1. Sicherheitshinweise
Bei nicht ordnungsgemäßem Gebrauch besteht
Kipp- oder Bruchgefahr.
•Fuß fest auf den Fußbügel aufsetzen.
•Beim Pumpen Kolbenstange nicht verbiegen.
•Abstand Pumpe – Experimentiergerät so wäh-
len, dass der Vakuumschlauch nicht herausge-
rissen wird.
2. Beschreibung
Die Kolben-Vakuumpumpe ermöglicht die Durch-
führung aller Vakuum-Experimente, die mit einem
Enddruck von 400 hPa auskommen.
Sie arbeitet nach dem Prinzip einer Doppelhubkol-
benpumpe. Sowohl bei der Aufwärtsbewegung als
auch bei der Abwärtsbewegung des Kolbens wird
Luft aus dem Experimentiergerät gesaugt.

4.1 Schallausbreitung in der Luft
Zur Versuchsdurchführung sind folgende Geräte

5. Wartung
Die Dichtringe müssen immer geschmiert sein.
Dazu:
•Deckel abschrauben und mit Kolben heraus-
ziehen, ggf. reinigen und schmieren.
•Beim Zusammenbau Kolben vorsichtig einset-
zen. Vor der Verschraubung Teile passgerecht
zusammenfügen (vgl. Aufdruck Kolbenpumpe).

1. Safety instructions
Caution: danger of overturning or breakage if used
in an improper manner.
•Place your foot firmly on the stirrup provided
for this purpose.
•Do not put your weight on or bend over the
pump or the piston rod.
•Carefully select the distance between the pump
and the experimental apparatus to ensure that the
vacuum hose is not ripped out or disconnected.
2. Description
The piston vacuum pump can be used for all vac-
uum experiments in which a final pressure of
400 hPa is required.
This vacuum pump operates on the principle of a
double-stroke piston pump. Air is pumped out of
the experiment apparatus both during the upward
and the downward movement of the piston.

4. Sample experiment
4.1 Propagation of sound waves in air
In order to conduct this experiment, the following
apparatus is additionally required.
1 Vacuum cylinder U8421230
1 Base plate U8421225
1 Electric doorbell U21854
1 AC/DC Power Supply U33030

5. Maintenance
Make sure that the sealing rings are always prop-
erly lubricated. To do so, carry out the following
steps:
•Unscrew the lid and remove it along with the
piston. If necessary, clean and lubricate these
components.
•While reassembling, insert the piston properly.
Make sure that the components are assembled
to fit perfectly before screwing them on (also
see the instructions printed on the pump).

1. Consignes de sécurité
En cas d'utilisation non conforme, risque de bascu-
lement ou de destruction.
•Fixez le pied sur le support.
•Lors du pompage, ne pliez pas la tige de pis-
ton.
•Sélectionnez l'écart entre la pompe et l'expé-
rimenteur de manière à ce que le tuyau à vide
ne soit pas arraché.
2. Description
La pompe à vide à piston permet de réaliser des
expériences sur le vide nécessitant seulement une
pression finale de 400 hPa.
Elle fonctionne selon le principe de la pompe à
course double. De l'air est aspiré de l'expérimen-
teur tant pendant le mouvement de montée que
pendant le mouvement de descente.

5. Entretien
Les bagues étanches doivent toujours être lubri-
fiées. Procédure à suivre :
•Dévissez le couvercle et retirez-le avec le pis-
ton, au besoin nettoyez et lubrifiez.
•Lors du réassemblage, montez le piston avec
précaution. Avant de visser les pièces, assem-
blez-les correctement (cf. le schéma sur la
pompe).

1. Norme di sicurezza
In caso di uso improprio, sussiste il pericolo di
ribaltamento o di rottura.
•Poggiare saldamente il piede sull’apposita
staffa.
•Non piegare l’asta del pistone durante il
pompaggio.
•Scegliere la distanza tra la pompa e
l’apparecchio sperimentale in modo tale che il
tubo per vuoto non si distacchi dalla propria
sede, lacerandosi.
2. Descrizione
La pompa per vuoto a pistoni consente di condurre
tutti gli esperimenti che richiedono il vuoto,
compatibili con una pressione finale di 400 hPa.
Essa agisce secondo il principio di una doppia
pompa di sollevamento a pistoni. L’aria viene
aspirata dall’apparecchio sperimentale sia durante
il movimento ascendente che discendente del
pistone.

5. Manutenzione
Gli anelli di tenuta devono sempre essere
lubrificati. A tal fine:
•Svitare il coperchio ed estrarlo con il pistone,
procedendo alla pulizia e alla lubrificazione se
necessario.
•Inserire il pistone con cautela in fase di
assemblaggio. Assemblare i componenti
correttamente prima di procedere
all’avvitamento (cfr. Caricamento pompa a
pistoni)

1. Aviso de seguridad
Con un uso incorrecto existe el peligro de
volcamiento o de fractura.
•Asentar el pie firmemente en el estribo.
•Al bombear, no curvar la varilla del émbolo.
•Elegir la distancia entre la bomba y el aparato
de experimentación de manera que la
manguera de vacío no se desprenda.
2. Descripción
La bomba de émbolo aquí descrita posibilita la
realización de todos los experimentos de vacío para
los que es suficiente una presión final de 400 hPa.
Trabaja según el principio de una bomba de
émbolo de doble carrera. Tanto durante el
movimiento ascendente como durante el
descendente se absorbe aire del aparato de
experimentación.

4.1 Propagación del sonido en el aire

5. Mantenimiento
Los aros retenedores deben estar siempre
engrasados. Además:
•Destornillar la tapa y retirarla con el émbolo;
dado el caso, limpiar y engrasar.
•Al ensamblar, colocar con cuidado el émbolo.
Antes de atornillar, ensamblar las piezas
correctamente. (compárese con instrucciones
impresas en la bomba de émbolo).

1. Indicações de segurança
Em caso de uso não adequado existe o risco de
queda ou quebra do aparelho.
•Pisar firmemente na alça de pé.
•Não entortar a vara do pistão ao bombear.
•Estabelecer uma distância entre a bomba e o
aparelho experimental que garanta que a
mangueira de vácuo não seja arrancada.
2. Descrição
A bomba de vácuo de pistão permite a execução de
todas as experiências com o vácuo que requerm
uma pressão final de até 400 hPa.
Ela funciona conforme o princípio de uma bomba
de pistão duplo. É sugado ar do aparelho experi-
mental tanto no movimento ascendente como no
movimento descendente.

5. Manutenção
As juntas em anel devem sempre estar bem lubrifi-
cadas. Para tal:
•Soltar a tampa e retirar com os pistões, caso
necessário limpar e lubrificar.
•Durante a montagem, instalar os pistões com
cuidado. Antes de aparafusar garantir um a-
juste exato das peças (comp. com ilustração na
bomba de pistão).
