IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be
followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Before using check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to rated voltage marked
on the rating plate.
3. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall
outlet in your house is well earthed.
4. Do not place the coffee maker on hot surface or beside fire in order to avoid to be
damaged.
5. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug,
in water or other liquid.
6. Remove plug from wall outlet before cleaning and when not in use. Allow appliance
cool down completely before taking off, attaching components or before cleaning.
7. During the cleaning operations it is strictly prohibited to use chemicals or flammable.
8. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull the
cord.
9. Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
10. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons
11. This product is intended for household only. Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
12. Before cleaning the unit, turn it off and unplug it from the wall outlet
13. For any questions or problems, please contact customer service.
14. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.
15. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
16. Place appliance on flat surface or table, do not hang power cord over the edge of table
or counter.
17. Ensure the power cord do not touch hot surface of appliance.
18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
19. Do not use outdoors.
20. Save these instructions.
WARNING: The openings planned for the filling should not be opened during use.
1. Do not place heavy objects on the cables or heat sources close to them . The cables
may be damaged;
2. Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the
mains by removing the plug;
3. In case of abnormal situations immediately turn off the power and contact your dealer or
service center;
4. Do not use this unit connected to programmers, external timer , remote control system
of separate timer or any other device that can switch automatically;
5. Do not use power sockets flying or damaged cables;
6. When you hold it firmly pulls the plug to avoid electric shock, short circuit or fire;
7. Do not attach safety switches with tape, for fire hazard;

8. It is absolutely prohibited to disassemble or repair the unit by the danger of electric
shock if necessary contact your dealer or service center;
9. Do not use the appliance near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool;
10. Do not use the machine near flammable objects;
11. Do not insert objects through the slots of the unit;
12. Before connecting to the mains supply, make sure the voltage is correct as reported on
the label of the product and that the installation complies with current regulations;
13. Do not touch the power connection with wet hands;
14. Do not use the product for purposes other than those for which it was built;
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
16. If the external flexible cable is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified technician in
order to avoid accidents;
17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance;

HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add water into water
tank to the MAX level and brew water for several times without coffee powder, then
discard the water. Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the top cover and fill fresh water. The water level should not exceed max level
and lower min level as indicated inside the water tank.
2. Place the filter in the funnel, and make sure it is assembled correctly.
3. Add coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of coffee need a level spoon of coffee
powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste.
4. Shake the funnel slightly to make ground coffee evenly
5. Push the funnel to units to make sure that funnel is in place and secured by funnel fix
plate
6. Place ceramic cup on dismantled cup holder , if brew a cup of coffee, place a ceramic
cup in the middle of dismantled cup holder to make sure that two funnel outlet within

cup jaw, if brew two cups of coffee, two ceramic cups are placed under funnel outlet
separately
7. Turning on the switch, the indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will begin
working. The brewing process can be interrupted by shutting off the switch at any time.
The appliance will continue brewing once the switch is turned on again.
8. Remove out ceramic cup to serve when finish brewing (about one minute later after the
coffee stops dripping out.)
Note: the coffee you get will less than the water you have added, as some water is
absorbed by coffee powder.
9. When the process is finished, if you do not want to serve immediately, do not unplug
the power, and keep the switch is on, the coffee can be kept warm in the keeping warm
plate, suggest the time of keeping warm is not more than 1 hour. For an optimum
coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
10.Always turn the coffee maker off and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet
when the coffee maker is not in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical
shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make
sure plug is first removed from wall outlet.
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot, sudsy water.
2. Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may buildup in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product
base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth
after each use of the product.
4. Replace all parts and keep for next use.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral
deposits left by the water regularly according to the water quality in your area and the
frequency use the appliance, the detail is as follows:
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level in the gauge of coffee maker (the
scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of descaler. Please

use “household descaler”, you can use the citric acid instead of the descaler (the one
hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
2. Push carafe on the base, pay attention to let center line of carafe aligns with that of
brew basket.
3. Turn on the switch and the indicator of it will be illuminated. After a while, water will drop
out automatically.
4. After percolate the equivalent of one cup and then switch off the appliance.
5. Leave the solution work for 15 minutes, and then repeat the steps of 3-5 again.
6. Turn the appliance on and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.
7. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly clean the
coffee maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always
use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.
2. Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee
powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
3. For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them just before
brewing.
4. Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee’ flavor. Reheating
coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor immediately after brewing.
5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the
surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder.
6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.
