This instruction manual will help you to safely and correctly use your
Talent 500 desk, while taking full advantage of all its features.
Anyone who uses the Talent 500 should read and apply all the steps
and instructions that appear in this manual. If the product is not used
correctly, the manufacturer shall not be responsible for any claims,
nor for any damages that are caused.
The product must be used in compliance with general safety
regulations and only in accordance with its intended use as a
mobile, folding, stackable and height-adjustable desk. If not used as
intended, damage to persons or property may be caused.
The desk is not suitable for outdoor use, it should
always be used indoors.
The desk can be used by children over 12 years old, by people with
reduced physical, mental or sensory abilities, as well as by people
with little experience and knowledge, provided they are under the
supervision of a qualified person or have been provided with the
necessary information on how to safely and correctly use the desk
in order to understand the possible dangers that may arise from its
misuse. Do NOT allow children to play with the desk.

Assembly Site Conditions
Generally speaking, the following measures will guarantee that the
furniture can be assembled in a comfortable and ergonomic way:
In the event that a malfunction occurs, such as a blocked elevation
lift, broken castor or any other type of irregularity, stop using the desk
and contact your Actiu distributor.
Straight desks:
• 69 x 69 cm: 230 x 270 cm
• 120 x 69 cm: 280 x 270 cm
• 138 x 69 cm: 290 x 270 cm
• 160 x 69 cm: 310 x 270 cm
• Room temperature between 5-30ºC
• Atmosphere without risk of explosion
• Do not assemble under a window
What to Do in the Event of a Malfunction
Avoid the risk of crushing people and objects:
• Do not place any object underneath or on top of the desk when
adjusting its height.
• Pay attention to other people who are close to the desk.

The desk incorporates a folding system for the work desk top, using a
system in the brackets that features a locking and unlocking position
for the mechanism. Unlocking this system allows the desk to be
folded 90º.
After folding the desks. The desks can be stacked, thus saving space.
The desks come with a protector on the legs for stacking.

Actuator Description
The Talent 500 desk has an actuator under the desk top that is easily
accessible, which allows the desk to be raised, unlocking the lift to
carry out the self-assisted movement.
The Talent 500 has a push button

be elevated using a gas lift.
By pushing this button, the height of
the desk will rise and upon releasing
it, the desk will be fixed at the
desired height.

button and press down slightly in
the centre of the desk top to lower it.

All edges of the desk top are surrounded by a shock absorbing
rubber to prevent any damage and thus improve its mobility.
The desk has castors so that you can move it around easily. The desk
comes with four black castors with a 65 mm diameter. Two castors
with a brake and two castors without a brake. To activate the castor’s
brake, just press down on the tab and the desk will be locked to
prevent it from moving.
The desk is equipped with soft castors (in a single colour) for hard
floors. If you change the floor surface, you should also change the
castors.

• Do not sit on the desk.
• Do not use the desk as a forklift.
• Do not move the desk with objects on the surface.
• Do not place objects on top of or underneath the desk when you
are adjusting the height.
• Careful, this is a folding desk and objects located on the desk top
can fall when the table is folded.
• You should lock the castors when carrying out the elevation and
folding movements.
• Make sure there is enough space that is free of objects in order
to guarantee the desk can be moved safely in a comfortable and
ergonomic way that won’t cause any damage.

Maximum weight
According to the UNE EN 15372 regulation, Talent 500 table can bear
a vertical load up to 100 kg. The aforesaid load should be exerted
on the column and centre of gravity of the table and always with
the wheels blocked. Talent 500 table is a mobile table, therefore it is
advisable not to move the table when there is load on top of it.
Maintenance Instructions
Care
The Talent 500 desk does not require any type of maintenance.
Clean off any dust and dirt from the surface periodically with a mild
cleaning product that has a neutral ph.
Laminated writable desk-top
Markers for writing: Dry erase markers are recommended to leng-
then the desk’s top useful life.
Cleaning the desk-top: Clean with a soft dry cloth or a specific eraser
for this kind of surfaces. In the event that the stain remains, clean
with a soft cloth drench with ethyl alcohol, then dry clean with an
absorbing paper.
If the product is not used correctly, the manufacturer shall not be
liable for any claims.

Estas instrucciones de uso le ayudarán a utilizar su mesa Talent
500 correctamente, de forma segura y aprovechando toda su
funcionalidad.
Toda persona que haga uso de Talent 500 deberá leer y aplicar todos
los pasos e instrucciones que aparecen en este manual. En el caso de
no usar el producto correctamente, el fabricante no se hará cargo de
las reclamaciones, ni de los daños causados.
El producto debe utilizarse respetando las normas generales de
seguridad y únicamente en conformidad con su uso previsto como
mesa móvil, abatible, apilable y regulable de altura. Si no se utiliza
conforme a lo dispuesto, pueden producirse daños materiales o
personales.
La mesa no es apta para uso exterior, se debe de utilizar
siempre para uso interior.
La mesa puede ser utilizada por niños mayores de 12 años,
por personas con capacidades físicas, psíquicas o sensoriales
disminuidas, así como por personas con poca experiencia y
conocimiento, siempre y cuando estén bajo la supervisión de una
persona cualificada o se les haya facilitado la información necesaria
sobre la utilización segura y adecuada de la mesa para entender los
posibles peligros que puedan derivarse de un mal uso. NO permita
que los niños jueguen con la mesa.

Condiciones del lugar de montaje
Las siguientes medidas garantizarán, en terminos generales, que
el desarrollo del montaje del mueble se pueda desarrollar de forma
cómoda y ergonómica:
En caso de que se presente un fallo de funcionamiento, como por
ejemplo, bloqueo de la bomba de elevación, rotura de las ruedas o
cualquier otro tipo de irregularidad, no vuelva a utilizar la mesa y
póngase en contacto con su distribuidor de Actiu.
Mesas rectas:
• 69 x 69 cm: 230 x 270 cm
• 120 x 69 cm: 280 x 270 cm
• 138 x 69 cm: 290 x 270 cm
• 160 x 69 cm: 310 x 270 cm
• Temperatura ambiente de entre 5 - 30º
• Atmósfera sin riesgo de explosión
• No realizar la instalación bajo ninguna ventana
Comportamiento ante un fallo de

Evite el riesgo de aplastamiento de personas y objetos:
• No sitúe ningún objeto debajo, ni encima de la mesa cuando
regule su altura.
• Preste atención a otras personas que estén cerca de la mesa.

La mesa lleva incorporado un sistema de abatibilidad de la superficie
de trabajo, mediante un sistema de ménsulas, con posición de
desbloqueo y de bloqueo del mecanismo. Desbloqueando este
sistema permite abatir la mesa 90º.
Después de abatir las mesas. Se puede apilar la mesa ahorrando
espacio. Las mesas disponen de un protector de apilamiento en los
pies.

Descripción del accionador
La mesa Talent 500 dispone de un accionador bajo el tablero, de
fácil acceso, que permite la elevación de la mesa, desbloqueando la
bomba para realizar el movimiento autoasistido.

Para bajar la mesa se tiene que
pulsar el pistón y hacer una
pequeña fuerza en el centro de la
mesa para poder bajarla.

Todos los cantos del tablero están rodeados con un canto de goma
amortiguante, para evitar desperfectos y mejorar así su movilidad.
La mesa dispone de ruedas para poder moverla con facilidad. La
mesa tiene cuatro ruedas negras de 65 mm de diámetro. Dos ruedas
con freno y dos ruedas sin freno. Para activar el freno de las ruedas
solo hay que pulsar la pestaña y la mesa quedará frenada para evitar
que se desplace.
La mesa está provista de ruedas blandas (de un solo color) para
suelos duros. Si se cambia el revestimiento del suelo, también se
deberán cambiar las ruedas.
