1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Carefully read the instructions provided before installing
and using the appliance. The manufacturer is not liable
for improper installation and use of the appliance
that may cause injuries and damage. Always keep the
instructions available for future reference.
1.1 Safety of children and vulnerable adults
•This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years
and above and persons with impaired physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, only if they are supervised or instructed
on how to use the appliance in a safe manner and
understand the hazards involved.
•Children should not play with the appliance.
•Keep packaging materials away from children.
•Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out
by children without supervision.
1.2 General safety warnings
•The appliance is intended for domestic use and similar
purposes, for example:
- in country houses, kitchens of shops, offices and
other work environments;
- by customers of hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts
and other residential environments.
•Use the appliance solely to store food.
•Check that the ventilation openings, both on the
appliance and in the recessed structure, are not
obstructed.
•Do not use mechanical devices or other artificial means
not recommended by the manufacturer in order to
accelerate the de-icing process.
•Do not damage the cooling circuit.
•Do not use electrical appliances inside the food
storage components.

•Do not spray water or use steam to clean the
appliance.
•Clean the appliance with a damp and soft cloth. Only
use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products,
abrasive sponges, solvents or metal objects.
•Do not use this appliance to store explosive
substances such as aerosol cans containing flammable
propellant.
•If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, by an authorised technician or by a
qualified person to prevent dangerous situations.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Installation
CAUTION!
The appliance must be installed
by qualified personnel.
• Remove all the packaging material.
• Do not install or use the appliance if it
is damaged.
• Comply with the instructions supplied
with the appliance.
• Always be careful when moving the
appliance as it is very heavy. Always
wear safety gloves.
• Make sure that air can circulate freely
around the appliance.
• Wait at least 4 hours before
connecting the appliance to the
power supply. This is to allow the oil
to flow back into the compressor.
• Do not install the appliance near
radiators, stoves, ovens or hobs. The
rear surface of the appliance must rest
against the wall with a channel.
• Do not install the appliance where it is
exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not install this appliance in
excessively damp or cold places, such
as structural extensions, garages or
basements.
• To move the appliance, lift it from the
front, so as not to scratch the floor.
2.2 Electrical connection
CAUTION!
Risk of fire and electric shock.
• All the electrical connections must be
carried out by a qualified electrician.
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that all the electrical data
shown on the data plate correspond
to those of the system. Otherwise,
contact an electrician.
• Always use an electrical outlet with a
correctly installed protective contact.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters or
extension cables.
• Make sure not to damage the
electrical components (e.g. power
plug, power cord, compressor).
Contact the Service centre or an
electrician to replace the electrical
components.
• The power cord must remain below
the level of the power plug.
• Insert the power plug into the socket
only after installation is complete.
Make sure the power plug remains
accessible after installation.
• Do not pull the power cord to
disconnect the appliance. Always pull
from the plug.

2.3 Use
CAUTION!
Risk of fire and electric shock.
• Do not modify the specifications of
this appliance.
• Do not introduce electrical
equipment (e.g. ice-cream makers)
into the appliance unless specifically
permitted by the manufacturer.
• Be careful not to damage the cooling
circuit. It contains R404a mixture, a
non-flammable gas at a pressure of
one atmosphere.
• In the event of damage to the cooling
circuit, make sure that no open flames
and sparks are generated in the room.
Ventilate the environment thoroughly.
• Do not place very hot objects on the
plastic parts of the appliance.
• Do not store flammable gases and
liquids in the appliance.
• Do not place or keep flammable
liquids or materials, or easily
flammable objects, on top of, inside
or near the appliance.
• Do not touch the compressor or
condenser. They are very hot.
2.4 Maintenance and cleaning
CAUTION!
Risk of injury or damage to the
appliance.
• Before carrying out any maintenance
operation, turn the appliance off and
remove the plug from the socket.
• The appliance’s cooling unit contains
hydrocarbons. The unit must be
recharged and inspected by qualified
personnel only.
• Check the appliance’s drain regularly
and clean it if necessary. The
obstruction of the drain can cause a
water deposit.
2.5 Disposal
CAUTION!
Risk of injury or choking.
• Remove the plug from the power
supply.
• Cut the mains cable and dispose of it.
• Remove the door lock to prevent
children and pets from remaining
closed inside the appliance.
• The cooling circuit and the insulation
materials respect the ozone layer.
• The insulating foam contains
flammable gases.
• Contact the local authorities for
information on how to dispose of the
appliance properly.
• Do not damage the cooling unit
components located near the heat
exchanger.

The blast chiller derives from the
professional sector and is designed to
reduce the temperature (+ 3°C) and
freeze (-18°C) food.
Raw and cooked foods, processed this
way, keep their organoleptic qualities
unaltered, preserving their taste and
freshness.
At the end of each selected cycle, the
appliance automatically switches to the
holding phase, keeping the product at
the preset temperature for a maximum of
24 hours.

4.1 Control panel

1ON/OFF Turns the appliance on/off.
2Display Displays the actual appliance settings.
3Rotary knob
To adjust the settings and move within the menu.
Press to start the appliance.
Hold the rotary knob to activate the settings screen.
Hold and turn the rotary knob to move within the menu.
Hold and press the rotary knob to confirm a setting or access
the selected submenu.
To go back to the previous menu, find the Back option in the
menu list, or confirm a selected setting.

Symbol Function
Food sensor The display shows the use of the food sensor.
Duration The display shows the time required for the
cycle.
Cycle end The display shows the remaining time.
Timer To set the countdown.
This function has no effect on the operation of
the blast chiller.
Select and set the time. When the time ends,
the signal sounds. Press the rotary knob to stop
the signal.
The Reminder can also be used when the blast
chiller is switched off.

5. BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
CAUTION!
Refer to the chapters on safety.
5.1 Cleaning for the first time
Remove the accessories and the
removable shelf supports from the
appliance.
Refer to the “Cleaning and
maintenance” chapter.
5.2 First connection
After the first connection, the software
version is displayed for 7 seconds.
You will need to set the language,
Display Brightness and the Time.
6. DAILY USE
CAUTION!
It is recommended to use the
food sensor to optimise the
blast chiller operating times and
consumption.
Make sure that the food sensor is placed
in the centre of the food (see picture).
CAUTION!
Always close the connector cap
when the food sensor is not used
(see picture).

1. Press the ON/OFF button and insert
the food sensor.
2. Select the desired program and
confirm by pressing the knob.
4. The appliance will start the blast
chilling cycle until the set temperature
is reached.
At the end of the cycle, the appliance
will go into holding mode.

CAUTION!
Keep the door closed during each
blast chilling or freezing program.
If the door is not closed, the
program will not start and a
message will appear on the
screen asking you to close it. If the door
is opened during the blast chilling or
freezing cycle, the fan stops, followed by
the compressor (after about 1 minute).
If the door stays open for more than two
minutes, the program stops working.

6.4 End of use
CAUTION!
At the end of each use it is
recommended to carefully dry the
cavity to prevent condensation
water from stagnating and
generating unpleasant odours.
Keep the door open as illustrated
for at least 60 minutes after the
cavity has been dried.

7. HINTS AND TIPS
7.1 Sensor positioning
Always make sure that the tip of the food
sensor is placed in the middle of the
food (see picture).
7.2 Loading the machine
To ensure good machine performance
and not have any food alterations:
• arrange the products so as to
promote the circulation of cold air
throughout the cell;
• avoid prolonged and frequent door
opening.
7.3 Cavity temperature
Temperature uniformity is ensured by the
fins in the right hand shelf support.
CAUTION!
Make sure that food to be blast
chilled and/or frozen is not
overlapped and in any case does
not have a thickness greater
than 65 mm. Do not overload
the machine beyond what is
established by the manufacturer
(3 kg).

8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
8.1 Periodic cleaning
The appliance must be cleaned regularly.
Avoid pulling, moving or damaging
pipes and/or cables inside the appliance.
To clean the internal parts, do not use
detergents, abrasive powders, products
with strong fragrances or polishing waxes
as they may damage the surface and
leave an intense odour.
• Wash the internal surfaces with
a solution of warm water and
bicarbonate. Use 2 tablespoons of
bicarbonate for one litre of water.
• Wash the shelves with a neutral
detergent.
• Wring out excess water from the
sponge or cloth before cleaning
near the controls or any electrical
component.
• Wash the inside and the accessories
with warm water and neutral soap.
• Inspect the door gaskets regularly and
remove any traces of dirt and residues
with a damp cloth.
• Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Be careful not to damage the cooling
system.
After cleaning, reconnect the appliance
to the mains.
8.2 Periods of inactivity
If the appliance is not used for a long
time, take the following precautions:
• disconnect the appliance from the
mains;
• remove all the accessories;
• clean the appliance and all the
accessories;
• leave the door open to prevent the
formation of unpleasant odours.
9. TROUBLESHOOTING

1. INFORMATIONS POUR LA SÉCURITÉ
Lire attentivement les instructions fournies avant
d'installer et d’utiliser l'appareil. Le Fabricant n'est
pas responsable si une installation et une utilisation
incorrectes de l'appareil provoquent des blessures et
des dommages. Il faut toujours garder les instructions à
portée de main qui servent de référence pour le futur.
1.1 Sécurité des enfants et des personnes
vulnérables
•Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants d’au
moins 8 ans et par des adultes ayant des capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales limitées ou ayant
peu d’expérience ou de connaissances sur l'utilisation
de l'appareil, à condition qu’ils soient surveillés ou
instruits quant à l'utilisation de l'appareil et qu’ils aient
compris les risques liés à cette utilisation.
•Ne pas permettre aux enfants de jouer avec l'appareil.
•Conserver les emballages hors de portée des enfants.
•Le nettoyage et les interventions d'entretien ne
doivent pas être effectués par des enfants sans
supervision.
1.2 Mises en garde de sécurité générales
•L'appareil est destiné à un usage domestique et à des
usages similaires, par exemple :
- dans les maisons de campagne, cuisines de
magasins, bureaux et autres milieux de travail ;
- par des clients d'hôtel, motels, chambres d’hôtes et

•Utiliser l'appareil exclusivement pour conserver des
aliments.
•Vérifier que les ouvertures de ventilation, aussi bien sur
l'appareil que dans la structure encastrable, ne soient
pas bouchées.
•Ne pas utiliser de dispositifs mécaniques ou d’autres
moyens artificiels non recommandés par le Fabricant
afin d’accélérer le processus de dégivrage.

•Ne pas endommager le circuit réfrigérant.
•Ne pas utiliser d'appareils électriques à l'intérieur des
composants de conservation des aliments.
•Ne pas pulvériser d’eau ni utiliser de vapeur pour

•Nettoyer l'appareil avec un chiffon humide et doux.
N’utiliser que des détergents neutres. Ne pas utiliser
de produits abrasifs, d’éponges à récurer, de solvants
ni d’objets métalliques.
•Ne pas conserver dans cet appareil de substances
explosives comme des sprays contenant un propergol
inflammable.
•Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le Fabricant, par un technicien autorisé
ou par une personne qualifiée pour éviter toute
situation dangereuse.
2. INSTRUCTIONS POUR LA SÉCURITÉ
2.1 Installation
ATTENTION !
L'installation de l'appareil doit
être effectuée par un personnel
qualifié.
• Ôter tous les emballages.
• Ne pas installer ni utiliser l'appareil s’il
est endommagé.
• Se conformer aux instructions fournies
avec l'appareil.
• Il faut toujours faire attention en
phase de déplacement de l'appareil
vu qu’il est très lourd. Il faut toujours
porter des gants de sécurité.
• Veiller à ce que l'air puisse circuler
librement autour de l'appareil.
• Attendre au moins 4 heures avant
de bancher l'appareil. Cela permet
à l’huile de couler à nouveau dans le
compresseur.
• Ne pas installer l'appareil à proximité
de radiateurs, de réchauds, de fours
ou tables de cuisson. La surface
arrière de l'appareil doit être posée
contre le mur avec un tuyau.
• Ne pas installer l'appareil s’il est
exposé à la lumière directe du soleil.
• Ne pas installer cet appareil dans
des endroits trop humides ou froids
comme des extensions de bâtiment,
des garages ou des caves.
• Pour déplacer l'appareil, il faut le
soulever par le bord avant, afin de ne
pas griffer le revêtement de sol.
2.2 Branchement électrique
ATTENTION !
Risque d'incendie et de décharge
électrique.
• Tous les branchements électriques
doivent être réalisés par un électricien
qualifié.
• L'appareil doit disposer d'une mise à
la terre.
• Vérifier que les données électriques
reportées sur la plaque des
données correspondent à celles de
l'installation. Dans le cas contraire,
contacter un électricien.
• Utiliser toujours une prise électrique
dotée d’un contact de protection
correctement installée.
• Ne pas utiliser de prises multiples ni
de rallonges.

• S’assurer de ne pas endommager
les composants électriques (fiche
d'alimentation, câble d'alimentation,
compresseur). Contacter le Centre
d'assistance ou un électricien pour
remplacer les composants électriques.
• Le câble d'alimentation doit
rester sous le niveau de la fiche
d'alimentation.
• N’insérer la fiche d'alimentation dans
la prise qu’à la fin de l'installation.
Vérifier que la prise d'alimentation
reste accessible après l'installation.
• Ne pas tirer le câble d'alimentation
pour débrancher l'appareil. Il faut
toujours tirer la fiche.
2.3 Utilisation
ATTENTION !
Risque d'incendie et de décharge
électrique.
• Ne pas apporter de modifications aux
caractéristiques de cet appareil.
• Ne pas introduire d'appareils
électriques (par ex. sorbetières) dans
l'appareil sauf autorisation spécifique
du Fabricant.
• Faire attention à ne pas endommager
le circuit réfrigérant. Il contient
du mélange R404a, un gaz non
inflammable à la pression d’une
atmosphère.
• En cas de dommage au circuit
réfrigérant, veiller à ce qu’aucune
flamme nue ou étincelle ne se
développe dans le local. Bien aérer
l'environnement.
• Ne pas poser d'objets incandescents
sur les parties en plastique de
l'appareil.
• Ne pas conserver de gaz ni de
liquides inflammables dans l'appareil.
• Ne pas poser ni laisser de liquides
ou de matériaux inflammables, ou
d’objets facilement inflammables sur
l'appareil, à l’intérieur de celui-ci, ou à
proximité.
• Ne pas toucher le compresseur ni le
condenseur. Ils sont incandescents.
2.4 Entretien et nettoyage
ATTENTION !
Risque de blessures ou de
dommages à l'appareil.
• Avant d'effectuer toute intervention
d'entretien, éteindre l'appareil et
retirer la fiche de la prise.
• L'unité réfrigérante de l'appareil
contient des hydrocarbures. L'unité ne

La cellule de refroidissement rapide,
issue du secteur professionnel, est
destinée au refroidissement rapide
(+3 °C) et à la surgélation (-18 °C) des
aliments.
Les aliments crus et cuits, traités de
cette façon, conservent leurs qualités
organoleptiques inaltérées en préservant
le goût et la fraîcheur.
À la fin de chaque cycle sélectionné,
l'appareil passe automatiquement à la
phase de maintien, en conservant le
produit à la température pré-configurée
pendant un maximum de 24 heures.
