INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
TheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator™(2GIG‐BRDG1‐900)providesInternet
connectivitybetweenthemonitoringservice’sCentralStationandthe
Go!Control®Panel,whenthepanelisusedasahouseholdburglaralarm
system.
Itsupportsautomaticfirmwareupdates,providesinteractivesecurity
services,andincreasessupervisionusingsignal‐forwardingtotheCentral
Station.ForwirelesscommunicationwiththeControlPanel,the900MHz
TransceiverModule(2GIG‐XCVR)mustbeinstalledinthepanel.For
Internetaccess,theGo!Bridgemustbeconnectedtothelocalnetwork
routerusinganEthernetcable(notprovided).

Requirements
Beforeyouinstall,program,andtesttheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator,
ensurethecontrolpanelbeingpairedwiththeGo!BridgeIP
Communicatormeetstheserequirements:
•FirmwareVersion1.12(orhigher)
•2GIG‐XCVR900MHzTransceiver
IMPORTANT: ForcompliancewithUL1023:HouseholdBurglar‐
AlarmSystemUnits,theGo!Bridgemustbeinstalledinthe
sameroomastheInternetmodemorrouter.
NOTE: Toprotectdatasentviathelocalwirelessnetwork,itis
recommendedthatyouinstalltheGo!BridgeIPCommunicatoron
alocalnetworkwhereeitherWPA(Wi‐FiProtectedAccess)or
WPA2(Wi‐FiProtectedAccessII)encryptionisalreadyenabled.
Afterinstalling,programming,andtestingtheGo!BridgeIP
Communicator,youwillneedtoregisteranewcustomerwiththethird‐
partymonitoringservice.SeeRegistrationonpage3.

Important Note
ShouldthelocalnetworkloseInternetaccessduetoapoweroutageor
interruption,theGo!BridgeIPCommunicatorisnotequippedwitha
backupbatterysystem.Tobestprepareforpowerfailuresandtoensure
thesecuritysystemmaintainsInternetaccesswiththemonitoring
serviceforlife‐safetycommunicationsduringpowerfailures,thelocal
networkmusthaveadedicatedUninterruptedPowerSupply(UPS)or
backupbatterysolutionfromathird‐partymanufacturerinplace.
LinearLLCdoesnotsupply,provide,recommend,ortesttheGo!Bridge
withanyUPSorbatterybackupsolution.Itisalsoassumedthatowner’s
InternetServiceProvider(ISP)maintainsabackupbattery(orpower
generator)fortheirremotenetworkequipment.
