1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. With the vehicle on level ground and the
emergency brake set.
2. You will need the following tools:
a. 13MM Socket and Ratchet
b. 3/16 Allen Wrench
3. Hardware required:
a. 16 –13mm Factory Bolts will be re-used for the installation
4. Hardware provided:
a. 16 –5/16 x 18 Button Head Bolts
b. 16 –5/16 x 18 Nut Clips
c. 16 –5/16 Washers
** A.D.D. provides hardware in case there is no factory hardware available. You may use either set of
hardware to install your new side steps.
1. Remove factory Side Steps by removing the 16 –13mm bolts (8 per side). Keep the Bolts as they
will be reused. Use the A.D.D hardware if no factory side step hardware available.

2. Attach the Side Step back into the factory location, using the 8 –Bolts per side
3. Step back and enjoy your new A.D.D. Venom Side Steps.
4. Check, and re-tighten if needed, all mounting bolts after 100 miles and periodically thereafter.
