1. Préparation / Preparation
•Placez les boîtiers à proximité
des équipements à raccor-
der et déroulez la bobine
de câble entre les deux
boîtiers.
•Gardez à chaque extrémité
1 m de câble non collé an de faciliter le
raccordement des ls sur le boîtier.
•Position the connection units near the
equipment to be connected and unreel
the cable between the two units.
•Leave 1 m of cable free at each end
for easy connection of the wires to the
connection units.
4. Préparation du câble Ethernet
/ Preparing the Ethernet cable
•Coupez le câble à la longueur souhaitée
et le dégainer sur environ 4 cm à l’aide
du lin de déchirement disponible à l’in-
térieur du câble.
•Cut the cable to the required length and
strip the sheath over about 4 cm using
the rip cord inside the cable.
2.Pose du câble / Laying the
cable
•Posez le câble en goulotte/fourreau ou
par collage à l’aide d’une colle univer-
selle à prise rapide invisible pour intérieur
à chaud (T° maxi 220°C), ou à froid.
Le câble est souple et accompagne
facilement les angles du mur
ou le contour des portes.
•Lay the cable in trays/ducts or by bon-
ding using a hot-melt (max. 220 °C) or
cold-setting clear quick-setting all-pur-
pose indoor adhesive.
The cable is exible and easily routed around
wall corners and doorways.
3.Ouverture du boîtier /
Opening the connection unit
•Enlevez le capot du
boîtier de connexion en
exerçant une pression
avec le pouce sur
l’avant du capot supé-
rieur et soulevez celui-ci.
•Press the front of the top cover inward
and lift the cover to remove it.

5. Préparation des boîtiers de connexion / Preparing the connection units
•Retournez le boîtier et
réalisez une ouverture en
coupant la partie prédécou-
pée prévue pour l’arrivée du
câble. Passez le câble par
l’ouverture.
•Turn the unit on its side
and cut out the pre-cut
section provided to make
an opening for the cable.
Thread the cable through
the opening.
•Séparez les ls et lissez-les soigneuse-
ment avec les doigts. Rangez les ls dans
l’ordre suivant : Orange-Rouge-Violet-Vert-
Gris-Bleu-Marron-Blanc
•Separate the wires and straighten them
carefully with your ngers. Position the
wires in the following order: Orange-Red-
Purple-Green-Grey-Blue-Brown-White.
•Ouvrez le guide-l de couleur Marron/
Blanc. Insérez les ls de même couleur
dans les trous jusqu’à les faire dépasser
du guide-l puis refermez le guide-l.
•Open the wire guide marked with the
brown and white spots. Insert the brown
and white wires into their colour-coded
holes until they protrude from the wire
guide, then close the wire guide.
•Renouvelez l’opération avec les ls suivants
en veillant à bien respecter le code couleur
puis procédez à la connexion du 2eboîtier.
•Repeat the operation with the other wires,
taking care to comply with the colour
coding, then repeat the whole procedure to
connect the second unit.
6. Connexion des ls aux boîtiers / Connecting the wires to the units

Précautions d’utilisation / Precautions
•Ne pas exposer les éléments à l’extérieur d’un bâ-
timent.
•Ne pas exposer à l’eau ou à une humidité ex-
cessive.
•Ne pas exposer à une température inférieure à
0°C ou supérieure à +50°C.
•Interdiction de poser le câble en cohabitation
avec des câbles électriques. Possibilité de le
passer dans un fourreau vide ou en cohabitation
avec un câble d’antenne.
•Ne pas écraser ni endommager le câble et les
cordons
•Ne pas utiliser le câble et les cordons à d’autres
ns : produits destinés à transmettre uniquement
des signaux de communication de très faible
puissance
•Do not expose the components outdoors.
•Do not expose to water or to excessive humidity.
•Do not expose to a temperature below 0 °C or
above 50 °C.
•The cable must not be laid alongside electrical
cables. It can be run through a separate duct or
alongside a TV aerial cable.
•Do not crush or otherwise damage the cable or
the leads.
•Do not use the cable or the leads for other purpo-
ses: they are intended only for the transmission of
very low power communication signals.

7.Contrôle de la connexion / Checking the connection
•Branchez le premier cordon Ethernet Gigabit entre la box xDSL/bre et le boîtier de connexion,
•Puis le second entre l’ordinateur (ou décodeur TV, etc.) et le deuxième boîtier de connexion.
Éteindre le décodeur TV avant de raccorder le cordon Ethernet Gigabit.
•Vériez la connexion en afchant une page web (ordinateur) ou en consultant les chaînes TV
(décodeur TV).
Si la connexion a échoué : contrôlez le câblage de vos boîtiers de connexion ; dé-câblez et re-câblez vos boîtiers (voir 6)
•Connect the rst Gigabit Ethernet lead between the xDSL/bre box and the connection unit.
•Connect the second Gigabit Ethernet lead between the computer (or TV decoder, etc.) and
the second connection unit.
Switch the TV decoder off before connecting the Gigabit Ethernet cable.
•Check the connection by displaying a web page (computer) or browsing the TV channels
(TV decoder).
If there is no connection: check the wiring of your connection units; disconnect the wires then re-wire your units
(refer to 6).
8.Fixation des boîtiers / Fastening the connection units
•Une fois le contrôle de connexion réussi, xez vos 2 boîtiers à l’emplacement de votre choix
à l’aide des adhésifs double face. Votre installation est maintenant terminée.
•When the connection check is successful, fasten the two connection units where you want
them using the double-sided adhesive tape. You have now completed your installation.
