2ConnectingtheRPMsensor
Connectthe RPM sensorto the pluglocated
onthefrontpanel.
3ConnectingtheMotorPlug.
AttachtheMotorPlugtothemotorshaft.
※Makesure to attachthe Motor Plugcorrectlyto
preventitfromfallingoffwhilespinning.
4SwitchandOuputDialcheck
Make sure that the RPM field in the display
reads[STP] (indicates outputoff state). If
theRPM field reads[000], press the'START/
STOP'button to switchit to [STP]. Turn the
OutputDial fully leftto turn downthe output
voltageto0V.
※Please make sureto set thedial to 0Vto prevent
themotor from suddenlyspinning when themotor
cablesareconnected.

AttachtheMotorCablestothemotor.
※Securelyattachtheclips.
※Makesurethatthepolarityiscorrectwhenconnecting
theclipstopreventdamagetothemotor.Connecting
theclipsinreversemaycausetheinternalprotection
circuittocutoffpower.

Pleaseholdthemotortightly.
※Themotorwillexertagoodamountofrotatingforce
whenspinning. Pleasemake sure tohold onto the
motortightly.
※Themotorwillbuildupheatwhenspinning,andmay
getextremelyhot.
7START&STOP
Pressthe 'START/STOP' buttonand turn the
dialto the right. Once themotor begins to
spin,adjust the dialto the desiredvoltage.
Themotor's current drawand condition willbe
displayed.
Pressingthe 'START/STOP'buttononce more
willcut power tothe motor andthe motor will
stopspinning.
8Checkingmotorcondition
TheConditionGraphindicatestheconditionof
themotor.
Arapidly fluctuating bargraph indicates a
motorin bad condition. Ifthegraph isstable
andshows little movement,the motor isin
goodcondition.
9MeasuringRPM
Positionthe RPM Sensorabout 5mm away
fromtheMotorPlug.TheRPMwillbedisplayed
onthe screen. Multiply the displayedRPM
numberby100toobtaintheactualRPM.
※If the RPMis not displayedon the screen,slightly
changethe position ofthe sensor togeta better
readingfromtheplug.
