1. GENERAL INFORMATION and SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Ensure the portalter is rmly inserted and secured into the group
head before using the machine.
CAUTION!
• Read all instructions before using.
• In case of emergency, immediately remove the plug from power outlet.
• Check the voltage indicated on the rating label on the appliance does in fact
match that of your electrical system.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
• Always unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning. Allow to cool
before adding or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• To protect against re, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse
cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid. Never clean the appliance or the
power cord if those are humid. Avoid touching the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners
or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from tra󰀩c area and where it will not
be tripped over.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may over heat
and cause a risk of re. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord
shall be rated not less than 2,000 watts. Only use an earthed socket to connect
the appliance.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, metal
surface. Do not place the espresso machine near the edge of a bench or table
during operation. Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water and other
substances.

• It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose t between
the AC outlet(receptacle) and plug may cause over heating and distortion of the
plug. Contact a qualied electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
• Use the appliance only as the described in this manual. Any other use or
accessory attachments not recommend by the manufacture may cause re,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Do not place anything other than cups for warming on top of the espresso
machine.
• Ensure the portalter is rmly inserted and secured into the group head before
using the machine. Never remove the portalter during the brewing operation
as the machine is under pressure.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Hot water, steam, spout are hot. Danger of burning injuries. Do not put steam
or hot water towards the body.
• We recommend using cold, ltered water. We do not recommend the use of
de-mineralized or distilled water as this may a󰀨ect the taste of the espresso and
how the machine is designed to function. Do not use the machine with empty
water tank.
• Use only water in the appliance! Do not put any other liquids or foods in the
water tank.
• WARNING: The lling aperture or cover or handle must not be opened during use.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar application.
• Don’t move the water tank away when the machine still working
to avoid the water spilling or the system absorbing air in.
• Hot steam is dangerous, do not put it towards the body.

3. OPERATION

1. Fill water tank with water
(Filtered Pure water strongly
recommended).
3. Heating up:
Touch any key to heat
up as indicators will
blink.
7. Touch One-cup/Two-
Cup button to brew
espresso.

heat up as indicator will
blink.
4. Stand by mode:
All indicators turn
steady when heating
completed, machine is
ready for operation.
8. The respected
indicator will keep
blinking while brewing
till nished; press any
key to stop any time.
2. When steam button
is steady instead of
blinking, it is heated up
and ready to dispense
steam, turn the steam
dial from co󰀨ee position
to steam/ water position
to dispense some
steam and then touch
the key to stop and get
ready.
6. Insert the portalter
into the group head and
rotate to make it tight
enough.
10. Rotate to release
the portalter and
empty the waste co󰀨ee
ground, clean the lter
carefully for next use.
4. Dip the steam wand
in to the pitcher with
around 10-15mm, and
touch the steam key to
start dispensing steam
to froth milk till the cold
milk is frothed double
or triple in volume and
meantime the temp. is
hot to be at around 60-
700C
5. Choose the right lter
for one-cup / two-cup /
E.S.E. Pod according
to the signals and put in
right volume powder or
pod, tamp the powder
to be at the right density
or position the pod to
be at center carefully.
Refer to relevant books
to learn how to make a
good cup of Espresso.
9. Machine will switch
to stand by mode with
all indicators on after
co󰀨ee brewing.
3. Put in around 80-
120ml milk into the milk
frothing pitcher to get
ready to froth milk. It is
re- commended to use
full milk for a perfect
frothing result instead
of skimmed milk or low
fat milk.
2. Plug in and the machine is
turned on by beeping and the
three indicators will blink once,
entering sleeping mode.
Tips:
Always rinse the machine every
time before making co󰀨ee to
clean up the brewing chamber
and meantime heat up the
whole system for the best yield
of co󰀨ee. This is the best way of
machine maintenance daily.

above indications
to make espresso,
it‘s recommended to
prepare in advance. 6. Pour the milk foam
into the espresso cup
and enjoy.
To make hot water, you
just need to double
click/touch the steam
key and then hot water
dispenses from the
steam wand; you can
touch any key to stop
dispensing or it stops
automatically when
reaching 120ml.
Tips:
Full Milk and cooled in
fridge is best for milk
frothing.
To have perfect milk
frothing, always choose
to use the right pitcher,
right angle and depth
during frothing.
1. Put in some milk into
the milk container as
desired and connect it
to the machine closely.
It is recommended
to use full milk for a
perfect frothing result
instead of skimmed
milk or low fat milk.
Meantime, always
nish all milk every time
for easier cleaning.

dispensing the
machine will start to
make espresso at once
and stops automatically
according to the preset
cup size, then you can
start to enjoy a cup of
milk coee!
3. The machine will
start to froth and
dispense milk foam
directly when heating
up is nished. Factory
default milk volume
can be reprogrammed,
please follow the
relevant instructions.
4. To make Cappuccino or Latte,Hot Water (optional accessory, with milk container)

by mode, long
touch respected
button to start
brewing co󰀨ee and
then release your
nger till reaching
desired volume
to store the new
volume.
2. To reprogram the cup size of
milk co󰀨ee for selected model,
long press the milk co󰀨ee key
and it will pre- heat and then
start to froth milk, release when
the desired volume reached, and
it is stored; then, long press it
again in 4 seconds to reprogram
the espresso cup size (with
co󰀨ee in group head), release
when reaching desired volulme
to store, then it done.
Tips:
Always set the volume as you
like but not more than120ml.
Di󰀨erent types of milk varies in
foam volume.

Check plug or touch any button to wake up.
Make sure the powder is correctly grinded and tamped,
brewing chamber properly rinsed, water tank lled and correctly tted.
Preheat your cup, descale if necessary.
Scale has built up in the machine, descale the machine or change powder.
The water tank is empty.
Repeat the brewing procedure. Make sure the water tank is lled and correctly
tted.
Make sure the co󰀨ee is grinded at right level and portalter well inserted and
rotated on tight enough.
Clean up the steam wand and make sure the air inlet hole open, upright.
Fill in water and touch any button to stop.
1. System Cleaning
To refresh the inside parts of the system, you can choose to repeat the prescribed
procedures of co󰀨ee brewing several times without co󰀨ee in the lters, and try to brush
the inside of the group head with a soft brush time to time.
Clean the casing, with a soft damp cloth.
The water tank, drip tray and lters can be washed in warm water(not hot water).
2. Descaling
Choose the recommended decalcier or scale remover from your machine provider.
Instruction:
1. Fill water tank with 500ml pure water(around half of the total capacity);
2. Pour into the water tank 3g scale remover, wait for 5 minutes or stir to dissolve;
3. Install the water tank to the correct position carefully and long press the three
buttons for no less than 3s to enter descaling mode the machine will start to work till it
stops automatically;
4. Wait for 10 minutes and pour pure water into water tank, enter descaling mode
again to clean the machine till it stops.
Suggested Descaling Interval:

a fost conceput pe baza cunoştinţelor tehnice cele mai noi şi s-a fabricat prin utilizarea
componentelor electrice/electronice cele mai abile şi moderne.
Înainte de a pune aparatul în funcţiune, vă rugăm să vă acordaţi câteva minute ca să citiţi
instrucţiunile de utilizare care urmează.

1. INFORMAȚII GENERALE şi MĂSURI DE PRECAUŢIE
Înaintea utilizării aparatului, vericați xarea portltrului
corespunzător pe aparat.
ATENŢIE !
ATENȚIE: Aparatul este destinat doar
uzului în locații acoperite!
• Vă rugăm să păstraţi instrucţiunile de utilizare, certicatul de garanţie, chitanţa
de cumpărare şi ambalajul produsului.
• În caz de accident involuntar, scoateți urgent ștecherul din priză.
• Asiguraţi-vă că tensiunea de alimentare şi frecvenţa corespund cu cele înscrise
pe eticheta cu specicaţii a aparatului.
• Aşezaţi aparatul întotdeauna pe o suprafaţă plană şi stabilă. Evitaţi să mişcaţi
aparatul în timpul funcţionării.
• Nu atingeţi suprafeţele erbinţi. Folosiţi mânerele şi butoanele pentru operare
şi manevrare.
• Pentru a preveni pericolul de electrocutare nu introduceţi cordonul, ştecherul
sau expresorul în apă sau în alte lichide. Nu atingeți aparatul sau ștecherul dacă
acestea sunt umede. Evitați atingerea aparatului cu mâinile umede.
• Este necesară o atentă supraveghere când aparatul este folosit lângă copii.
Acest aparat nu se va folosi de către persoane inrme, persoane cu capacităţi
senzoriale şi mentale reduse, persoane lipsite de experienţă sau copii. În
cazurile menţionate se va folosi numai sub supravegherea unei persoane adulte
responsabile.
• Ştecherul trebuie scos din priză atunci când aparatul nu se utilizează, se curăţă,
se monteză sau se demontează accesoriile.
• Nu utilizați pentru funcționarea aparatului un prelungitor,acesta se poate
supraîncălzi și poate exista un pericol de incendiu. Dacă va  folosit un
prelungitor, este necesar ca acesta să e cu contact de împământare și puterea
nominală să nu e mai mică de 2000 W. Nu acoperiți cablul de alimentare sau
cablul prelungitorului utilizat.
• Este normal ca ștecherul aparatului să e călduț la atingere după utilizare,
totuși dacă există un contact slab la priza folosită, bornele ștecherului se pot
supraîncălzi și deforma. Contactați un electrician autorizat pentru înlocuirea
prizei de alimentare.
• Nu depozitați nimic deasupra aparatului, excepție ind cana utilizată pentru
cafea.

• Lăsaţi aparatul să se răcească înainte de a-l curăţa sau a-i monta/demonta
accesorii. Atenţie la degajarea de aburi, pentru a nu vă opări!
• Înaintea utilizării aparatului, vericați xarea portltrului corespunzător pe
aparat. Nu îndepărtați/scoateți portltrul în timpul funcționării deoarece pot 
provocate răni prin lovire sau opărire!
• Nu atingeți suprafețele erbinți, folosiți mânerele sau butoanele aparatului.
• Apa, aburul sau tubul de abur sunt erbinți și pot provoca răni prin opărire. Nu
reintroduceți apa erbinte sau cafeaua înapoi în aparat.
• Nu umpleţi expresorul cu apă direct de la robinetul de apă.
• Nu utilizați aparatul cu rezervorul de apă gol.
• Utilizați doar apa pentru funcționarea corectă a aparatului. Nu introduceți alte
lichide sau alimente în rezervorul de apă.
• Nu folosiţi expresorul pe/sau lângă aragaz sau alte aparate care generează
căldură.
• Vericaţi starea aparatului şi a cablului de alimentare înainte de orice utilizare.
Dacă există oproblemă de orice natură, nu utilizaţi aparatul. Apelaţi la un Service
autorizat ZASS pentru a verica şi/sau repara aparatul. Nu reparaţi singuri
aparatul.
• Folosirea accesoriilor care nu sunt recomandate sau vândute de ZASS poate
duce la accidente sau la distrugerea aparatului.
• Nu folosiţi aparatul în exterior. Nu utilizaţi aparatul în apropierea materialelor
explozive sau inamabile.
• Nu lăsaţi cordonul de alimentare să atârne peste marginea mesei şi nici să
atingă suprafeţe erbinţi. Aparatul se scoate din priză trăgând de ştecher şi nu
de cordonul de alimentare; nu răsuciţi cablul de alimentare.
• Vă recomandăm folosirea apei ltrate reci.
• NU recomandăm utilizarea apei demineralizate sau a apei distilate deoarece
poate afecta gustul cafelei sau funcționarea corectă a aparatului.
ATENTIE: În timpul funcționării, nu scoateți portltrul de pe aparat.
În timpul funcționării, nu îndepărtați de pe aparat rezervorul de
apă. Nu îndreptați spre corp aburul erbinte emis de aparat.
• Acest aparat este destinat numai pentru utilizare casnică. Nu folosiţi
aparatul pentru alte scopuri decât cele menţionate în instrucţiuni.
Firma producătoare nu este responsabilă pentru pagube rezultate
din utilizarea incorectă a aparatului.

3. UTILIZARE
1. Umpleți rezervorul de apă
- se recomandă utilizarea apei
ltrate.
3. Preîncălzirea
Atingeți oricare tastă
pentru pornirea
aparatului, simbolurile
vor clipi intermitent.
7. Apăsați simbolul de
1 sau 2 cafele pentru
preparare cafea.
1. Preîncălzirea
După apăsarea
simbolului de abur,
acesta va începe să
clipească.
4. Mod utilizare:
Când aparatul este
încălzit și pregătit
pentru utilizare, toate
simbolurile vor rămâne
aprinse.
8. Simbolul respectiv va
clipi până la finalizarea
procesului de preparare
a cafelei. Puteți opri acest
proces de preparare în orice
moment, prin apăsarea
oricărei taste de pe panoul
de control.
2. Când simbolul de
abur rămâne aprins,
aparatul este pregătit
pentru a produce aburi,
rotiți butonul lateral de
pe poziția producerii
de cafea pe poziția
de producere aburi/
apă erbinte pentru
eliberarea aburului,
apoi apăsați simbolul
de abur pentru oprire.
6. Introduceți și xați
portltrul prin rotire în
locașul de pe aparat.
10. Detașați portltrul
de pe aparat, goliți sita
de cafea și spălați-o
pentru urmatoarea
utilizare.
4. Introduceți tubul
de aburi în cana de
spumare aprox 10-
15 mm, apoi atingeți
simbolul de abur pentru
eliberarea presiunii
de abur până volumul
laptelui se va dubla/
tripla și temperatura
laptelui va atinge cca
60-70 gr.C.
5. Alegeți sita pentru
1cafea / 2 cafele /
pastile ESE, introduceți
cantitatea de cafea
/ pastilă ESE
corespunzătoare sitei
respective și tasați
cafeaua uniform prin
ușoară apăsare. Dacă
folosiți pastile ESE,
centrați cu atenție
pastila ESE în mijlocul
sitei.
9. După prepararea
cafelei, simbolurile vor
rămâne aprinse și
aparatul va trece în
modul ”Stand by”.
3. Puneți aprox. 80-
120 ml de lapte in
cana de spumare. Se
recomandă folosirea
laptelui integral pentru
rezultate bune de
spumare a laptelui. Nu
se recomandă utilizarea
laptelui degresat sau a
laptelui slab în grăsimi.
2. Introduceți ștecherul în priză,
aparatul va porni cu sunetul ”bip”,
cele 3 simboluri de pe panoul frontal
vor clipi o singură dată, după care
aparatul va intra în stare de repaus.
Recomandare:
Întotdeauna porniți aparatul doar
cu apă de ecare dată la prima
utilizare zilnică,pentru curățarea
boilerului și preîncălzirea
sistemului de preparare a
cafelei,acesta ind și un mod de
întreținere zilnică a aparatului.
