The FL-21002is à high
peribrmance
linearamplifierdesignedfor all Yaesu
HF SSB
transceivef.This amplifier usestwo 5728/T160 transnitting triodesin a ClassAB,
grounded-grid
configuration.Operationon the 160through l0 meterbands
isprovided.
Two quiet internal fansprovide lorced air cooling lbr the final tubes.An intemal change-
over circuit biasesthe tubes to cutoff duÍing receive operation, thereby eliminating
unnecessary
heat and diode noise
generation.
A unique safety ièature incorporated
in the
designof the FL-21002 is a momentàry
bias
delay
circuit,which protects
the tank
circuitry from damageby delayingthe activation of the final tubesuntil the T/R relayis
firmly seated.
An internàl relay connectsthe antenna directly through to the exciter dudng standby
operation, or wllen the amplifier is tumed off. A built-in SWRmeter isalsoincluded,for
monjtoringof thefeedline

The power
supplylor the FL-21002 is built in. lt requiresno warÍnuptime,andits
healy-duty constructionprovides
