retained with the appliance for future reference. Should
the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or
should you move house and leave the appliance, always
ensure that the book is left with the appliance in order that
the new owner can get to know the functioning of the
appliance and the relevant safety information.

safety. You MUST read it carefully before installing or
using the appliance.
Installation

connect a damaged machine. If yo r dishwasher is

●For safety reasons it is dangero s to alter the specifications
or attempt to modify this prod ct in any way.
●Any electrical and pl mbing work req ired to install this
appliance sho ld be carried o t by a q alified and
competent person.
●Care m st be taken to ens re that the appliance does not
stand on the electrical s pply cable.
●The sides of the dishwasher m st never be drilled to
prevent damage to hydra lic components.
Child safety
●This appliance is designed to be operated by ad lts.
●Children sho ld not be allowed to tamper with the controls
or play with the prod ct.
●Packaging parts may be dangero s for children, who co ld
even be s ffocated! Yo sho ld therefore keep all
packaging well away from children.
●The water in yo r dishwasher is not for drinking. Detergent
resid es may still be present in yo r machine. Keep
children well away from yo r dishwasher when the door is
open.
●Keep all detergents in a safe place o t of children's reach.
Your dishwasher in day-to-day use
●Items that are contaminated by petrol, paint, steel or iron
debris, corrosive, acidic or alkaline chemicals m st not be
washed in this dishwasher.
●Under no circ mstances sho ld yo open the door whilst
the appliance is in operation, especially d ring the washing
phase, hot water may escape. However, if the door is
opened, a safety device ens res that the machine stops.
●Only se prod cts (detergent, salt and rinse aid) specifically
designed for se in dishwashers.
●Long bladed knives stored in an pright position are a
potential hazard.
●Long and/or sharp items of c tlery s ch as carving knives
m st be positioned horizontally in the pper basket.
●When finishing loading or nloading close the door, as an
open door can be a hazard.
●Do not sit or stand on the open door.
●Isolate the appliance from the power s pply and t rn off the
water s pply after se.
●This prod ct sho ld be serviced by an a thorised service
engineer, and only gen ine spare parts sho ld be sed.
●Under no circ mstances sho ld yo attempt to repair the
machine yo rself. Repairs carried o t by inexperienced
persons may ca se inj ry or serio s malf nctioning.

Disposal
Dispose of the dishwasher packaging material correctly.
All packaging materials can be recycled.
Plastic parts are marked with standard international
abbreviations:
>PE< for polyethylene, e.g. sheet wrapping material.
>PS< for polystyrene, e.g. padding material (always CFC-
free).
>POM< for polyoxymethylene, e.g. plastic clips.
Cardboard packaging is man fact red from recycled paper
and sho ld be deposited in the waste paper collection for
recycling.
As and when yo cease to se yo r dishwasher and withdraw
it from service, yo r sho ld render it nserviceable before
having it disposed of.
Warning! Children at play co ld lock themselves in yo r
dishwasher or otherwise endanger their lives. Therefore c t off
the power s pply cable and make the door closing device
n sable to prevent children from being trapped inside.
For the disposing of the appliance please take it to a recycling
centre or to yo r dealer who will, for a small contrib tion to the
costs, dispose it for yo .

This option is sef l and economical when only a few
dishes need washing.
The prewash phase is a tomatically eliminated when this
option is chosen.
When this option is selected the corresponding
indicator light comes on.
Remember to load all the dishes into both baskets.

By pressing this p sh b tton yo can opt to:

and the complete "T rbo" drying phase (eco dry)
2. red ce the temperat re of the water in the last rinse
and eliminate the "T rbo" drying phase (no dry)
The indicator light corresponding to the selection will
come on.

If both indicator lights are off, the normal drying phase
will be carried o t, this means that there will be no
red ction of the temperat re in the last rinse and the
complete "T rbo" drying phase is active.
With the selection of programme 6 (Bio 50°C with
prewash) the eco dry option is a tomatically selected.
It is, however, possible to excl de this option or to select
no dry by pressing the "drying options" p sh b tton.

Before sing yo r dishwasher for the first time:
1. Ens re that the electrical and water connections comply
with the installation instr ctions.
2. Remove all packaging from inside the appliance.
3. Set the water softener.
4. Po r 1 litre of water inside the salt container and then fill
with salt.
5. Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
6. R n a "Rinse and Hold" programme.
Setting the water softener
The dishwasher is eq ipped with a water softener designed to
remove minerals and salts from the water s pply, which wo ld
have a detrimental or adverse effect on the operation of the
appliance.
The higher the content of these salts, the harder yo r water is.
Water hardness is meas red in eq ivalent scales, German
degrees, French degrees and PPM (parts per Million).
The softener sho ld be adj sted according to the hardness of
the water in yo r area. Yo r local Water A thority can advise
yo on the hardness of the water in yo r area.
The dishwasher is factory set at level 4.
If yo r water is level 0 it is already soft and therefore there is
no need to se salt.
With the setting of the water softener at level 0 the salt
indicator light on the control panel will always remain off.
Use salt from level 1 pwards.
The adjustment of the water softener is possible only with
the machine in setting mode.
9. "Delay start" push button
Allows the start of the programme to be delayed by a
minim m of 1 ho r, p to 12 ho rs.
10. "Cancel" push button

Audible signals
A dible signals have been introd ced to help indicate which
operations the dishwasher is performing.
Short "instruction accepted" signal
When any of the p sh b ttons are pressed (except the
On/Off p sh b tton), a short a dible signal informs yo that
the machine has accepted the instr ction given.
Long "programme run" signal
A contin o s a dible signal informs yo , once the door is
closed, that the washing programme is starting.
Intermittent "end of programme" signal
An intermittent a dible signal informs yo that the wash
programme has ended.
"Alarm" intermittent signal
The machine is fitted with a n mber of alarm systems to help
yo determine the ca se of any problems.
An intermittent a dible signal for abo t 15 seconds informs
yo that an alarm is activated.
To deactivate these audible signals, press sim ltaneo sly
and keep pressed both "programme selection" and "drying
options" p sh b ttons for abo t 3 seconds. D ring this time
an intermittent a dible signal is heard at the end of which the
a dible signals are deactivated.
To reactivate these audible signals, press sim ltaneo sly
and keep pressed both "programme selection" and "drying
options" p sh b ttons for abo t 3 seconds. D ring this time
no a dible signal is heard. At the end of the 3 seconds an
intermittent a dible signal starts, informing yo that the a dible
signals have been reactivated.
Both operations (to deactivate or reactivate the audible
signals) can be carried out before starting a washing
programme or during a washing programme.
The setting will remain memorised after switching off the
dishwasher.

To select a different level proceed as
follows:
1. With the machine switched on, press "half load" and
"drying options" p sh b ttons sim ltaneo sly for abo t 5
seconds. In the m lti-display appears an L followed by a
n mber (e.g. L 4) which corresponds to the c rrent level.
2. Press within 5 seconds the "drying options" p sh b tton
(no dry indicator light flashes) ntil the req ired level
appears in the m lti-display. The level increases by 1 each
time the p sh b tton is pressed.
3. 5 seconds after the "drying options" p sh b tton has last
been pressed, the dishwasher memorises the level
selected and ret rns to the programme setting mode.
The setting will remain memorised after switching off the
dishwasher.
Filling with salt
Special salt can be added in one of two ways:
●If yo are sing dishwasher detergent that already contains
salt, the detergent incl ding the salt is placed in the
detergent compartment.
- In this case the water softener m st be set to 0, to
ens re that the special salt is taken from the detergent
container only.
●If yo are sing dishwasher detergent and salt separately,
the special salt is to be p t into the salt container.
- In this case the water softener m st be set between 1
and 9 (depending on the water hardness in yo r area) to
ens re that the special salt is taken from the detergent
container only.
Only use salt specifically designed for use in
dishwashers.
All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in
a dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water
softener.
Only fill with salt just before starting one of the washing
programmes (not the inse and hold programme).
This will prevent any grains of salt or salty water, which
may have been spilt, remaining on the bottom of the
machine for any period of time, which may cause
corrosion.
To fill:
1. Open the door, remove the lower basket and nscrew the
cap of the salt container.
2. Po r 1 litre of water inside the container (this is necessary
only before filling with
salt for the first time).
3. Using the f nnel provided,
po r in the salt ntil the
container is f ll.
4. Replace the cap making
s re that there is no trace
of salt on the screw thread
or on the gasket.
5. Screw on the cap tightly.
The salt container will req ire topping p periodically. Yo are
reminded of this by the salt indicator light on the control panel
which comes on when the salt has finished.
In case salt refilling is necessary, d ring the r n of the
programme the salt indicator light will remain off. Only with the
door open and the machine switched on it will ill minate.
The salt indicator light on the control panel can remain
illuminated for 2-6 hours after the salt has been
replenished, assuming the dishwasher remains switched
on. If you are using salts that take longer to dissolve then
this can take longer. The function of the machine is not
affected.
Do not worry if water over flows from the nit when filling with
salt, this is q ite normal.
inse aid
Rinse aid is a tomatically added d ring the last rinse, ens ring
thoro gh rinsing, and spot and streak free drying. The
dispenser, which is positioned inside the door, holds abo t 110
ml of rinse aid, which is s fficient for 16 - 40 dishwashing
programmes, depending pon the dosage setting.
inse aid can be added in one of two ways:
●If yo are sing dishwasher detergent that already contains
rinse aid, the detergent incl ding the rinse aid is placed in
the detergent compartment.
- In this case the rinse aid compartment m st be empty.
If in the rinse aid dispenser there is still rinse aid yo
m st wait ntil it has finished before sing detergent that
contains rinse aid. In this case the rinse aid indicator light
on the control panel will always remain ill minated.
●If yo are sing dishwasher detergent and rinse aid
separately, the rinse aid is to be p t into the rinse aid
dispenser.
- In this case the rinse aid dosage m st be set in position
from 1 to 6 (see "Adj sting the dose") and the rinse aid
indicator light activated.
Filling with rinse aid
1. Open the container by t rning the lid (A) anticlockwise.
2. Add the rinse aid ntil the container is completely f ll. The
indicator (B) will be completely dark.
3. Top p with rinse aid when the rinse aid indicator light on
the control panel ill minates.
Ensure that the lid is closed after every refill.
Clean p any rinse aid spilt d ring filling with an absorbent
cloth to avoid excess foaming d ring the next wash.
Use only branded rinse aid for dishwashers. Never fill the rinse
aid dispenser with any other s bstances (e.g. dishwasher
cleaning agent, liq id detergent). This wo ld damage the
appliance.

Top p the rinse aid when the rinse aid indicator light on the
control panel ill minates.
In case rinse aid refilling is necessary, d ring the r n of the
programme the rinse aid indicator light will remain off. Only
with the door open and the machine switched on it will
ill minate.
Adjusting the dose
According to the finish and drying res lts obtained, adj st the
dose of rinse aid by means of the 6 position selector (C)
(position 1 minim m dosage,
position 6 maxim m dosage).
Increase the dose if there are
drops of water or lime spots
on the dishes after washing.
Red ce it if there are sticky
whitish streaks on the dishes.

●Check if it’s necessary to refill with special salt or rinse aid
●Load c tlery and dishes into the dishwasher.
●Fill with dishwasher detergent .
●Select a wash programme s itable for the c tlery and
dishes.
●Start the wash programme.
Loading cutlery and dishes
Sponges, household cloths and any object that can
absorb water may not be washed in the dishwasher.
●Before loading the dishes, yo sho ld:
- Remove large left-overs.
- Soften remnants of b rnt food in pans
●When loading the dishes and c tlery, please note:
- Dishes and c tlery m st not impede the rotation of the
spray arms .
- Load hollow items s ch as c ps, glasses, pans, etc. with
the opening downwards so that water cannot collect in the
container or a deep base.
- Dishes and items of c tlery m st not lie inside one
another, or cover each other.
- To avoid damage to glasses, they m st not to ch.
- Lay small objects in the c tlery basket.
In daily use
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery/dishes
are of limited suitability:
- Only wash stoneware in the dishwasher if it is specifically
marked as being dishwasher-safe by the man fact rer.
- Glazed patterns may fade if machine washed freq ently
- Silver and al mini m parts have a tendency to discolo r
d ring washing. Left-overs, e.g. egg white, egg yolk and
m stard often ca se discolo ring and staining on silver.
Therefore always clean left-overs from silver immediately, if
it is not to be washed straight after se.
- Some types of glass can become d ll after a large n mber
of washes
are not suitable:
C tlery with wooden, horn, china or
mother-of-pearl handles
- Plastic items that are not heat resistant
- Older c tlery with gl ed parts that is not
temperat re resistant
- Bonded c tlery items or dishes
- Pewter or copper items
- Lead crystal glass
- Steel items s bject to r sting
- Wooden platters
- Items made from synthetic fibres

Open the door and slide o t the baskets to load the dishes.
The lower basket
The lower basket is designed to take sa cepans, lids, plates,
salad bowls, c tlery etc.
Serving dishes and large lids sho ld be arranged aro nd the
edge of the basket, ens ring that the pper spray arm can t rn
freely.
The rows of prongs on the lower basket can be easily lowered
to allow yo to load pots, pans and bowls.
To lower the prongs:
- Slightly p ll them pward and let them drop down
(see pict re).
- To bring them back to the standing position, j st p ll them p
again.
The cutlery basket
Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a
potential hazard.
Long and/or sharp items of cutlery such as carving knives
must be positioned horizontally in the upper basket.
Take care when loading or unloading sharp items such as
knives.

be placed horizontally in the removable knife basket, which is
positioned at the rear of the pper basket.
C tlery sho ld be placed in the removable c tlery basket with
the handles facing downwards. If the handles protr de from
the bottom of the basket, obstr cting the lower spray arm, load
the c tlery with the handles facing pwards.
Mix spoons with other c tlery
to prevent them from sticking
together.

The c tlery basket is in two
parts which can be separated
to give greater loading
flexibility. To separate the two
parts, slide them horizontally
in opposite directions and

The upper basket
The pper basket is designed for plates (dessert plates,
sa cers, dinner plates of p to 25 cm in diameter), salad
bowls, c ps and glasses.
Arrange items on and
nderneath the c p racks so
that water can reach all

be placed pside down in the

Light items (plastic bowls
etc.) m st be loaded in the
pper basket and arranged
so they do not move.
In case that plates are loaded in the upper
basket:
load them starting from the
rear positions of the
basket; tilting them slightl
forwards and avoiding the
front positions near the
door.
Before closing the door, ensure that the spray arms can
rotate freely.
Adjusting the height of the upper basket
If washing very large plates yo can load them in the lower
basket after moving the pper basket to the higher position.
To move to the higher position proceed as
follows:
1. P ll o t the basket ntil it stops.
2. Caref lly lift both sides pwards ntil the mechanism is
engaged and the basket is stable.
Important!
Never lift or lower the
basket on one side onl .
To lower the basket to the original position
proceed as follows:
1. P ll o t the basket ntil it stops.
2. Caref lly lift both sides pwards and then allow the
mechanism to drop back slowly, keeping hold of it.
After loading your machine always close the door, as an
open door can be a hazard.

Use of detergent
Only use detergents specifically designed for use in
dishwashers.
Using no more then the correct amount of detergent
contributes to reducing pollution.
Fill with detergent
Prior to the start of a wash programme. The detergent is
released d ring the washing phase.
Please observe the man fact rer’s dosing and storage
recommendations as stated on the detergent packaging.
1. Open the dispenser by p lling the catch (D).
2. Fill the detergent dispenser with detergent.
The marking indicates the dosing levels:
Min = approximately 15 g of detergent
Max = approximately 30 g of detergent
3. Close the lid and press ntil it locks in place.
For all programmes with prewash, an additional detergent
dose (5 g) m st be placed over the lid of the dispenser.
This detergent will take effect d ring the prewash phase
With programme 2 (Intensive
70°C), the additional

Important!
If the "half load" option has been selected, remember that the
prewash phase is a tomatically excl ded. In this case the dose
of detergent for the prewash phase is no longer necessary.
Use of "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets
General advice
These prod cts are tablets with combined detergent/rinse-aid
and salt f nctions.
1. Before sing these prod cts yo sho ld first check that the
water hardness in yo r s pply is compatible with the se of
these prod cts as per the detergent man fact rers (on the
prod ct packaging).
2. These prod cts sho ld be strictly sed according to the
detergent man fact rers instr ctions.
Do not place the tablets in the tub or in the cutlery
basket as this will result in poorer wash results. The
tablets should be placed in the detergent dispenser.
3. If yo enco nter problems when sing 3 in 1 prod cts for
the first time then please contact the detergent
man fact rers care line (the telephone n mber is given on
the prod ct packaging).
Special advice
When sing combination prod cts, the rinse-aid and salt
indicators are no longer sef l. It may be helpf l therefore to
switch the rinse aid off - please note that only some
dishwashers have this facility - and select the lowest possible
setting for water hardness.
For more information please refer to the instr ction man al.
If yo decide to t rn back to the se of the standard detergent
system we advise that yo :
●Refill both the salt container and rinse aid dispenser.
●Switch the water hardness setting to the highest possible
position and r n a normal washing programme witho t a
load.
●Readj st the water hardness setting again according to the
hardness of the water in yo r area.
Concentrated detergent
Based on their chemical composition, dishwasher detergents
can be split into two basic types:
- conventional, alkaline detergents with ca stic components.
- low alkaline concentrated detergents with nat ral enzymes.
The se of 50°C washing programmes in conj nction with
concentrated detergents red ces poll tion and is good for yo r
dishes; these wash programmes are specially matched to the
dirt-dissolving properties of the enzymes in the concentrated
detergent. For this reason 50°C wash programmes in which
concentrated detergents are sed can achieve the same
res lts that can otherwise only be achieved sing 65°C
programmes.
Detergent tablets
Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different
speeds. For this reason some detergent tablets cannot
develop their f ll cleaning power d ring short programmes.
Therefore please se normal programmes with prewash when
sing detergent tablets.

Washing programmes
(1) Ideal for washing a complete load of 12 place settings with normal soil.
Characterised by a d ration of abo t 80 min tes and a washing temperat re of 65°C.
The time val e is approximate and depends on the press re and the temperat re of the water and also by the variations of the power s pply.
(2) Testing programme for EN 50242 (see "Hints for Test Centres). This programme, developed for the se of detergents with enzymes, allows to
achieve, with reduced consumption of energy the same cleaning res lts that wo ld otherwise be obtained only with the 65°C programmes
and conventional detergents. To compensate the lower temperat re, the d ration of the programme has been extended.
(3) This is a special programme for q ick washing a f ll load of lightly soiled dishes, glasses and crockery (except pots) so that yo may re- se
them promptly.
4) Ideal for washing crockery and c tlery of breakfast and dinner (fresh soil).
Characterised by a d ration of abo t 30 min tes and a washing temperat re of 60°C.
The time val e is approximate and depends on the press re and the temperat re of the water and also by the variations of the power s pply.
This is the perfect daily programme, made to meet the needs of a family of 4 persons who only wish to load breakfast and dinner crockery and
c tlery.

In this f lly integrated appliance, the controls are located on
the top of the door. When selecting a programme, the door
needs to be slightly open.
1. Check that the baskets have been
loaded correctly and that the spray
arms can rotate freely
2. Turn on the water tap
3. Press the On/Off push button
The m ltidisplay will show the last selected programme
and the indicator lights of options previo sly selected will
ill minate.
If salt or rinse aid refilling is necessary, the corresponding
indicator lights will ill minate.
4a. Setting and starting the programme
without "delay start"
Press the "programme selection" p sh b tton ntil the
req ired programme n mber appears in the m ltidisplay
(see "Washing programmes" chart).
If programme 2 (intensive 70°C) is selected, also the SID
indicator light will ill minate.
If yo wish to see the d ration of the programme j st
selected, ONLY with door opened, press the "cancel"
p sh b tton.
Select if desired: "half load" (in the m ltidisplay the
d ration of the programme will be adj sted) and/or
"drying options".
Close the door, the programme will start a tomatically an
and a dible signal advises yo of that.
Once the programme has started, the m ltidisplay will
show the r nning time.
4b. Setting and starting the programme
with "delay start"
Once a programme and req ired options (see point 4a)
have been selected to se "delay start" proceed as
follows:
Press the "delay start" p sh b tton, the m ltidisplay will
show "h 0". Press the p sh b tton again to select the
n mber of ho rs yo wish to delay the programme start
( p to a maxim m of 12 ho rs).
If drying options and/or half load have been set the
corresponding indicators lights will t rn off, b t don’t
worry, the delay start will not modify the settings made
previo sly.
To set the time setting to zero press the "delay start"
p sh b tton ntil "h 0" appears in the m ltidisplay.
Close the door, the co ntdown starts a tomatically and
an a dible signal advises yo of that.
To see the progression of the co ntdown it is necessary
to open the door. The progression of the co ntdown is
confirmed by a flashing dot after the n mber in the
m ltidisplay.
The co ntdown will decrease from ho r to ho r.
The opening of the door will not stop the countdown.
( emember to close the dishwasher door).
Once the delayed time has elapsed the programme
will start a tomatically. In the m ltidisplay will
appear the r nning time of the programme.
To cancel a delay start in progress, open the door and
press the cancel p sh b tton. the delay start will be
cancelled witho t modifying previo s settings
(programme and options). In the m ltidisplay will appear
first "h 0" and then the n mber of the programme.
5. Interrupting/cancelling a washing
programme
Change or interrupt a washing programme in
progress ONLY if it’s absolutely necessary
To interrupt a washing programme
Attention! Hot steam may escape when the door is
opened. There is risk of scalding. Open the door
caref lly.
●Open the dishwasher door; the programme will stop.
Close the door; the programme will start from the
point in which it was interr pted.
●Pressing the On/Off (in this case all the indicator
lights t rn off). Press the On/Off p sh b tton again;
the programme will start from the point in which it was
interr pted.
To cancel a washing programme
Open the door and press the "cancel p sh" b tton.
An a dible signal will inform yo that the programme has
been cancelled and in the m ltidisplay will appear three
horizontal lines (---) for abo t 2 seconds and then the
n mber of the programme j st cancelled.
The dishwasher has ret rned to setting mode and it is
now possible to select a new washing programme.
6. End of the washing programme
The dishwasher will a tomatically stop and an
intermittent a dible signal will be heard when the
programme has ended. (When delay start has been
selected, the a dible signal for end of programme is
a tomatically excl ded).
In the m ltidisplay will appear three horizontal lines (---)
and all the indicator lights will t rn off.
Hot steam may escape from the appliance when opening
the door immediately after the end of the programme,
therefore, open the door carefully.
Open the door and switch off the dishwasher by pressing
the On/Off p sh b tton or select a new washing
programme by pressing the "programme selection" p sh
b tton.
Unloading the dishwasher
Hot dishes are sensitive to knocks. The dishes sho ld
therefore be allowed to cool down before removing from
the appliance.
Leave the dishes in the dishwasher for approx. 15
min tes, with the door ajar, after the end of programme
so that they dry better and will be cooler.
Empty the lower basket first and then the pper one; this
will avoid water dripping from the pper basket onto the
dishes in the lower one.
When the washing programme has finished, it is
recommended that the dishwasher is unplugged and the
water tap turned off.
Starting a washing programme

Clean the external s rfaces of the machine and control panel
with a damp soft cloth. If necessary se only ne tral
detergents.
Never se abrasive prod cts, sco ring pads or solvent
(acetone, trichloroethylene etc....).
Ens re that the seals aro nd the door, the detergent and rinse
aid dispensers are cleaned reg larly with a damp cloth.
We recommend every 3 months to r n a 65°C wash
programme witho t dishes sing detergent.
Cleaning the central filter
(After each wash)
Scraps of food may acc m late in the drain filter (A) and
sho ld be removed by rinsing the filter nder r nning water.
To remove the drain filter
- simply p ll it o t by the handle
Once cleaned, refit the filter by p shing it back to its original
position ntil it engages.
Cleaning the large filter
(Every week)
If necessary clean the large filter (B) on both sides nder
r nning water, sing a br sh.
To remove the large filter
1. Remove the spray arm by p lling it pwards.
2. T rn the col mn (C) anticlockwise by 90° and then slide o t
the filter.
3. Once cleaned refit it following the above instr ctions in
reverse order.
4. Ens re that the filter is in its original position, the handle of
the drain filter sho ld be pointing towards the front of the
appliance.
The dishwasher must not be used without filters. Incorrect
repositioning and fitting of the filters will produce poor
washing results. Cleaning the filters is vital to ensure
correct operation of the machine.
To ensure a correct
working of the dishwasher,
NEVE try to remove the
upper spray arm.
If resid es of soil have
clogged the holes in the
pper spray arm, remove
them with a toothpick.
Check that the SID is not clogged with detergent resid e. If
necessary rinse it nder r nning water after having removed it
from the basket by twisting it anticlockwise and p lling it
pwards.
Never use your dishwasher
without the SID dispenser.
Since SID also ensures
correct distribution of the
water to the upper spray
arm, running the
dishwasher without it will
impair the washing results.
Prolonged periods of non-operation
If yo are not sing the machine for any period of time yo are
advised to:
1. Unpl g the appliance and then t rn off the water.
2. Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
3. Leave the door ajar to prevent the formation of any
npleasant smells.
4. Leave the inside of the machine clean.
Frost precautions
Avoid placing the machine in a location where the temperat re
is below 0°C. If this is navoidable, empty the machine, close
the appliance door, disconnect the water inlet pipe and empty
it.
Moving the machine
If yo have to move the machine (moving ho se etc....):
1. Unpl g it.
2. T rn the water tap off.
3. Remove the water inlet and discharge hoses.
4. P ll the machine o t together with the hoses.
Avoid over tilting the machine d ring transportation.

●The filters in the base of the washing compartment are dirty or incorrectly positioned.
●Too little or no detergent has been sed.
●Where there are limescales deposits on the dishes; the salt container is empty or the wrong level of the water softener has been
selected.
●The drain hose connection is not correct.
●The salt container cap is not properly closed.
The dishes are wet and dull
●Rinse aid was not sed.
●The rinse aid dispenser is empty.
There are streaks, milky spots or a bluish coating on glasses and dishes

Service and spare parts
This prod ct sho ld be serviced by an a thorised service

Under no circ mstances sho ld yo attempt to repair the
machine yo rself.

Security system
Inlet hose
The inlet hose has a high press re resistance.
It can s stain press res p to 6000 kPa (60 bar), 6 times a
normal hose.
As a f rther safeness, the inlet hose is protected with a
sheathing against event al damages.
In case of breakage of the inner hose, the water that is in the
special hose will become dark, this is visible across the special
transparent sheathing.
In this case t rn off the water tap and call the cons mer
services department.
The inlet hose is also fitted with a safety device to
prevent inadvertent loosening.
To detach the hose, press the lever "B" and t rn the retaining
ring "A" anticlockwise.

Any electrical and/or plumbing work required to install
this appliance should be carried out by a qualified
electrician and/or plumber or competent person.
Remove all packaging before positioning the machine.
If possible, position the machine next to a water tap and a
drain.
Building-in
This dishwasher is designed to be fitted nder a kitchen
co nter or works rface.
Attention!
Caref lly follow the instr ctions on the enclosed template for
b ilding in the dishwasher and fitting the f rnit re panel.
No f rther openings for the venting of the dishwasher are
req ired, b t only to let the water fill and drain hose and power
s pply cable pass thro gh.
The dishwasher incorporates adj stable feet to allow the
adj stment of the height.
D ring all operations that involve accessibility to internal
components the dishwasher has to be npl gged.
When inserting the machine, ens re that the water inlet hose,
the drain hose and the s pply cable are not kinked or
sq ashed.
Levelling
Good levelling is essential for correct clos re and sealing of
the door.
When the appliance is correctly levelled, the door will not catch
on either side of the cabinet.
If the door does not close correctly, loosen or tighten the
adj stable feet ntil the machine is perfectly level.
Fixing to the adjacent units
The dishwasher m st be sec red against tilting.
Therefore make s re that the co nter it is fixed nder, is
s itably sec red to a fixed str ct re (adjacent kitchen nits
cabinets, wall).
Water supply connections
This dishwasher may be fed with either hot (max. 50°) or cold
water. Nevertheless we advise yo a cold water s pply.
A hot water s pply is not always efficient with very soiled
crockery as it shortens the washing programmes a lot.
For making the connection itself, the co pling n t fitted to the
machine’s s pply hose is designed to screw onto either a 3/4"
inch gas thread spo t or to a p rpose made q ick-co pling tap
s ch as the Press-block.
The water press re m st be within the limits given in the
technical specifications. Yo r local Water A thority will advise
yo on the average mains press re in yo r area.
The water inlet hose m st not be kinked, cr shed, or entangled
when it is being connected p.
The dishwasher feat res fill and drain hoses which can be
t rned either to the left or the right to s it the installation. The
locknut must be correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
If the machine is connected to new pipes or pipes which have
not been sed for a long time, yo sho ld r n the water for a
few min tes before connecting the inlet hose.
Do not use, for connection, old hoses which have been
used in another appliance.
Water outlet hose connection
The end of the drain hose can be connected in the following
ways:
1. To the sink o tlet spigot, sec ring it if necessary with a clip.
2. Hooked over the edge of the sink sing the special c rved
plastic g ide provided.
3. To a stand pipe provided with vent-hole, minim m internal
diameter 4 cm.
The waste connection m st be at a height of between 30 cm
(minim m) and 100 cm (maxim m) from the bottom of the
dishwasher.
The drain hose can face either to the right or left of the
dishwasher
Ens re the hose is not bent or sq ashed as this co ld prevent
or slow down the discharge of water.
The sink pl g m st not be in place when the machine is
draining as this co ld ca se the water to siphon back into the
machine.
If yo se a drain hose extension it m st be no longer than 2
metres and its internal diameter m st be no smaller than the
diameter of the hose provided.
Likewise the internal diameter of the co plings sed for
connections to the waste o tlet m st be no smaller than the
diameter of the hose provided.
Attention!
O r appliances are s pplied with a sec rity device to protect
against the ret rn of dirty water back into the machine.
If the spigot of yo r sink has a "no ret rn valve" incorporated
this can prevent the correct draining of yo r dishwasher.
We advise yo therefore to remove it.

Electrical connection
Information concerning the electrical connection is given on the
rating plate on the edge of the dishwasher’s door on the right.
Before pl gging the appliance into the wall socket, make s re
that:
1. The mains voltage and c rrent rating at the site of
installation match the nominal voltage and c rrent rating
given on the rating plate.
2. The meter, f ses, mains power s pply and wall socket can
all take the maxim m load req ired. Make s re that the
socket and pl g are compatible witho t having to se any
type of adaptor. If necessary, have the domestic wiring
system socket replaced.
To isolate the dishwasher from mains, remove the mains pl g.
Important!
The plug must still be accessible after the appliance has
been installed.
In case that the electrical cable has to be replaced, please
contact your local consumer services department.
Safety standards require the appliance to be earthed.
The manufacture accepts no liability for failure to observe
the above safety precautions.
