General information
This appliance is esigne for the refrigeration of foo
in a omestic home. It has a four-star frozen foo
compartment for ice making an frozen foo storage.
To ensure correct operation, the appliance shoul
be locate where the ambient temperature is
between 16-32 °C.

Using the Appliance
Before Use
Remove all securing tapes.
Wash the insi e of the appliance with lukewarm water
with a little bicarbonate of so a a e (5 ml to 0,5 litre
of water). Do not use soap or etergent as the smell
may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Do not use detergents, abrasive powders,
highly perfumed cleaning products, wax
polishes or products containing alcohol.
FFTo Start the Appliance
1. Allow the appliance to stan for 2 hrs after
installation.
2. Plug in the appliance an switch on at the mains
supply.
3. Turn the thermostat control to the require setting.
A setting of 3 - 4 is usually suitable for normal
operation (see thermostat control).
4. Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours for
the correct temperature to be reache before
placing foo insi e.

regulates the temperature of the lar er compartment.

How to use the four-star frozen
food compartment
The frozen foo compartment is separate from the
fresh foo compartment.
Place the foo to be frozen into this compartment.
Depen ing on the position of the thermostatic control
knob an the temperature in the compartment
(-18 °C or lower), frozen foo can be store here.
Do not allow fresh foo to come into contact with
foo s that are alrea y frozen.
How to make ice cubes
Fill the supplie ice cube tray ¾full with water an
place in the freezer compartment. Turning up the
thermostat control will spee up the freezing process,
but remember to turn the thermostat control back to
its original position.
To release the ice cubes, twist the tray along its
length.
Do not use sharp or pointe items to remove a frozen
ice cube tray from the freezer compartment.
Storage Shelves
The shelves in the refrigerator compartment are
a justable to allow storage of large items.
The shelves can be re-arrange by opening the oor
to 90°.
The oor shelves are also a justable.
To allow the air to circulate within the fri ge
compartment o not cover the wire shelves
with paper or trays.

When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being
pumpe roun an you will hear a whirring soun or
pulsating noise from the compressor.

hear a faint 'click' when the thermostat cuts in an
out.
Food Storage
To obtain the best performance from your appliance:
Do not store warm foo or evaporating liqui .
Avoi buying frozen foo if you cannot store it
straight away. The use of an insulate container is
a visable. When you arrive home, place the frozen
foo in the freezer compartment imme iately.
Do not push foo together too much.
Do not store foo uncovere .
Ensure that foo place in the freezer compartment

ensure that foo is consume at its best.

Wrap the foo in polythene or aluminium freezing

quality. Partially thawe foo must not be refrozen,
it must be consume within 24 hours. Never

manufacturer.

Do not install the appliance close to sources of
heat, such as a boiler or ra iator.
Locate the appliance in a cool well ventilate
room an make sure that the air openings of the
appliance are not obstructe .
Avoi unnecessary frosting in the cabinet by
packing all foo stuffs into airtight packages
before placing them in the freezer compartment.

4. When efrosting is complete , clean an ry
thoroughly.
Turn the thermostat knob to a me ium position
to restart the appliance.
After letting the appliance run for at least half an
hour replace the previously remove foo into
the **** -star compartment.
When efrosting it is not necessary to remove
the foo s from the inner oor an the
refrigerator compartment.
Important
A temperature rise of the frozen foo packs
uring efrosting may shorten their storage life.
Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost
from the evaporator as you coul amage it

Defrosting

progressively covere with frost.

(1/4).
To carry out complete efrosting procee as follows:
1. Remove any foo from insi e the ****-star
compartment, wrap it in several sheets of
newspaper an store in a cool ry place.
2. Turn the thermostat knob to position << 0 >>. To
accelerate efrosting, place a bowl of hot water
insi e the compartment (with a piece of car boar
un erneath the bowl as protection).
3. Remove any loose pieces of ice as soon as
possible.
