update from Internet, please do NOT connect to the drone's
Wi-Fi and make sure your smart phone is connected to the Internet.
【Flight Emergency】
1. Xpollo XP-1 will land automatically if the battery is running low.

2. If your Xpollo XP-1 Wi-Fi disconnects, the drone will hover and
wait until your phone is reconnected to Xpollo XP-1 Wi-Fi.
3. For emergency power off, please press for one second.

Xpollo warrants this product to be free of defects in parts, materials
and workmanship for a period of one year, from date of purchase.
Should any repairs or servicie under this warranty be required,
contact Customer Service by phone or email for instructions on how
to pack and ship the product to Xpollo.
