INSTALLING THE HLA
High Level Adapter
This adapter allows you to connect a source unit with speaker
level outputs to your Xtant amplifier
 Identify the output speaker leads from the source unit
 Connect the positive speaker lead to the red wire and the nega
tive speaker lead to the black wire We recommend securing the
connection with solder)
# Repeat step  for all other speaker outputs being used

% Plug the RCA end of the HLA into the amplifier being sure to
connect the right speaker to the right input and the left speaker
to the left input See diagram below
+ Set the BBAALLAANNCCEEDD LLIINNEE switch to the OONN position and turn
the GGAAIINN PPOOTT counterclockwise until it stops
2 Turn on the system With the volume control on the source
unit at #/%4 adjust the gain pot to your desired listening level
