Please take the time to read this manual before operation so
that you fully understand the features and correct use of this
ne product.
Before control start
1. Turn down the channel GAIN, AUX, and Fader
controls and center the channel EQ and PAN controls.
2. Set all push button switches to their "out" positions.
3. In the output section (right hand side), turn all the rotary
knobs "down," the switches "out," and the SUB 1-4 and
MAIN MIX faders down.
4. Turn the POWER switch off.
Connections
If you already know how you want to connect the VX-
3242NU/VX-4042NU, go ahead and connect the inputs and
outputs the way you want them. If you just want to get sound
through the mixer, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the detachable line cord, connect it to an AC
outlet, and turn ON the POWER switch on the Rear
panel.
2. Plug a microphone or other signal source into channel
1's MIC or LINE input.
3. Connect cords from the VX-3242NU/VX-4042NU's
MAIN OUTS (XLR connectors or 1/4" TRS
connectors on the rear panel) to your amplier.
4. Hook up speakers to the amp and turn it on. If the
amplier has level controls, set them however the
manufacturer recommends (usually all the way up).
Set the Levels
To set the channel GAIN controls, it's not even necessary
to hear what you're doing at the outputs of the mixer. If you
want to listen while you work, plug headphones into the
PHONES jack on the front panel, then set the PHONES
knob about one-quarter of the way up. The following steps
must be performed one channel at a time.
1. Push in the channel's SOLO [17] switch. Make sure the
SOLO MODE [12 of page 17] switch is down (PFL).
2. Play something into the selected input. This could be an
instrument, a singing or speaking voice, or a line input
such as a CD player or tape recorder output. Be sure
that the volume of the input source be an instrument,
a singing or peaking voice, or a line input such as a CD
player or tape recorder output. Be sure that the volume
of the input source is the same as it would be during
normal use. If it isn't, you might have to read just these
levels during the middle of the set.
3. Adjust the channel's GAIN[5] control so that the LEDs
on the RIGHT meter [25 of page 21] stay around "0"
and never go higher than "+7."

전원을 연결하기 전에
1. 전원을 켜기전에 채널 게인과 AUX 그리고 페이더의 조절기
를 최소로 해주시고 EQ와 PAN 조절기는 중앙에 위치시켜 주
십시오.
2. 누르는 방식의 스위치들은 “out” 으로 위치시켜 주십시오.
3. 출력 부분(제품의 오른쪽 부분)의 모든 조절 노브를 “down”
위치로 돌려주시고 스위치는 “out”위치로, 서브 1-4 와 메인
믹스 페이더는 최소로 내려주십시오.
4. 전원 스위치는 꺼주십시오.
제품 연결
VX-3242NU/VX-4042NU의 연결 방법을 이미 전부 알고 계시다
면 원하는 방식대로 입, 출력부를 연결해 주십시오. 믹서를 통해 단
순히 음향만을 얻고자 하신다면 다음의 방법을 따라주세요:
1. 분리형 라인코드를 끼우시고 AC전원에 연결하신 후 제품
후면부의 전원 스위치를 켜 주십시오.
2. 마이크로폰 또는 기타 입력 기기를 채널 1의 MIC 또는 LINE
입력단자에 끼워주십시오.
3. VX-3242NU/VX-4042NU의 메인 출력부(제품 후면부의
XLR 컨넥터 또는 1/4”TRS 컨넥터)의 코드를 앰프에 연결해
주십시오.
4. 스피커를 앰프에 연결하시고 전원을 켜주세요. 만약 앰프에
볼륨 조절기가 있다면 앰프의 제조사에서 권한 방식으로 조
절해 주십시오. (일반적으로 끝까지 올리게 되어있습니다)
음량 조절 방식
채널 게인 조절기를 설정하기 위해서 믹서의 출력을 직접 들어볼
필요는 없습니다. 직접 들어보길 원하신다면 헤드폰을 제품 전면부
폰 잭에 끼우시고 폰 조절 노브를 1/4정도 높이로 올려주십시오.
다음 단계를 한번에 한 채널씩에만 따라 주십시오.
1. 채널의 SOLO 스위치[17]를 눌러 주십시오. SOLO 모드 [17
페이지의 12번] 스위치를 확실히 내려주십시오(PFL).
2. 선택된 입력부로 연결된 입력기기를 작동시켜 주세요. 입력
기기는 악기가 될 수도 있으며, 말하거나 노래하는 음성, 또
는 CD 플레이어나 테이프 레코더 등 여러 가지를 포함합니
다. 외부 입력기기가 어떤 것인지를 명확히 해주십시오. 입력
기기의 볼륨은 평소 사용하시는 정도의 볼륨으로 사용하시면
됩니다. 잘 모르실 경우, 중간 정도의 볼륨으로 조절해 주십
시오.
3. 채널의 GAIN[5] 조절기를 설정해서 오른쪽 LED 미터기[21
페이지의 25번]를 0으로 맞춰 주십시오. +7이상으로는 올리
지 마세요.
4. EQ를 적용하고 싶다면 EQ 조절 후 세번째 단계를 반복해 주
세요.
