Station User Guide
The 924 System AB-66218 Telephone is a versatile instrument, designed to simplify call
processing at your fingertips. Equipped with a Large Screen, it continuously prompts the
user with features and functions that are intuitive enough to provide you with the right
function at the right time.
To make it simple, Abrivo provides one model telephone for the 924 system. This telephone
has all the bells and whistles needed to manage your telephone traffic.

•The system has 80 System Speed Dial bins available. System Speed Dial bins are
programmed in both the System Database and/or the attendant Database
programming mode. To access the system speed dial bins, the user can either dial
the feature code followed by the bin number, or program the bins under an available

Line Busy Camp On
From time to time, you might find that all the lines are occupied by other users. The
system allows you to “Camp On” to a busy line, so when it becomes free, the system will
automatically give you the line to use.

Placing a Call on System Hold
•While talking on a line, press the HOLD key. The Line key will flash Green steadily.
To retrieve the Line, depress the held Line key, or press HOLD again.
•When a Line is holding, it will flash Red on other extensions. Those extensions can
pick up the held call by pressing the held Line key.
Placing a Call on Exclusive Hold
•While talking on a Line, you can put the call on Exclusive hold at your extension by
pressing the [Feature] key followed by the HOLD key.
•The Line will flash Green quickly. On all other extensions, the Line will be let solid
Red, and those extensions can not pick up the exclusive Hold.
•To retrieve the Line from Exclusive Hold, press the held Line, or press the HOLD key
again.
Note:
When the system Exclusive Hold timer expires, the Line will be placed in System Hold
status where any other extension can then access the held Line.
This value can be set for “0” which means that the Line will stay in the Exclusive Hold
status indefinitely.
Switching Calls on Hold
•You can switch between calls that are on hold at your extension by pressing the HOLD
key.

Transferring Calls
•While talking on a Line, press the TRANS button followed by the extension number,
or press the Direct Station Selection (DSS) button followed by the TRANS button.
Announce the call and hang up.
ParkingCalls [Feature]73
•Parking calls on an extension allows you to Page a party over the system or external
paging speakers and announce that a call is parked for retrieval.
To Park Calls on an Extension:

Note:
If the call park time expires, (set at 30 seconds in default), the Line will recall back to

Picking Up Calls

•If a Line is not programmed to ring on your extension, and you hear a Line ringing on
other extensions, you can dial a Group Call Pickup code to answer the Line.
•When you hear a Line ringing, lift receiver and dial [Feature] 54

•If a Line is not programmed to ring on your extension, and you hear a Line ringing on
a particular extension, you can dial a Directed Call Pickup code to answer the Line.
•When you hear a Line ringing on a particular extension, lift receiver and dial [Feature]
53 followed by the extension number that you hear ringing from.
Conferencing
•The system allows for 4 way conference calling. Maximum outside Lines in a
conference is 3.

Note:
•If a feature key is programmed as a Direct Station Selection (DSS) key, you can simply
press the appropriate DSS button to intercom other Extensions on the system.
•Once you intercom an Extension, you can voice announce directly over the speaker.
The other party has hands free answerback and can speak without lifting their
receiver.

When you call a busy Extension you have several options:
1. Call Back: When the Extension becomes available, the system will alert you, and then
you can call the Extension.
2. Message: Provides 2 options. Sets a message at the busy Extension, or by pressing the
F3 key, you can select one of 7 pre-programmed messages.

Choosing EMPTY allows you to key in any message you would like. The following shows

•To key in small letters, press 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 followed by '*'.
•To key in numbers, press '*'+1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0
