Notes:
1. The default device administration username is “admin”, password is “1234”
2. The default LAN subnet is 192.168.1.0/24 with LAN Ip as 192.168.1.1.
3. The default WAN interface is eth1, and it will automatically get IP address using
DHCP by default.

Known Issues in C0 version:
1. SPR ID 070126404: Wireless Client can't get the IGMP packet smoothly.
2. SPR ID 070509336: In IXWLAN test. DUT only could allow 27 stations to associate with
WPA-PSK.
3. SPR ID 070525335: WPA2 can't work with Centrino 2200BG.
4. SPR ID 070125261: PPTP + dynamic WAN IP address issue.
5. SPR ID 070126399: Browser "Safari" doesn't support SSL VPN.
Bugs Fixed in B8 version:
1. SPR ID 070125259: In Wired LAN throughput, throughput only about 1 Mbps via SmartBit.
In Smartbit application configuration you need to select “router test” and Learning for “Every
trial”.
2. SPR ID 070126386: Device should hide the booting message in console.
3. SPR ID 070508272: Error display of "Multi-user login DUT".
4. SPR ID 070523167: it doesn't update WAN MAC information on GUI status
5. SPR ID 070523168: please display individual information of WAN and LAN MAC on status
page.
6. SPR ID 070523169: password locked issue.
7. SPR ID 070524243: lack of firmware version.
8. SPR ID 070524244: unmatched message status.

Bugs Fixed in B7 version:

1. SPR ID 070508259: DUT can't login after change LAN IP address.When LAN IP subnet is
changed then the current admin session is logged out to allow admin to relogin from new
LAN IP segment.
2. SPR ID 070508282: “rx_cb error” print removed from Ethernet drivers.
3. SPR ID 070508259: New feature added to allow “No Idle timeout” i.e when admin enters “0”
for Inactivity timer then session will never timeout.
4. SPR ID 070509335: Link rate should be "N/A" if user disable the Wireless LAN.
5. SPR ID 070508278: Please change "54" to "54M" for wireless link rate in the status page.
6. SPR ID 070508258: Set WAN MAC address can't input 00:13:49:AA:AA:A3 (DUT's WAN
MAC address)
Bugs Fixed in B6 version:
1. New wireless lan drivers with version 5.0.2.46 released by ZyXEL are being used.
2. Multiboot function added in this version.
3. SPR ID 070126412: New feature added on Spoof Mac, user can enter an IP address whose
MAC will be used for cloning.
4. SPR ID 070305308 : Fix multiple admin login issue.
5. Name changed from “HostName” to “Host IP address” in Desktop links list.
Bugs Fixed in B5 version:
1. SPR ID 070125254 : Protect Telnet console with GUI’s admin user and password
2. SPR ID 070125259 : Needed to add arp records while taking Wired LAN Throughput issue.
3. SPR ID 070125208 : Cannot login to GUI anymore when incorrect time is entered.
4. SPR ID 070125214 : Deny schedule.
5. SPR ID 070129495 : User can upload the second file successfully before the first file
completely uploaded to finish.
6. SPR ID 070129496 : Please add some message in GUI to remind user that after uploading file
successfully

1. SPR ID 070125238: After user upgrade firmware, the system do not jump to login screen.
2. SPR ID 070125239: User can not modify the domin name.
3. SPR ID 070125240: Wireless feature "auto channel selection" do not work!.Feature removed
on Zyxel’ advise.
4. SPR ID 070125241: Wireless timer setting.
5. SPR ID 070125242: Wireless Authentication/Accounting Server port number setting.

Issue may be with learning packets,Please check by adding ARP entries on the NBG-510S for
Smarbits interfaces using “arp” command from linux shell.
21. SPR ID 070125260: What's different between "Keep Alive Time" and "Maximum idle
Timeout".Keep alive time removed.
22. SPR ID 070125204: Device GUI does not show IP address that got from DHCP server
23. SPR ID 070125206: GUI page error in Web --> Maintenance --> System , click "Cancel"

password will generate extra frame

system_settings_time.htm" , and GUI occurred big mistake , user can not use GUI anymore.

46. SPR ID 070126414: Daylight saving time function can not work

the counting timer is too short to lead to page error (that's can not re-link to login page)

49. SPR ID 070126419: There is no DNS displayed on dynamic WAN setting.
50. SPR ID 070126420: Some Restricted Web Features can not work.
51. SPR ID 070126359: User Portal Manage Views user Views File Shares:Category and
Directory Contents fields can’t display Chinese well.
52. SPR ID 070126360: Chinese can’t display when accessing photo shares on the protal page
53. SPR ID 070126369: ’Name’ field can’t display complete category on portal page.
54. SPR ID 070126371: Please add user inforamtion on GUI after login to the Portal Page
successfully.
55. SPR ID 070126378: Maintenance ->Logs:Source and destination fields always display
0.0.0.0:0 when user login to the portal page successfully
56. SPR ID 070129514: Set default values "Administrator Inactivity Timer = 5 minutes"
57. SPR ID 070129515: DHCP client will get the IP address from out of IP Pool's range.
58. SPR ID 070129521: Lease Expire time could extend 72 hours instead of 12 hours.
