General Purpose -lqinchx 36 yd
Applies adhesive while removing/rewinding liner.
1. Press latch "A' and lift to open cover.
Hold rewind wheel "B", rotate diamond shaped
tape rewind cover "C" counterclockwise and lift
up to remove.
3. Place tape with liner tab at the bottom
pointing toward the roller "D", Place tape
roll on tape wheel and gently push down
and rotate back and forth until "E" locks
in place.
4. Press trigger and hold. Thread the plaid
leader over the ribbed roller "F", under the
smooth roller "G" and over the tape roll to
the rewind wheel hub. Refer to the arrows
in the applicator, Stop when plaid leader
reaches the back rewind wheel and thread
through slots in a "w" pattern. Continue
pressing trigger and rotate rewind wheel
clockwise to bring adhesive forward to the
front roller. Replace tape rewind cover and
close cover.
Rub adhesive back and forlh on the front
roller "G" with thumb until adhesive breaks,
making sure you do not br:eak the liner.
To start application: Place (front) roller "H" 0n surlace,
press trigger, and pull glider toward you.
7. To end application: Keep applying roller on sufface, stop, release
trigger and continue to pull glider toward you to break tape. "1"
8. To remove rewound liner, rotate and remove diamond shaped tape
rewind cover "J". Remove liner. To remove tape core, push hook
"K" and remove tape core.
Lubrication/Cleaning
Lubrication: All shafts should be periodically lubricated with white
petroleum jelly.
cleaning: Disassemble as required. Remove excess tape from glider using
50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water solution.
Note: Follow the solvent manufacturer's precautions and directions for use
when using solvents.
Re-Loading in the middle of the roll
lf you need to thread a partially used tape roll, first remove approximately
10" 0f adhesive from the tape liner. Then continue to load the glider
according to directions.
