Safety Notice
Please read ‘Safety Notice’ before
using YK-4000 for a proper use.
WARNING
CAUTION
There may be a risk of death or serious injury
when ignoring the indicated sign shown on left.
Ignoring ‘Safety Notice’ and improper operation of this
machine may cause a serious personal injury or prop-
erty damage.
There can be a cause of potential fire or electric shock when
operating this machine under smoke, weird noise or smell.
Please turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord
immediately to prevent further serious damage. Consult with the
service center for any repair needs.
DO NOT attempt to service this product yourself as opening or
removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other
hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel for any
repair or disassemble needs.
If the unit is exposed to water or any flammable materials, turn off
the power switch immediately and unplug the power cord. Consult
with the service center for any repair needs.
If the unit is dropped or its cover case is damaged, turn off the power
switch immediately and unplug the power cord. DO NOT use the
machine as broken, it may cause fire or potential electric shock
If there’s an indication of the power cord getting heat up or the main
unit turns off and on, please turn off the machine completely and
unplug the cord. It may cause a fire or electric shock if constantly
used in above condition.
All power cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be
walked on or pinched by heavy items upon or against them. Open
cut on the cord may cause a fire or electric shock.

If the power cord is damaged (open cut or cutted,) replace
the power cord immediately to prevent from a fire or electric shock.
DO NOT twist, bend hard, burn, pull hard, or damage
the power cord. It may cause a fire or electric shock.
Only use the item under its indicated voltage. It may cause an
electric shock if used over or below its indicated voltage.
DO NOT place the item on the surface where it may fall.
Make sure children are not abusing the product. It may
cause serious personal injury or damage.
Be careful when using this product under snowy, rainy,
or moistened area. It may cause an electric shock.
DO NOT touch the power cord with moistened hands. It may
cause an electric shock.
DO NOT place the item exposed of dusts or moist.
It may cause a fire or electric shock.
DO NOT place the item exposed of oils or moistures;
such as burner or humidifier. It may cause a fire or electric shock.
Place the item in a ventilated area and try to avoid the following:
* Storing the item upside down or sideways.
* Storing the item where no ventilation exists such as closet.
After thunder or lightening shock, DO NOT touch the power
cord. It may cause an electric shock.

DO NOT place the item under a direct heat from the sun light.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning. It may
cause a fire when accumulated.
DO NOT operate this machine under a weird noise for a long period
of time. It may blow out the speakers.
DO NOT put heavy items or lean on the product. It may damage
the item.
DO NOT pull the power cord to disconnect it. It may damage the
cord and cause fire.
Please unplug the power cord from its wall outlet before cleaning
the unit. It will prevent the electric shock.
For safety reason, please unplug the power cord when the unit is
not in use for a long period of time.
It is highly recommended to plug the power cord directly to
the wall outlet without using any extensions. It will reduce the
chance of causing fire.
Please disconnect all wires, cables, and cords before moving the
unit to another place. Do not place the unit close to the heated area
for it may cause a fire by melting the cords close to it.

Read instructions on how to connect
rst before connecting your YK-4000.
Turn off the power before insert/remove additional song pack. It
may damage the data saved on song pack if inserted/removed
while power is on.
Never make or change connections with the power switch on.
Do not disassemble or convert MyStage. It may cause perma-
nent damage to the unit, and electric shock or burning hazard
to the user.
Do not use MyStage near electric induction sources (i.e. micro-
wave). It may cause noise and howling.
Avoid dust, oil residue, excessive physical power on connection
of connection cord terminal and connector types. It may cause
loose contact or contact failure.

Connecting TV
Connect AV cord to the RCA jack terminal on your TV.
After everything is connected properly, plug in the AC power cord
to the power outlet.
Turn TV on and select menu for remote control of other optional
video sources (VCD, DVD, VIDEO1 or 2). Read user’s manual of
TV for detail.
Turn MyStage on.
When the logo display appears on the TV screen, there must be a
theme song coming up within ten seconds after.
*Use the composite cable (yellow) to connect the yellow RCA jack
to the other RCA jack terminal of your TV. *Caution: The video may
be faded or out if cable is not connected properly.
*Use the audio cables (white/red) to connect AUDIO OUT (L/R)
jacks of the MyStage to the corresponding AUDIO IN jacks on the
stereo. For mono TV, there is only white cord.

Connecting TV & Audio
TV’s video input terminal (composite video) is indicated in yellow
color located on either back of the TV or on the side. Please con-
nect it with the main unit’s video jack (yellow male jack.)
Then, connect the two red & white male jack from the main unit’s
A/V Cable to the Audio System’s audio input terminal (Audio In) in
their matching colors (red & white.)
Turn both TV and Audio System on.
Turn both TV and Audio System’s Input Source Channel to the cor-
rect channel and test to see if everything comes up properly.
When the logo display appears on the TV screen, there must be a

Please check to make sure wires are properly connected for its best
performance.
Please purchase any extra A/V Extension Cable if necessary.

Choose Songs
Using up/down button or search button, or
press song’s own number found in list.
Press button to start playing, press but-
ton again to pause.
To stop playing, press “STOP” button.
Performance of MyStage may be affected by own function of
your TV. Please turn off the function “Automatic Level Control”
(AVL/AVC : This function may be shown as different words,
please check your TV manual for detail) on your TV set. It may
cause excessively low volume if ALC function is on.
* ALC function
Automatic volume leveling function to protect your hearing from
noise attack.

When press this key on display mode, changes to song search mode.
Control using numeric keys and up/down key (For details, check the
bottom of screen).
9Reservation
Reserve songs to be played next. Find song number from song list,
press number using numeric keys, then press RES button to com-
plete. Reserved song title and singer will be displayed on upper corner
of screen. To cancel reservation, press the song number again, then
press RES button again, or choose the song to be canceled on re-
served list, then press RES button.

There’s no power on the main unit.
There’s no sound from either the main unit or TV.
There’s no video from either the main unit or TV.
Songs cannot neither be played nor selected.
Power turns off automatically.
Please check if the power cord is connected properly to either the wall
outlet or the main unit itself.
Try to turn up the volume from either the main unit or TV.
Please check connection of the RCA cable if properly connected to
the TV from the main unit. Please check if the input mode is properly
selected.
Please check the song numbers again to make sure the numbers are
correctly inputted. Please reserve songs from its main song list pro-
vided only.
This machine turns off automatically after 10 minutes when not in
used.

How to connect Sub Wired Microphone
Song Packs are available to add more songs to the unit.
Two people may sing simultaneously.
Please turn off the power before inserting a Song Pack.
1. Please remove the back cover pushed downward.
2. Please insert a Song Pack with the arrow positioned upward.
(You may insert up to 4 Song Packs)
3. When finished installing Song Packs,
please follow the order of Number 1 in reverse way.
Connect male part of the cord from Sub Wired Microphone to
female part of the cord from the main unit.

Please use dried towel to wipe the exterior of
the product only. DO NOT disassemble nor use
alcohol to clean the product.

Use only dried towels to wipe out the chemicals. Please contact the
local dealer if the stain is severe.
If the unit is damaged physically while in-use, please contact the local
dealer for repair.
Use dried towels to wipe the liquid first, and then finish wiping them
out by using wetted towels. If liquids are unverifiable whether they
went inside of the unit or not, please contact the local dealer for help.
Please store the unit out of moistures and heat. It may damage the
unit. It is highly recommended to store the unit inside the ventilated
area.
When you need an assistance with solving an issue with the product, please
contact the store where you originally purchased the product first.
If you still cannot resolve a product related issue,
please follow the instruction below.
