The ZyXEL NSA210, DLNA 1.5-certified 1-Bay Media Server,supports multiple server technologies for
multimedia sharing. Acting as an iTunes server, SqueezeCenter,personal blog and photo album
server for PCs, laptops and SqueezeBoxes, the NSA210 can make it easy to stream and share music
and photos.
Through an enhanced online“Package”management, advanced users can easily choose their
preferred applications online.The selected application software will be automatically downloaded
from the ZyXEL website and install.It can save your storage capacity for applications you require and
offer you the real-time application software support per your needs.
Intuitive user interface integrated with media player
With the user-friendly installation wizard,it’s easy and simple to manage and backup media files.
Through an intuitive user interface integrated with the media player, you can play music and photo
slide shows directly from NSA210.The NSA210 also allows you to create a music playlist and play it
on the background for photo slide shows.
A newly designed alphabetical search bar provides you a more convenient way to search files within
thousands of songs, photos and videos stored in the NSA210.

Powerful auto download/upload platforms freeing up your PC
For saving your power usage, the NSA210’s platform allows you to continuously download/upload files without powering on PC.
HTTP
With the link capture support, you can just simply click on the hyperlink of the file in your web browser and the download link will be recognized by the
NSA210.Then the file will be downloaded even if the PC is off.This is particularly useful for large and lengthy downloads,efficient to save enormous power
and helpful for freeing up system resources of your computer.
BitTorrent and eMule
The NSA210 features a BitTorrent client for fast downloading and sharing large files.With high-speed DHT (Distributed Hash Tables) mode and TCP/UDP
tracker protocols support, the NSA210 overcomes the drawbacks of slow and disrupted downloading and also supports eMule for downloading.
RSS
After you subscribe to RSS feeds and add the links to the NSA210,the built-in RSS client enables the NSA210 to automatically download the latest digital
contents,such as TV programs and Podcasts.With RSS server support, the NSA210 makes it easy for you to share the files with your friends by subscribing to
the RSS feeds you set.
FTP Server
With the NSA210, you can establish your own FTP server and manage access authorization for it.The auto-upload function can automatically upload files
stored in the NSA to FTP servers; it’s a very efficient way to update multiple FTP servers simultaneously and share with your friends and family.
Flickr/YouTube
The NSA210 supports auto-upload to Flickr and YouTube as well.With simple setup steps, newly updated photos and videos stored in the NSA210 can be
automatically uploaded to Flickr and YouTube effortlessly.
Eco-friendly scheduled power on/off saves energy
To save on electricity bills and better protect the environment, the NSA210 consumes less power without compromising performance.Compared to
traditional NAS and storage servers (consume 200 W normally), the NSA210 consumes 85% less power. Furthermore, the NSA210’s eco-friendly scheduling
function can automatically perform power management tasks according to specific date/time or idle period settings for better power efficiency. In other
words,the NSA210 can automatically turn on or off based on your usage patterns and needs to conserve power and cost.
Complete instant/scheduled backup solutions for data protection
The NSA210 provides a complete set of backup solutions for home and SOHO users.The intuitive Memeo Auto-backup software can automatically
synchronize the data from PC to NSA.Moreover, with the intelligent“Copy/Sync” button, the NSA210 makes it even easier to copy to or from external USB
storage devices,card readers and digital cameras.
In addition, the “Backup Planner” provides you the solutions of instant backup and scheduled backup from the NSA210 to other NSA or external storage
devices. Just by simple setup steps,you can plan your backup schedule per your needs. Adavenced functions such as data compression and synchronization
also optimize the bandwidth and time for high-performance data backup.
S.M.A.R.T. for hard disk health monitoring
The Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) provides comprehensive information regarding hard drive health status to prevent
potential physical drive failures.The comprehensive log system summarizes detail data access records and connection status for administrators to analyze,
while all errors and warning messages can also be sent via e-mail alerts for instant attention.
Protect your data from potential crises
Important personal documents, photos and databases should be securely stored and transmitted without unauthorized access and loss in case of disk crash.
The IP filter table management prevents the NSA210 from malicious attacks. IP filter policies can be created to allow, deny or auto-block IP addresses
containing malicious programs or network domain attempting to connect to the NSA210. Moreover, with HTTPS and FTPES (FTP over explicit TLS/SSL)
support, the NSA can be accessed under protection and encrypt the data in transmission.
When backing up from the NSA210 to a device of ZyXEL’s NSA family, the encrypted Remote Replication feature provides you with high-level data protection
for your valuable information.The SATA disk in NSA210 also works with other eSATA hard disks to create a RAID1 mirroring environment for enhanced data
protection. Better yet, with supports to the networked recycle bin, the accidentally deleted data can be quickly restored.
