Connecting the Plug and Cord
WARNING : THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED IMPORTANT.
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
GREEN-AND-YELLOW : EARTH
BLUE : NEUTRAL
BROWN : LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured GREEN-and-YELLOW must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked by the letter E or by the
safety earth symbol or colored GREEN or GREEN-and- YELLOW.
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
Components having special characteristics are marked and must be replaced with parts having specification equal to those
originally installed.

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE（分解手順）
* When you remove binding ties and such, always install as before removal.
1. Speaker LF (Woofer)
(Time required: About 3 minutes)
1-1 HS8, HS7 :
Remove the six (6) hexagonal socket screws marked
[50A]. The WF ring can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
HS5 :
Remove the four (4) hexagonal socket screws marked
[50A]. The WF ring can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
1-2 HS8, HS7 :
Remove the six (6) screws marked [60]. The speaker LF
(woofer) can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
HS5 :
Remove the four (4) screws marked [60]. The speaker
LF (woofer) can then be removed.(Fig. 1)
* When installing the speaker LF (woofer), match the
position of the terminal to the direction shown by the
""mark.
1-3 Remove the SPOUT connector assembly (red/black)
attached to the speaker LF (woofer) terminal. (Photo 1)
* The speaker LF (woofer) is heavy. Be careful not to drop it.
* When you attach/remove the SPOUT connector
assembly to/from the speaker terminal, be sure to
put pressure in the parallel direction. The speaker
terminal will be broken if you put pressure in another
direction.

 ［50A］の 6 角穴付ネジ 6 本を外し、WF リングを
外します。（図1）
 HS5：
 ［50A］の 6 角穴付ネジ４本を外し、WF リングを
外します。（図1）
1-2 HS8,HS7：
 ［60］のネジ 6 本を外し、スピーカLF（ウーファー）
を外します。（図1）
 HS5：
 ［60］のネジ４本を外し、スピーカLF（ウーファー）
を外します。（図1）
 ※ スピーカLF（ウーファー）を取り付けるときは、端子
の位置を " " 印の方向に合わせてください。（図1）
1-3 スピーカLF（ウーファー）端子に取り付けられて
いる SPOUT 束線（赤／黒）を外します。（写真1）
 ※ スピーカLF（ウーファー）は重量がありますので、落
下させない様に注意してください。
 ※ SPOUT束線をスピーカ端子に取り付けおよび外す際に
は、必ず水平方向に力を加えてください。無理な方向に
力を加えるとスピーカ端子が折れる危険性があります。
※ インシュロックタイなどを外したときは必ず外す前と同じように取付けてください。

2. Speaker HF (Tweeter)
(Time required: About 1 minutes)
2-1 Remove the four (4) hexagonal socket screws marked [50B].
The speaker HF (tweeter) can then be removed. (Fig. 2)
2-2 Remove the SPOUT connector assembly (yellow/blue)
attached to the speaker HF (tweeter) terminal. (Photo 2)
* When you attach/remove the SPOUT connector
assembly to/from the speaker terminal, be sure to
put pressure in the parallel direction. The speaker
terminal will be broken if you put pressure in another
direction.
3. AMP Assembly
(Time required: About 6 minutes)
3-1 Remove the speaker LF (woofer). (See procedure 1.)
3-2 Remove the speaker HF (tweeter). (See procedure 2.)
3-3 Disconnect the connectors of the LED connector
assembly (red/white). (Photo 3)
3-4 Remove the ten (10) screws marked [100] . TheAMP
assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 3)
* When installing the AMP assembly, first tighten the
two (2) priority screws in order as shown in Fig. 3.
4. LED (LEDW) Circuit Board
(Time required: About 10 minutes)
4-1 Remove the speaker LF (woofer). (See procedure 1.)
4-2 Remove the speaker HF (tweeter). (See procedure 2.)
4-3 Remove the AMP assembly. (See procedure 3.)
4-4 Remove the hotmelt. The LED (LEDW) circuit board
can then be removed. (Photo 4)
* When installing the LED (LEDW) circuit board, apply
the hotmelt to the LED (LEDW) circuit board entirely.
4-5 Unsolder the leads of the LED (LEDW) circuit board .
The
LED circuit board and LED connector assembly can
then be separated. (Fig. 3)
2. スピーカHF（ツイーター）
 （所要時間：約 1 分）
2-1 ［50B］のの 6 角穴付ネジ 4 本を外し、スピーカ
HF（ツイーター）を外します。（図2）
2-2 スピーカHF（ツイーター）端子に取り付けられ
ている SPOUT束線（黄／青）を外します。（写真 2）
 ※ SPOUT束線をスピーカ端子に取り付けおよび外す際に
は、必ず水平方向に力を加えてください。無理な方向に
力を加えるとスピーカ端子が折れる危険性があります。
3. アンプAss'y（所要時間：約 6 分）
3-1 スピーカ LF（ウーファー）を外します。（1 項参照）
3-2 スピーカ HF（ツイーター）を外します。（2 項参照）
3-3 LED 束線のコネクターを外します。（写真 3）
3-4 ［100］のネジ 10 本を外し、アンプAss'y を外します。

 ※ アンプAss'y を取り付けるときには、優先ネジ 2 本を図
に示す順で先に締めてください。（図3）
4. LED（LEDW）シート（所要時間：約 10 分）
4-1 スピーカ LF（ウーファー）を外します。（1 項参照）
4-2 スピーカ HF（ツイーター）を外します。（2 項参照）
4-3 アンプAss'y を外します。（3 項参照）
4-4 ホットメルトを取り除き、LED（LEDW）シート
を取り外します。( 写真4)
 ※ LED（LEDW）シートを取り付けるときには、ホットメ
ルトを LED（LEDW）シート全体に塗布します。
4-5 LED（LEDW）シートのリードのハンダ付け部か
らハンダを取り除き、LED シートと LED 束線を
別けます。（図 3）

Disassembly of AMP Assembly
* Before disassembly, remove the AMP assembly in
advance. (See procedure 3 on page 8)
5. AMP Circuit Board
(Time required: About 8 minutes)
5-1 Remove binding tie (A) and (B). Disconnect the
connector assemblies from the connector CN202 (4P)
of the TR circuit board. (Fig. 4)
* Install as before binding tie (A) and (B) was removed.

5. AMP シート
 （所要時間：約 8 分）
5-1 インシュロックタイ（A）とインシュロックタイ（B）
を外し、TR シートのコネクター CN202(4P) から
束線を外します。（図 4）
 ※ 取付けるときには、インシュロックタイ（A）とインシュ
ロックタイ（B）を取り外す前と同じように取り付けて
ください。（図4）

5-2 HS8, HS7 :
Remove the five (5) screws marked [300A]. The AMP
circuit board can then be removed together with the
heatsink 8B. (Fig. 5-1)
* When installing the AMP circuit board with the
heatsink 8B, first tighten the two (2) priority screws
in order as shown in Fig. 5-1.
* Be careful not to drop it.
HS5 :
Remove the three (3) screws marked [300B]. TheAMP
circuit board can then be removed together with the
heatsink 5B. (Fig. 5-2)
5-3 Remove the two (2) screws marked [80] and the four
(4) screws marked [130]. The heatsink 8B (HS8, HS7)
/ 5B (HS5) can then be removed from the AMP circuit
board. (Fig. 6)
5-4 Unsolder the leads of the AMP circuit board. The
AMP circuit board and IC (POWER AMP) can then be
separated. (Fig. 6)
5-2 HS8,HS7：
 ［300A］のネジ 5 本を外し、ヒートシンク 8B と共
に AMP シートを取り外します。（図5-1）
 ※ ヒートシンク 8B 付き AMP シートを取り付けるときに
は、優先ネジ 2 本を図に示す順で先に締めてください。

 ※ 落下させない様に注意してください。
 HS5：
 ［300B］のネジ 3 本を外し、ヒートシンク 5B と共
に AMP シートを取り外します。（図5-2）
5-3 ［80］ の ネ ジ 2 本 と［130］のネジ4 本を外し、
AMP シートからヒートシンク 8B(HS8,HS7)/5B
(HS5)を外します。（図6）
5-4 AMP シートのハンダ付け部からハンダを取り除
き、AMP シートと IC（POWERAMP）を別けます。

6. IN Circuit Board
(Time required: About 8 minutes)
6-1 Remove the knob volumeA, the hexagonal nut (A), the
washer and the hexagonal nut (B) from the rear panel
side. (Fig. 7)
6-2 Remove the four (4) screws marked [290]. The IN
circuit board can then be removed together with the
case PWB assembly. (Fig. 7)
* When installing the IN circuit board, first tighten the
priority screws as shown in Fig. 7.
6-3 Remove the three (3) screws marked [170]. The IN
circuit board and case PWB assembly can then be
separated. (Fig. 8)
* When installing the case PWB assembly, first tighten
the priority screws as shown in Fig. 8.
6. IN シート（所要時間：約 8 分）
6-1 リアパネルからノブボリューム A、六角ナット（A）、
ワッシャー、六角ナット（B）を外します。（図7）
6-2 ［290］のネジ 4 本を外し、ケース PWB 組立と共
に IN シートを外します。（図7）
 ※ IN シートを取り付けるときには、優先ネジを図に示す
方を先に締めてください。（図7）
6-3 ［170］ の ネ ジ 3 本 を 外 し、IN シ ー トとケース
PWB 組立を別けます。（図8）
 ※ ケース PWB 組立を取り付けるときには、優先ネジを図
に示す方を先に締めてください。（図8）

7. TR Circuit Board, Power Transformer
(Time required: About 8 minutes)
7-1 Remove the four (4) screws marked [310]. The TR circuit
board can then be removed together with the power
transformer. (HS8, HS7: Fig. 9-1)(HS5: Fig. 9-2)
* When installing the TR circuit board and power
transformer, first tighten the two (2) priority screws
in order as shown in Fig. 9.
7-2 Unsolder the leads of the power transformer. The
TR circuit board and power transformer can then be
separated. (Fig. 10)
7. TR シート、電源トランス（所要時間：約 8 分）
7-1 ［310］のネジ 4 本を外し、電源トランスと共に
TR シートを外します。
 （HS8,HS7：図9-1）（HS5：図9-2）
 ※ TR シート、電源トランスを取り付けるときには、優先
ネジ 2 本を図に示す順で先に締めてください。（図9）
7-2 電源トランスのリードのハンダ付け部分からハン
ダを取り除き、TR シートと電源トランスを別け
ます。（図 10）

8. PSW Connector Assembly, AC Circuit Board
(Time required: About 8 minutes)
8-1 Remove the PSW connector assembly soldered to the AC
circuit board and the GND connector assembly soldered
to the AC inlet. (Fig. 11)
8-2 Remove the power switch of the PSW connector assembly
by pressing its claws.(Fig. 11)
* When installing the power switch, install so that the
white marking faces as shown in Fig. 12.
8-3 Remove the two (2) screws marked [305]. The AC circuit
board can then be removed. (Fig. 12)
8-4 Straighten the two claws of the bracketAC inlet and remove
the bracketAC inlet from the AC circuit board. (Fig. 13)
8. PSW 束線、AC シート（所要時間：約 8 分）
8-1 AC シートにハンダ付けされている PSW 束線と
AC インレットにハンダ付けされている GND 束線
を外します。（図11）
