(55228) Place fabric side up over small circle, rounded rectangle and arched window. Cut 2 of each.

(55228) Fold fabric right sides together. Place over camper trim. Cut 1 and 1 reversed.

(55228) Place fabric side down over camper. Cut 1.

Sewing Directions:
Press all seams open and use ¼" seams, unless otherwise indicated.
LUMBER
NOTE: Directions will be for one 8 finished block. Make 2 blocks.
1. Sew one cream 2” finished half square triangle (HST)
(Shape 5) to opposite sides of one green stripe 4”
finished Quarter Square Triangle (QST) (Shape 4).
Make 2 green stripe flying geese. Repeat with multi
cream HST (Shape 5) and green QST. Make 2 green
flying geese.
2. Sew two green flying geese together on long side as
shown. Make 1 green tree top unit. Repeat with green
flying geese. Make 1 green stripe tree top unit.
3. Sew one cream 4” finished Triangle in a Square Side
Triangle (Shape 14) to opposite sides of one green
stripe 4” finished Triangle in a Square Center (Shape 13)
as shown. Make 1 green stripe tree bottom. Repeat with
multi cream (Shape 14) and green (Shape 13). Make 1
green tree bottom.
4. Sew one green tree top to one green tree bottom. Make
one green tree. Repeat with green stripe tree top and
tree bottom. Make one green stripe tree.
5. Sew one green tree to one green stripe tree. Make one
Lumber block.

CAMPING SPOT
NOTE: Directions will be for one 8” finished block. Make 2 blocks.
1. Arrange two cream and two multi cream 2” finished
squares (Shape 2) as shown. Sew together. Make 3 sky
rows.
2. Arrange two green stripe and two green (Shape 2) as
shown. Sew together. Make 1 grass row.
3. Arrange 3 sky rows and 1 grass row as shown. Sew
rows together. Make 1 Camping Spot Block.
Alternate option for appliqué before quilt top assembly:
1. Back Camping Blocks with tear away stabilizer before
applying camper shapes from Camper die (55228) in
desired order onto Camping Spot blocks. Secure with
free embroidery files HERE. Or use machine embroidery
stitch as desired—small zig-zag, button hole, or straight
stitch. Remove tear away stabilizer.
2. Back two cream word strips with tear away stabilizer
before applying letters WANDER OFTEN to top word
strip. Apply letters WONDER ALWAYS to bottom word
strip. Secure as desired. Remove tear away stabilizer.
3. Continue on to Quilt Top assembly skipping steps 7 and
8.

Assemble the Quilt Top
4. Lay out word strip borders and word strips. Sew into
rows. Lay out cornerstones, sashing rectangles,
Lumber blocks, and Camping Spot blocks as shown.
Sew together into rows
5. Sew rows together. Press seams in opposite directions.
Make 1 quilt center.
6. Sew long cream floral borders to left and right side of
quilt center. Press to border. Sew blue outer
cornerstones to short cream floral borders. Press to
borders. Make 2 top/bottom border units. Sew
top/bottom border units to quilt center. Press to border.
Make 1 quilt top.
7. Apply camper shapes from Camper die (55228) in
desired order. Secure with free embroidery files HERE.
Or use machine embroidery stitch as desired—small
zig-zag, button hole, or straight stitch.
8. Apply letters WANDER OFTEN in top word strip. Apply
letters WONDER ALWAYS in bottom word strip. Secure
as desired.

Quilting and Finishing
1. Layer batting between quilt top and backing.
2. Pin or baste layers together.
3. Quilt as desired.
4. Add binding, mitering corners.
