PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The door of the heated room do not include any locking or latching system which could
cause entrapment inside the sauna.
2. CAUTION: Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level
several degrees above the normal body temperature of 37 ℃(98.6°F). The symptoms of
hyperthermia include an increase in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy,
drowsiness, and fainting. The effects of hyperthermia include:
a) Failure to perceive heat;
b) Failure to recognize the need to exit the room;
c) Unawareness of impending hazard;
d) Fetal damage in pregnant women;
e) Physical inability to exit the room; and
f) Unconsciousness.
3. WARNING – The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication is capable of greatly increasing the risk
of fatal hyperthermia.
4. WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION AND BURNS, DO NOT OPERATE
UNLESS HEATER GUARD IS CORRECTLY IN PLACE.
5. PERSONS WITH HEALTH CONDITIONS SHOULD CONSULT THEIR PHYSICIANS BEFORE
USING SAUNA.
6. CAUTION: DO NOT PLACE COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL ON OR AGAINST HEATER AT ANY
TIME.
7. EXIT IMMEDIATELY IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE, DIZZY OR SLEEPY.
8. SUPERVISE CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.
9. WARNING: REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION BY DISCONNECTING POWER SUPPLY
BEFORE SERVICING.
10. Remove all jewellery before you enter the sauna.
11. To prevent electrical shock, do not use metal tools on the far infrared elements.
Installation requirements
a. Do not plug any other appliances into the outlet with your our infrared sauna.
b. Install the sauna on a completely level floor.
c. Do not spray the exterior with water. If the area you are installing the sauna has a
tendency for dampness, place rubber matting or some other suitable barrier
underneath the sauna.
d. Do not store flammable objects or chemical substances near the sauna.

Sauna components

2. Place the bottom board in the desired location of your sauna, and make sure which side is the front and
which side is the back. See FIG-3.

3. Align the Back Panel with Bottom Panels corresponding battens; make sure they are on the same line.
One person should hold the back panel while the other person continues the next step. See FIG-4
4. Align the Left Panel with Bottom Panels corresponding battens; make sure the Left Panel fits flush into
the Back
Panel. See FIG-5

5. Align the Right Panel with Bottom Panel’s corresponding battens; make sure the Right Panel fits flush
into the Back Panel and screw together. See FIG-6 and FIG-7

6. Align the Front Panel with Bottom Panel’s corresponding battens, and then screw it with the Left and
Right Panels respectively. Notes: Take caution of the glass door to avoid damage. See FIG-8 and FIG-6 .

7. Assembling bench support - Slide the bench support down vertically into the slot within back and right
panel. then locate bench support and slide into place.
8. Put the bench horizontally on corresponding battens of the right board.
9. Put the wires of Front Panel and Back Panel into the cabinet to avoid pressing the wires during
installing. Open the door, raise the Top Panel high enough to see if it fits with the surrounding boards,
then put down. See FIG-9

10. During the course of putting down the Top Panel, make sure all the wires (mentioned above) and
connecting plugs are slipped through the corresponding holes of the Top Panel. All these wires will
be led into connecting with the controller on the internal top panel.
11. See FIG-10. Connect all the wires and connectors to the corresponding outlets on the Top Panel.
Please be sure all the plugs are connected tightly.

12. If you are certain that all steps have been completed correctly, plug in the power and turn on at the
control panel.
13. Once you are confident the sauna is heating up, screw on the Top Panel.
This completes the installation. Enjoy!

OPERATION
1. Precautions
a. Check the circuitry and the plug meets all requirements.
b. Set the temperature and time to a comfortable level, normally 60 minutes at
50 - 65℃(122 ºF -140 ºF)
Note: If ambient temperature is lower than 18.3℃(65 ºF), please set the temperature at about
50℃(122 ºF); and if ambient temperature is higher than 18.3℃(65 ºF), please set the
temperature at about 65℃(140 ºF).
c. Make sure you have had sufficient water before the sauna session.
d. After 2 hours of continuous use, shut the sauna down for one hour.
e. To avoid burns, do not touch the heating element.
2. Operation
a. See electrical label on the unit, and plug the sauna into a proper wall outlet. Do not share the
outlet with any other appliances. Plug the unit into the outlet and use the ON/OFF switch to
activate the sauna. Sauna should be unplugged when not in use.
b. Press the temperature button to increase or decrease the temperature.
The temperature setting will increase or decrease one degree every time the button is
pushed. If pressed for three seconds, the setting will increase quickly. After the sauna reaches
the desired temperature, the heating board turns off.
c. If the sauna becomes too hot or stuffy for you, open the vent in the ceiling or open the front
door.
d. After your sauna session, turn off and unplug the power cable.
e. Press the time button to set the timer from 5 to 60 minutes. If pressed
for three seconds, the timer will increase quickly. When the display reads ‘05’, the timer will
buzzes then the machine will shut off automatically after 5 minutes. To extend the sauna
session, reset the timer again.
WARNINGS
1. Safety precautions
a. To avoid fire, do not dry clothes or leave any towels in the sauna.
b.To prevent burns or electric shocks, do not touch or use metal tools on the net cover of the far
infrared film elements.

c. While in the sauna, do not touch the light bulb. If the bulb needs to be changed, switch it off
and wait until the sauna is shut off and the bulb is cool.
d. Do not spray water on the far-infrared tube. This activity may result in electric shock or
damage to the heater elements.
e. Do not use the infrared sauna if you have any of the following conditions:
•Open wounds
•Eye diseases
•Severe sunburns
•Elderly and weak people, especially those suffering from a disease, pregnant women and
infants. Children over the age of 6 years may use the sauna under the supervision of adults.
•If suffering from a disease directly related to temperature, seek the advice of a doctor before
using.
•Do not place pets in the sauna.
•Do not use the sauna if you are under the effects of alcohol.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleansers inside the sauna. Unplug the sauna room from the wall
outlet before cleaning. Use plain water and a soft cloth for cleaning. Do no use benzene, alcohol
or strong cleaning chemicals on sauna.
NOTE: Use of chemicals will damage the wood and any natural protection layer inherent in the
wood.
Transportation and storage
1. Avoid exposure to rain, snow or strong collisions during transport.
2. Do not store in damp environments.
WARRANTY
Congratulations on purchasing the Zen ‘Brighton’ Infrared Sauna. This is your warranty card. To
activate your warranty, please register online at warranty.vitality4life.com
Vitality 4 Life warrant this the Zen ‘Brighton’ Infrared Sauna to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship while in normal domestic use for a period of 1 year from the original date of
purchase.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.

TERMS OF PRODUCT WARRANTY COVERAGE
Vitality 4 Life provides the Product Warranty coverage as further described below and limited to
the terms and conditions hereof:
1. If the The Zen ‘Brighton’ Infrared Sauna exhibits a defect while in normal domestic use, within
the warranty period; we will, at our option, either repair or replace the machine or defective part
free of charge.
2. To activate your warranty, you can register online within 30 days, or send all the details by

qualify for warranty service, repair or replacement, consumers may still buy replacement parts or

have products repaired by one of Vitality 4 Life’s Service Centres. Please contact Vitality 4 Life for
further information.
4. Do not send the product back to the service centre without return authorization form.
5. In no event shall our liability exceed the retail value of the product. We make no warranty with
respect to parts from a source other than Vitality 4 Life.
All exchanged or substitute parts and products replaced under warranty service will become the
property of Vitality 4 Life. Repaired or replaced products or parts thereof will be warranted by
Vitality 4 Life for the balance of the original warranty period.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
•Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the Product, not caused by direct defect in factory
workmanship or materials.
•Damage due to abuse, mishandling, alteration, misuse, commercial service, tampering,
accident, failure to follow care, operating and handling provisions indicated in the instructions.
•Damage caused by parts or service not authorized or performed by Vitality 4 Life.
•Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
So the above limitations may not apply to you in the case of damage in shipment. If your Zen
‘Brighton’ Infrared Sauna was damaged in shipment, immediately report this type of damage
to the parcel carrier and have them file an inspection report with Vitality 4 Life.
•You have rights and benefits under the consumer laws in your jurisdiction. Without detracting
from these rights or benefits, Vitality 4 Life excludes all liability in respect of this product for
any other loss which is not reasonably foreseeable from a failure of this product, which may
include liability for negligence, loss of expenditure associated with the product and loss of
enjoyment.
Please follow these instructions when making a warranty claim:
1. You must inform Vitality 4 Life as soon as the warranty claim arises and provide a visual
documentation of the fault.
2. If the warranty claim is not accepted:
a) Vitality 4 Life will inform the customer;
b) If requested to do so by the customer, Vitality 4 Life will repair the product provided the
customer pays the usual charges for such repair; and
c) If applicable the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with collection of the
product from Vitality 4 Life.
