MobiFren Bluetooth earphone Features
MSTS™ Tuning Technology together with lossless
compression codec apt-X & AAC codec enables you to
enjoy premium Hi-Fi stereo sound.
With built-in DSP chip, it supplies optimal call quality
by noise reduction and echo cancellation.
You can use many kinds of useful functions like as
below, if you download MobiFren_SM from the store.
Caller ID TTS
If you press any button of the headset on incoming
call, the mobile phone reads you the caller's name
via phone speaker.
SMS/SNS message TTS ( Available with Android )
If there's new message of SMS, SNS or Line, it reads
you the message, together with beep.
Find mobile phone
If you can't remember well where you placed mobile
phone, it helps you to find out your mobile phone by
pressing headset button. Mobile phone will ring.
Anti Earphone loss
When the earphone is disconnected with mobile phone,
mobile phone alarms you with vibration or message.
Anti Mobile Phone loss
When the mobile phone and earphone is disconnected
during connection, earphone alarms its disconnection,
to prevent any possibility of your mobile phone loss.
You can stop alarm sound if you press any button of the
earphone.
Mobi Health
It counts steps, walking distance and measures calorie
consumption like as pedometer.
Hot call (Prompt call)
If you register one phone number in advance that you
call frequently, you can call easily by pressing headset
button for two times consecutively.
(For iPhone, it connects to call with Call button in mobile.)

Camera Remote control (Available with Android)
It enables to play as a remote control when you take a
picture. It's helpful when you take a self picture or
group picture.

You can connects to call by earphone after searching
recent call list.
Present time notice
By pressing headset button for 2 times consecutively, it
notices you the present time.

Incoming call alarm via earphone (Android only)
Alarm sound increases gradually via earphone if there's

First, attach ear cushion to earphone.
(Like as Fig. 1, assemble the ear cushion projected part to
meet ear body hole at bottom.)

Then, wear the earphone after
fixing ear cushion to the ear.
Attach the proper size of
ear pad to earphone.
Select the best fit ear pad size for you,
and it's comfortable to wear with
supporting ear cushion.

Attach/Detach holding ear foam and
foam tip holding together. Well assembled
If you handle excessive force for ear foam,
it will damage to the bonding area between ear foam and foam tip.

Caution : Be careful not to separate the earphone charging
contact from the cradle, not to damage the earphone.
Firmware upgrade
During charging with PC USB, press ( ) button and ( ) button
at the same time for a second, then, red LED blinks and turn off.

4. Getting started with your MobiFren
* Before you use MobiFren Bluetooth earphone, you
need to pair it with your mobile phone or Bluetooth
enabled device.
- On first purchasing, the earphone enters into pairing
mode automatically when the power is on.
And blue LED is continuously on.
(You need to pair with your mobile within 2 minutes.)
※ Entering into pairing mode with Bluetooth earphone
※ Pairing with mobile phone
1) Pairing on first purchasing
① Install "MobiFren_SM" from Google play store or App store.
② Press the first menu " Pair (Connect) headset ", then it goes
to Bluetooth setting.
③ Activate Bluetooth and search headset.
④
Select "GBH-S880" from the searched devices,
then it pairs.
※ Pairing will be more easy with MobiFren_SM application.
① Activate Bluetooth function in your mobile phone according
to phone manual and
search GBH-S880 and select,
then,
it shows "Pairing".
(Some mobile phones need pass key(PIN), then, enter 0000.)
②If pairing is successful, it shows that " Connected to phone
and media audio" and blue LED glitters for 5 times. Now, it's
ready to use.

① Deactivate the Bluetooth function of the connected
device if there's connected device.
② Press MFB( ) button for 4 seconds to turn off.
③ Press MFB( ) button for 2 seconds, then, the head
set turns on and enters into pairing mode.
※ Pairing with mobile phone
① Follow the pairing procedure of way 1 or way 2 on
first purchasing.
② If the pairing is successful, it shows that " Connected
to phone and media audio"and blue LED glitters for
5 times. Now, it's ready to use.
※ When the headset is power off, if you press MFB
( ) for 4 seconds, it goes to pairing mode.
※ Useful tip (3 ways to go Bluetooth setting)
① Menu button ▶ Setting ▶ Bluetooth on main screen
② Drag down the screen and press Bluetooth icon.
③ Run MobiFren_SM app. and select the menu " Pair
(Connect) headset"

2. Multi point setting
1) Setting Multi point
- Please pair Bluetooth earphone to the first device
according to the pairing process.
(Refer to pairing process.)
- Turn off Bluetooth earphone.
- Press MFB( ) button for around 4 seconds till blue
LED is continuously on.
- Please pair Bluetooth earphone to 2nd device acc
ording to pairing process.
- Then, turn off Bluetooth earphone and turn on again,
it will be connected 2 devices.
※ It's possible to pair up to 8 Bluetooth enabled
devices and can use 2 devices simultaneously.
2) To use multi point
- At the status of connecting two devices, press
MFB( ) to answer a call if there's incoming call.
- At the status of connecting two devices, press
MFB( ) to listen the music that was played lately.
※ During multi point status, please refer that App
related functions are not workable.
3. Call
1) Answering a call
- Press MFB( ) button to answer a call.
2) Ending a call
- Press MFB( ) button shortly to end a call.

3) Rejecting a call
- During an incoming call, press MFB( )button
for about 1 second.
4) Converting a call
- During call with mobile, press MFB( )button
to convert to headset
(To call with mobile again, use your mobile phone menu.)

5) Volume control
- With ( )/( ) button, you can control volume.
- During call, if you press ( )button for about
1 second, the microphone becomes mute.
- During mute, it will be released, if you press
( )button for about 1 second.
6) Microphone Mute
Press buttons in order and
press MFB( ) button.
Then, purple LED glitters and headset will be initialized.
Pair the headset again to use after factory reset.
4. Factory Reset
You can install firmware at our website, for improved
or added functions.
5. Firmware Upgrade
※ Firmware upgrade is available at www.mobifren.com
※ Do not disconnect the headset from PC during
firmware upgrading.
It may cause malfunction or damage to the headset.
※ After firmware upgrade, the headset becomes initialization
automatically.
During firmware upgrade, do not separate
earphone from the cradle.
It may cause out of order.
During charging in cradle, press ( ) and ( ) button
simultaneously for a second.
Then, red LED blinks and headset goes to firmware
upgrade mode.

- This feature allows you to put a call on hold during
conversation and answer a waiting call.
- Give the ( )a long press (press approximately 1 second)
to put an active call on hold and answer a waiting call.
- Give the ( ) a long press to switch between two calls
- Just press ( )shortly to end a call.

※ To enjoy the best audio quality, please set 70~80% from the max
volume in your device.
- On first purchasing, the volume sets in level 8 of all 15 levels.
(Please adjust with ( )/( ) button for volume. )

Play / Pause : Press MFB( ) button shortly
Stop : Give a MFB( ) button long press
Volume up : Press ( ) button shortly
Volume down : Press ( ) button shortly
Next song : Give a ( ) button long press
Previous song : Give a ( ) button long press
- While playing music, if you press ( ) button and( ) button at
the same time for 1 second, the Music Mode changes forward direction.
And, if you press ( ) button and ( ) button at the same time for
1 second, the Music Mode changes backward direction.
※ There are several kinds of bit rate even though it's the same MP3 file.
If the file source is higher bit rate(320K) for listening, you can feel the real worth
for our Bluetooth earphone. And, if the speaker is not good even with good source,
the sound quality will not be good, and if the speaker is good with inferior source,
the sound quality can't touch to the listener. The MobiFren earphone of
optimized tuning supplies you high quality sound, but, we also recommend
you to use high resolution source file (320K) to enjoy touching sound.
