INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the GA5100 mixer
amplier from Asystems. The GA5100 oers users with
an easy and exible solution to contractors and engineers
alike to easily incorporate a host of possible sources into
two zones. Output connection is varied, allowing both ¼”
phone jack and screw-terminals to be used, depending
on the application. A USB playback module is on to allow
incorporation of MP3 or WAV les to the device.
Please take the time to read this manual thoroughly
before use. Inside you will nd useful hints and safety tips
to ensure the unit is used correctly� Once read, please
store in an easy-to-nd place so as to ensure you can nd
it at a later date�

GETTING STARTED
1. Before turning the power on, the Master output control
should be set to -∞.
2. Always turn the power o before connecting or
disconnecting cables.
3. Check the AC outlet to ensure it is of a suitable voltage
before connecting the AC plug of this device.
4. Do not obstruct the back panel due to the heat sink
and air vents needing ventilation�
5. Please ensure the distance between the back of the
GA5100 and the wall is over 1�5 feet to ensure the
device gets the ventilation which it needs�
FRONT PANEL
1. Microphone Input
This ¼” TS connectors are for the addition of microphone
signals to channel 1 of the GA5100� Users can also use
the Combo jacks on the rear of the device.
2. Level Controls
These level controls adjust the incoming signal level from
the microphone and line input jacks�
3. Echo Control
This control will adjust the level of the incoming signal
from input channels that will be aected by the built-in
echo eect.
4. Treble Control
This control allows users to boost or cut the level of high
frequency audio that will be oered in the main signal.
5. Bass Control
The bass control allows users to boost or cut the level of
low frequency audio in the main signal�
6. Volume Control
This control will adjust the nal output level of the GA5100�
7. Talkover Button
This button will give priority to the microphone signals from
input channel 1� When activated, anytime the microphone
connected to channel 1 is used all other signals will dip
down by 25 dB to give priority to the mic. The signal
will return to normal 2 seconds after you stop speaking
through the microphone�
8. Alert & Announce Buttons
These two buttons will send an alert or an announce
tone through to the speakers. The altert button can also
be used to activate a siren, the length of which will be
2 minutes and 30 seconds. Pushing the Alert button a
second time will disengage the siren. The ‘’announce’
button will active a 3 second ‘do mi so do’ tone to indicate
an announcement� Activating either of these tones will cut
out all music and other input sources�
9. Zone 1 and 2 Buttons
These buttons determine the destination of the mixer’s
input signals� Pushing zone 1 will send the signal to the
zone 1 screw terminal outputs on the rear, and pushing
zone 2 will send the signal to the zone 2 screw terminal
outputs�

10. Play Button
Push this button to start and pause playback of the
currently displayed track� Starting a track after it is paused
will resume the track from the point at which it was paused�
Pushing and holding this button will revert back to the rst
track on the USB memory stick�
11. Back/Forward Buttons
Pushing these buttons will allow users to skip back and
forwards between tracks in sequence. The can also be
used to scroll through menu items when navigating the
USB player’s options.
10. Stop/Menu Button
This button will allow users to stop playback on currently
playing tracks. Push and hold the button to access the
menu, allowing the repeat status (and other parameters)
to be changed.
13. USB Port
Connect your USB ash drive to this input. Once a drive
is connected, the les will initiate and the rst track will
appear paused on screen�
14. Display
This display will display the track number currently being
played and the time current play time� It also indicates the
current playback status.
15. VU Meter
This meter will display the GA5100’s output signal level.
16. Tape Input
These stereo RCA inputs can be used to connect external
devices to the GA5100� These may include CD players,
MP3 players or laptop computers. Also included are 1/8”
mini-stereo inputs for more versatile installation�
17. Tape Input Control
This control adjusts the incoming signal level from the RCA
tape input connectors� This also controls the incoming
signal from the GA5100’s USB player.
18. Line Output
These RCA connectors will send the main signal out to
external input devices� This could include secondary
mixers, recording devices or additional ampliers/
speakers�
19. Power Button
This button is pushed to turn the device on and o.
REAR PANEL
20. Combo Inputs
These ‘combo’ jacks allow connection of both ¼” TS and
XLR inputs, appropriate for use with microphones� These
inputs are found on input channels one through three�
21. Line-level Input
The GA5100 oers two channels for line-level inputs.
Channel 4 has ¼” TRS and stereo RCA connectors, while
channel 5 has 1/8” mini-stereo and RCA connectors.
These can be used with most consumer and professional
audio equipment�
22. Link Output
These ¼” TS connectors will send the main signal out
to external input devices� This could include secondary
mixers, recording devices or additional ampliers/
speakers�
23. Link Input
These ¼” TS connectors will accept input signals from
external sources� This could include secondary mixers or
playback devices.
24. Sig Link Button
The Signal Link button is used to decide whether the main
signal will combine both the source signals from input
channels and the signal from the link input jack� When the
Signal Link button is released, signals will be combined,
whereas when the button is pushed in the main signal will
be that of the link input only.
25. Screw Terminal Speaker Outputs
These connections are used for output to speakers� They
oer 100V line output for both zones 1 and 2, as well as
two additional terminals for 4 ohm connectivity�
26. 24V Battery Input
These banana-plug input connectors can be connected
to the positive and negative terminals of a 24V DC power
source� This allows the unit to function even in the event
of power outages�
Also included is a battery recharge switch that will allow
the battery to be charged. Asystems suggests that this
switch be kept in the o position unless recharging the
battery.
27. Power Cable
This power cable should be connected to a suitable AC
power source in order to operate the GA5100�
28. Fuse
Turn this fuse holder to release the fuse enclosure� In the
event that a fuse burns, users can replace it with another
identical 2 amp fuse�

INPUT WIRING
Asystems recommends that customers use pre-built
balanced line connectors with 22 to 24 gauge cable.
Unbalanced connections could also be used however are
susceptible to noise.
USB MODULE (PLAYBACK)
1� Power on the device�
2. Insert an appropriately formatted USB ash drive.
Asystems recommends a FAT-32 le system.
3. Navigate to the Playback option in the main menu
and press the PLAY button. Select the U-disk as your
playback source.
4. Press the PLAY button to play the current track, or
the 9 and : buttons to skip forward and backwards
between tracks.
5� Use the USB/TAPE IN level control to adjust the
volume�
6. Press the STOP/MENU button to access the main
menu (which also features Repeat Mode and
Recording functions)�
OUTPUT WIRING
Speakers
Output to speakers can be achieved by slipping cable lugs
underneath the output screw terminals� Tighten screws
to fasten in place� Customers may choose to use crimp-
on spade lugs� Asystems recommends that customers
use professionally wired high gauge cables. The plastic
cover can be slid into place to protect connections. It is
recommended that you insulate exposed wires to help
prevent against the possibility of short-circuits. Class 2
wiring is required�
WIRING ZONES 1 AND 2 (100V)
The best way to provide power to numerous low-powered
speakers is by creating a distributed line. This allows multiple
lowimpedance speakers to be used simultaneously (through use
of a line transformer, standard in many contractor speakers)� The
zone 1 and 2 connectors allow users to create a distributed line
for use with multiple speakers� Each zone provides a 100V and a
0 connector, where 100V is connected to the power tap of a line
transformer and 0 is connected to the COM connector on a line
transformer�

COMENZANDO

PANEL FRONTAL
1. Entrada de Micrófono

6. Control De Volumen
Este control ajustará el nivel de salida nal de la señal
principal�
7. Botón Talkback
Este botón dará prioridad a las señales de micrófono
procedentes del canal de entrada 1� Cuando se active, en
cualquier momento que se utilice el micrófono conectado
al canal 1, todas las otras señales disminuirán de 25 dB
para dar prioridad al micrófono. La señal volverá a la
normalidad 2 segundos después de que se deje de hablar
a través del micrófono�
8. Botones de Alerta y Anunciados
Estos dos botones enviarán un tono de alerta o aunciado
mediante de los altavoces. El botón de alerta puede ser
usado para activar la sirena, la duración de lo cual será
2 minutos a 30 segundos. Presionando el botón de Alerta
a segundo tiempo será soltado de la sirena. El botón de
¨anunciado¨ será activa a 3 segundos en tonos de ¨do
mi so do¨ para indicar un anunciado. Activando estos u
otros tonos se aternuará toda la música y otras fuentes
de entrada�
9. Botones de Zona 1 y Zona 2
Estos botones determinan la destinación de la señal de
la mezcladora. Precionando zona 1 enviará la señal a la
salida del terminal clema de zona 1 en la parte posterior,
y precionando zona 2 enviará la señal de salidas del
terminal crema a zona 2�
10. Botón Play/Pause
Pulse este botón para iniciar y pausar la reproducción
de la pista actualmente visualizada� La pista continuará
la reproducción del audio desde el punto en el que se
hizo la pausa. Este control también se puede utilizar para
conrmar las selecciones cuando se navega por el menú
principal�
11. Botones de Retorno (Back) y Adelantar (Foward)
Empujar estos botones permitirá a los usuarios saltar
hacia atrás y hacia adelante, entre las pistas en secuencia�
También se utilizan para desplazarse por los elementos
del menú principal�
12. Botón Stop/Menú
Pulse este botón para detener la pista que se está

principal del reproductor USB (para ajustar el modo de

Conecte su USB ash drive a esta entrda. Una vez que el

Esta pantalla le mostrara el número de pista que se está
reproduciendo actualmente; adicionalmente se mostrara

GA5100�
16. Entrada Tape
Estas entradas de estéreo RCA pueden ser usadas para
conectar dispositivos externos al GA5100� Estos pueden
ser reproductores de CD, MP3 o computadoras portátiles�
También incluye entradas mini-estéreo 1/8” para más
instalaciones versátiles�
17. Contro de Entrada Tape
Este control ajusta el nivel de señal de entrada desde los
conectores de entrada RCA tape. Esto también controla
la entrada de señal desde el reproductor de USB en el
GA5100�

CABLEADO DE ENTRADA
Asystems recomienda a los usuarios, utilizar una línea
de conexión simétrica pre-fabricada, con cables de un
calibre de 22 a 24. Las conexiones asimétricas pueden
ser usadas, sin embargo son sensibles al ruido.
ENCABLADO DE SALIDA
Altavoces
La conexión entre salidas y altavoces se puede hacer
utilizando terminales de cables, conectándolos a través
del terminal a tornillo (screw terminals)�Apriete los tornillos
de terminal rmemente. Los clientes pueden quizás elegir
utilizar enganches de terminales de horquilla� Asystems
recomienda que los clientes usen cables profesionales de
gran calibre. La cobertura de plástico puede ser deslizada
en sitio para proteger las conexiones� Es recomendado
que usted aísle los cables expuestos para prevenir las
posibilidades de corto-circuitos. Un cableado de Clase 2
es indispensable.
REPRODUCTOR USB
(MODULO USB)
1� Encienda el dispositivo�
2� Inserte una llave USB ( Asystems recomienda un
sistema en formato FAT32)�
3� Vaya a la opción Reproducción en el menú principal y
presione el botón PLAY. Seleccione el disco U como
su fuente de reproducción�
4. Presione el botón PLAY para reproducir la pista actual
o los botones 9 y : para saltar hacia delante y hacia
atrás entre las pistas�
5� Utilice el control de nivel USB / TAPE IN para ajustar
el volumen�
6. Pulse el botón STOP / MENU para acceder al menú
principal (que También incluye funciones de modo de
repetición y grabación).
ZONAS DE CABLEADO 1 Y 2 (100V)
La mejor manera de proporcionar energía a numerosos
altavoces de baja potencia, es crear una línea de
distribución . Esto permite que varios altavoces de baja
impedancia puedan ser utilizados al mismo tiempo
(se puede utilizar un transformador de línea, que se
encuentra a menudo en los altavoces de contratistas)�
Los conectores de la zona 1 y 2, permiten que los

PANEL POSTERIOR
20. Combo de Entradas
Estos ¨combo¨ jacks permite conexiones de ambas
entradas 1/4”” TS y XLR, apropiado para usos con
micrófonos� Estas entradas son encontradas en entradas
de canales desde uno al tres�
21. Entrada Nivel-Línea
El GA5100 ofrece dos canales para entrada de nivel-
línea. Canal 4 tiene conectoeres 1/4” TRS y estéreo
RCA, mientras que el Canal 5 tiene 1/8” mini-estéreo y
conectores RCA� Estos pueden ser usados con la mayoría
de equipo audio profesional y consumidora�
22. Enlace De Salida/ Link Output
Estos conectores TS de 6.35mm ( ¼”) aceptan señales
de entrada desde fuentes externas� Esto podría incluir
mezcladoras secundarias, dispositivos de reproducción o
mezcaldores/altavoces adicionales�
23. Enlace De Entrada / Link Input
Estos conectores TS de 6.35mm ( ¼”) aceptan señales
de entrada desde fuentes externas, como mezcaldores u
otros de reproducción adicionales�
24. Botón De Señal De Enlace
El botón de señal de enlace se utiliza para decidir si la
señal principal de la GA5100 combinará: i) Las señales
de fuente (Source Signal) desde los canales de entrada;
ii) La señal del conector de entrada en enlace(link input
jack). Al soltar el botón de señal de enlace, las señales
estarán combinadas, mientras que cuando se pulsa el
botón en la señal principal del GA5100 sólo funcionara la
entrada de enlace�
25. Salida de Altavoces Terminal clema
Estas conexiones son usadas para salida a altavoz� Estos
ofrecen línea de salida 100V para ambas zonas 1 y 2, así
como dos terminales adicionales para conectivilidad de
4 ohm�
26. Entrada de Bateria 24V
Esta entrada de conectores banana-plug puede ser
conectada a terminales positivas y negativas de 24V DC
fuente de potencia� Esto permite que la unidad funcione
hasta en eventos de sobrecargas de potencia.
También incluye un interruptor de cargardor para bateria
que permite la recarga de bateria. Phonic le sugiere
que este interruptor esté en posición de apagado (o) al
menos que este recargando la bateria.
27. Cable de Fuente
Este cable de fuente debe ser conectado a un apropiado
fuente de potencia AC para operar el GA5100�
28. Fusible
Active este soporte de fusible para liberar el cercado del
fusible. En caso de que el fusible se queme, los usuarios
pueden remplazarlo con otro fusible identico de 2 amp.
