Instructions for use
Cable Types / Cable Management
ACS Monitors are fitted with different cable options. The
cable can exit over the top of the ear and round
the back of the head (fig 5), or from the lower
part of the ear like the cables fitted to most
conventional types of headphones and
earphones(fig 6). If your cables exit at the top
of the ear, the cable can be secured at the
back of the head by moving the slider fitted to
the cable in an upward direction (fig 7).
We want you to be delighted with your ACS in-ear
monitors. If, for any reason, you experience difficulties
or are not satisfied with your product or the service
you receive from us please let us know by calling our
customer services team on 01295 266665.

Care and Maintenance of your ACS In-Ear Monitors
It is important that you read these notes to ensure
longevity of your custom monitors. Cleaning
them regularly and paying close attention to their
maintenance is vital to ensure their continued
performance. We offer full cleaning and reconditioning
services for your monitors so please don’t hesitate to call if
your monitors need attention.
NEVER remove your monitors by pulling on the cable.
Cleaning and Storage
Use a moist cloth or sterile wipe to clean the silicone moulds and cables. Always
hold your cables by the plug, rather than the earpiece, to clean. DO NOT
immerse any part of the monitors in any liquid. If they get wet use the ACS Revivo
dehumidifier to remove any moisture. We recommend that your monitors
are cleaned and dried using the ACS Revivo dehumidifier on a regular
basis, including after every live performance. Be careful not to tangle
the cable and always store your monitors in their pouch or in the Revivo
when not in use.
Visually inspect the sound ports on each earpiece after use to
check that no wax, skin debris or dirt has
penetrated the tubes. Use the wax pick provided
to carefully remove any matter.
NOTE : The most common cause of monitor
failure is ingression of ear wax or sweat into
the sound tubes. This is easily prevented by
regular checks, cleaning and use of the dehumidifier.
Fitting
Your monitors have a different coloured ACS logo on each earpiece, the right ear-
piece being identified with a red logo and the left earpiece with a blue logo. From
a comfort and acoustic perspective, it is important that they are fitted correctly to
provide a good seal of the ear.
Begin by placing the tip of the monitor into your
ear canal (fig 1) whilst at the same time twisting
gently backwards (fig 2). It is sometimes easier to
use both hands when fitting the earpieces making
sure that the top part of the mould is located
under the flap of skin at the top of the ear (fig 3).
Gently press the mould until it feels located and
secure (fig 4). Use the comfort cream to help the
fitting initially and create a good seal if required.
Spread a small amount around the ear canal tip,
being careful to avoid the sound tubes.
