Wenn ein Akku nicht ordnungsgemäß angeschlossen wird, besteht Feuer- und Explosionsgefahr.
Laden Sie LiPo Akkus nur unter Aufsicht.
Unterbrechen Sie den Ladevorgang sollte sich der LiPo-Akku aufblähen oder verformen!
Lagern Sie LiPo-Akkus bei 15-25°C.
Vermeiden Sie die Erhitzung des verwendeten Akkus bei Entladung über 50° C
Nicht kurzschließen, nicht ins Feuer werfen!
Verwenden Sie stets Original-Akkus.
Verwenden Sie nur den originalen LiPo-Akku
Wenn sich der Akku verformt, verfärbt oder weich wird, darf dieser nicht mehr verwendet werden
Lagern Sie den Akku bei Temperaturen zwischen 15° und 25° an trockenen und dunkeln Orten. Der Ladezustand
muss min. 75% betragen
Unzugänglich für Kinder und Tiere lagern
Fernhalten von Feuer, Wasser, Wärmequellen und Fremdstoffe die einen Kurzschluss verursachen können

Aufbau und Funktionen der Fernbedienung

Erste Schritte und Informationen
Lesen Sie die Anleitung vollständig durch.
Bei dem zoopa Q mantis handelt es sich um ein RTF (Ready-to-Fly) Modell.
Zur Inbetriebnahme werden lediglich 6x 1,5V AA Mignon Batterien für die Fernbedienung benötigt.
Öffnen Sie dazu das Akkufach auf der Rückseite der Fernsteuerung und legen die Batterien gemäß
der Abbildung ein. Verschließen Sie wieder das Akkufach.

Beschädigungen an Privateigentum, die durch den Nutzer des Modells entstanden sind.

Laden des Akkus
Der mitgelieferte LiPo Akku wird durch das enthaltene Lademodul aufgeladen.
Verbinden Sie das Lademodul mit einer 220V Steckdose, die LED des Lademodul leuchtet grün auf.
Schließen Sie den LiPo Akku an das Ladekabel an. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung und den festen
Sitz des Steckers. Der Stecker und Buchse weisen eine Führung auf.

Der Ladevorgang kann 60-80 Minuten dauern. Wenn der Akku vollständig geladen ist, leuchtet LED-
Lampe dauerhaft grün.
Verwenden Sie bitte nur original zoopa Q mantis Akkus. Akkus anderer Hersteller können neben
falscher Polarität eine abweichende Leistung aufweisen, die die Flugeigenschaften erheblich
verändern. Falsche Polung führt zur Beschädigung der Modells.
Montage des Landegestells
Es sind nur noch wenige Schritte notwendig um mit dem ersten Flug zu starten.
Stecken Sie die beiden Kufen in die dafür vorgesehenen Aufnahmen an der Unterseite des
zoopa Q mantis.
Achten Sie darauf, dass auf der Seite wo die optionale Kamera eingesteckt, die Kufe mit der
Aussparung montiert wird.
Verschrauben Sie die Kufen mit den 4 Schrauben aus dem Lieferumfang.

Einlegen und Verbinden des Akkus
Schalten Sie die Fernbedienung ein. Die Betriebs-LED der Fernsteuerung beginnt zu blinken.
Bewegen Sie nun den Gashebel (links) bis Anschlag nach unten.
Drehen Sie die Schraube des Akkufachs an der Unterseite des zoopa Q mantis heraus. Ziehen Sie
nun den Akkudeckel zur Rückseite des Modells. Legen Sie den zuvor geladenen Akku in das Akkufach
ein.
Achten Sie beim Anschluss des Akkus an das Modell auf die richtige Polung!
Legen Sie den Akku in das Fach und verstauen die Kabel, so dass diese nicht geknickt oder
eingeklemmt werden. Die LED-Beleuchtung des Modells blinkt. Verschließen Sie danach das
Akkufach wieder.
Schalten Sie immer zuerst die Fernsteuerung an und danach das Modell!
Ausschalten: erst das Flugmodell, dann die Fernsteuerung!
Aus der Verpackung heraus sind Fernsteuerung und Flugmodell bereits miteinander gebunden.
Dieses bedeutet das Fernsteuerung und das Modell flugfertig sind.
Anfänger- und Profimodus
Sie können zwischen dem Einsteiger, Fortgeschrittenen - und Profimodus in drei Optionen
umschalten. Im Anfängermodus fliegt der Quadrocopter mit verringertem Anstellwinkel. Hier können
Sie langsam alle Funktionen austesten. In den zwei zusätzlichen Modis, fliegt jeweils das Modell
schneller und agiler.
Dazu wird bei bereits eingeschalteter Fernsteuerung die obere linke Taste gedrückt.
Die Fernsteuerung bestätigt dieses durch eine Piep-Ton-Folge.
1 – Anfänger (70% Ausschläge / Motorleistung)
2 - Fortgeschritten (85% Ausschläge / Motorleistung)
3 – Profi (100% Ausschläge / Motorleistung)

.Erste Versuche und Flughinweise
Bevor Sie Ihre ersten Flugversuche machen achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine weiteren Personen
oder Tiere in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden.
Halten Sie sich eine Fläche von 3x3 Metern frei!
Stellen Sie den zoopa Q mantis auf eine ebene Fläche.
Die orangefarbenen Rotorblätter stellen die Frontseite des Modells da. Die weißen Rotorblätter
markieren das Heck des Quadrokopters. Die unterschiedlichen Rotorfarben dienen der einfacheren
Orientierung während des Flugs. Stellen Sie sich ca. 2 Meter hinter das Modell und machen Sie sich
mit den Funktionen vertraut, die Ihnen auf der nächsten Seite beschrieben werden.
Geben Sie zunächst nur sehr wenig Gas, um die Funktion der Rotoren zu testen.
Steigen / Sinken
Bewegen Sie den Gashebel (links) nach oben, um
das Modell steigen und ab um das Modell sinken
zu lassen
Rechts / Links
Bewegen Sie den Controllstick (rechts) nach
links oder rechts, um das Modell nach links oder
rechts schwenken zu lassen
Drehung
Bewegen Sie den linken Hebel nach
links oder rechts, um das Modell um die
eigene Achse zu drehen
Vorwärts / Rückwärts
Bewegen Sie den Controllstick (rechts)
nach oben oder unten, um nach Vorne oder Hinten
zu fliegen

360° Flip Funktion
Das Modell bietet eine Flip-(Salto) Funktion.
Drücken Sie dazu den Taster rechts oben an der Fernsteuerung.
Achten Sie darauf das genüged Platz für diese Option haben - Flughöhe mindestens 1,50 Meter.
Orientation Modus
Dieser Modus erleichtert besonders dem Anfänger die Steuerung des Quadrokopters.
Dabei speichert sich dieser die Ausrichtung der Positionen beim Start.
Wenn man diesen im Flug dreht sind für den Piloten die Steuerbefehle verdreht. Dieses kann am Anfang zu
Irritationen führen.
Abhilfe schafft die Orientation Modus Funktion. Dadurch werden weiterhin die Steuerbefehle aus der Richtung
der Startposition in Relation ausgeführt.
Das Drehen des Modells (Gieren) wird im Orientation Modus entkoppelt.
Das Modell orientiert sich beim Flug an der X/Y Achse unabhängig von der Ausrichtung des Modells.
Das bedeutet, das sich der zoopa Q mantis unabhängig von der eigenen Ausrichtung mit Bewegung des
rechten Steuerknüppel nach vorn oder hinten auf der Y-Achse bewegt, während links/rechts der
Quadrokopter auf der X-Achse steuert.
Bitte beachten: Der Modus muss vor dem Start über die abgebildete
Taste aktiviert werden! Hierzu müssen Sie wie beschrieben ca. 2 Meter
Hinter dem Modell stehen. Die weißen Rotoren zeigen in diesem Fall
zu ihnen!
Piepton-Folge:
erster Tastendruck >> Modus aktiv
(langer Ton, gefolgt durch dauerhaftes piepen)
zweiter Tastendruck >>Modus deaktiviert (dreimal piepen)

Kamera Funktion (optional)
Video- und Foto Aufnahme
Das Modell verfügt über eine Vorrichtung um eine optionale Kamera zu befestigen. Diese wird unter
der Akkufachklappe geschraubt.
Zusätzlich muß das Kabel in die Buchse am Flugmodell gesteckt werden.
Das Auslösen der Kamera erfolgt über die Fernsteuerung.
Akku Pflege
Für eine lange Lebensdauer des enthaltenen Akkus befolgen Sie bitte nachstehende Punkte:
- das Flugmodell nie eingeschaltet lagern, beim Nichtgebrauch immer ausschalten
- das Modell nur mit geladenem Akku lagern (min. zu 85%)
- die Verbindung vom Akku zum Flugmodell trennen
- Lagerung nur bei Zimmertemperatur
- den Akku regelmäßig alle 3 Monate nachladen, auch wenn das Flugmodell nicht genutzt wird
Wenn diese Punkte nicht beachtet werden, kann der LiPo-Akku beschädigt bzw. zerstört werden.
Dieses ist grundsätzlich bei LiPo-Akkus physikalisch bedingt.
Propeller wechseln
Ein Wechsel des Propellers ist mit wenigen Schritten getan.
Drehen Sie dazu die Schraube mit dem beiliegenden Schraubendreher aus dem Propellerschaft
heraus. Ziehen Sie danach den Propeller von der Achse ab.
Achten Sie beim Aufstecken des neuen Propellers, darauf das Sie den richtigen Propeller
(Drehrichtung A oder B) verwenden. Drehen Sie danach die Schraube wieder Handfest auf der
Motorwelle fest.
Drehrichtung im Uhrzeigersinn (Propeller A): links vorne und rechts hinten
Drehrichtung gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (Propeller B): rechts vorne und links hinten
Die Markierungen A / B befindet sich an der Propeller-Wurzel (Nahe der Propeller Mitte)

Setup and functions of the Radio

First steps and information
Read this manual carefully.
The zoopa Q 600 Mantis is a RTF (Ready-to-Fly) model.
For activation, you additionally require 6x 1.5V AA mignon batteries for the controller. Please insert
these inside the battery housing that is located on the backside of the controller. Make sure you have
closed the cover after you have inserted the batteries.
ACME the game company GmbH assumes no liability for privacy violations and damage to private
property caused by the user of the model.
Please follow carefully the instructions in this manual step by step, to ensure proper handling.

Charging the Battery
The LiPo battery will be charged with the supplied charging module.
Connect the charger with a 220V outlet and wait for the green LED to light up. Now connect the LiPo
battery. Check the polarity and make sure that it has been plugged firmly. The plug offers a lead.

Charging takes 60-80 minutes. Once the battery is fully charged, the green LED will shine
permanently. Please use the original battery only! Wrong polarity can destroy the Model electronics
Mounting the landing gears
Only a few steps are required to start the first flight.
Plug both landing skids into the provided holes on the bottom of the
zoopa Q mantis.
Please note that the landing gear with the notch has to be mounted on the side that offers space for an
optional camera.
Use the 4 provided screws to tighten the landing gears.

Inserting the battery
Switch on the controller. The Power LED starts flashing. Pull down the gas stick (left).
Once the battery is fully charged, you can insert it inside the housing of the zoopa Q mantis.
Dismount the screw of the battery housing and pull back the cover.
Check the polarity of the battery before you connect it!
Insert the battery inside the housing and store the cables carefully. Remount the cover. The LEDs of
the model start to flash.
Always switch on the controller before you connect the battery!
Always disconnect the battery from the model before you switch off the controller.
Controller and model are already paired out of the box.
Beginner, Advanced and Professional mode
You can choose between beginner and professional mode in 3 steps. The model flies with lower speed
in beginner mode. This helps you to carefully check all controls. When choosing the 2 additional
modes, the model will fly faster and more agile.
To change the modes, press the left button on the top of controller while the model is already
activated.
A beep- sound will confirm the setting.
1 - Beginner (70% scale deflection/ motor power)
2 - Advanced (85% scale deflection / motor power)
3 - Professional (100% full deflection / motor power)

First fly
Before you perform your first flights, make sure that there are no persons or animals nearby.
Keep a free area of 3x3 meters !
Place the zoopa Q600 Mantis on an even surface.
The orange rotors show the front of the model. The white rotors show the rear of the quadrocopter.
The different colors help you to have a better orientation during flight. Stand around 2m behind the
model and test the different functions that are described below.
Pull the gas stick up slowly at first.
Up / Down
Move the gas stick (left lever) up to rise the model
and pull it down to decrease the height.
Right / Left
Move the control stick (right lever) to pan the
model to the left and right.
Turn
Move the left stick to the left or right to perform a
turn around the own axis.
Forwards / Backwards
Move the control stick (right)
up and down to fly forward and backward.

360° Flip Mode
To perform a 360° flip, press the upper right button as shown below.
By pressing the button, you can now move the model at it own tilting axis. Make sure that you have
sufficient space and flight height (min 2m) when performing this.
Orientation Mode
This mode will ease flying for beginners.
The direction of the model will be automatically saved at start.
When turning the model in the air, the pilot might be confused because of the flight direction.
The orientation mode will assist to avoid this. As a result, the control commands from the direction of the starting
position will continue to run in relation.
The rotation of the model (yaw) is decoupled through the orientation mode.
The model orientates itself based on the flight of the X / Y axis, independent from the actual flight direction.
This means, that the zoopa Q flies forward or backward when using the right control stick, while the left control
stick steers the X- axis.
Please note: This mode has to be activated before start through the
shown button! Please step 2 meters behind the model. The white rotors
have to point towards you!
Beep explanation:
First push >> Mode activated
(long beep, followed by permanent beep)
Second push >>Mode deactivated (three beeps)

Camera (optional)
Video- and Photo recording
The model is equipped with a mount to attach a camera optionally. This can be mounted underneath
the battery cover.
Additionally, the camera has to be connected to the provided port on the model.
The camera can be released through the controller.
Battery care
To ensure a long battery life, please follow these steps:
- Never store the model in activated mode, make sure it is switched off.
- Only store with charged battery (min. 85% capacity)
- Disconnect the battery from the model
- Store at room temperature
- When not using, make sure the battery will be charged every 3 months
If these steps are not being followed, the battery might get damaged.
Rotor replacement
You can replace the rotors in a few steps.
Remove the cap which is located in the middle of the rotor arm and then turn out the screw by using
the supplied screw driver. Pull of the rotor from the axis.
Make sure that you are replacing the rotor by the correct one (follow the marks on the rotors).
