Motion Capture Plug
Status LED Explanation
Dimmed Green: The Motion Capture Plug is connected to your Access Point
Blinking Red: The Motion Capture Plug is configured but is not able to connect to the Access Point. Try
relocating it closer to your Access Point.
Blinking Blue: The Motion Capture Plug is ready to be configured. Proceed to the Pairing with your
Home Access Point section.
Blinking Green: The WPS Button has been pressed and the Motion Capture Plug is searching for a WPS
Access Point.
Solid White: The Motion Capture Plug is starting up.
Solid Purple: The Motion Capture Plug is starting up.
Solid Red: The Motion Capture Plug is performing an update. Do not disconnect it while the update is in
progress.

Pairing with your Home Access Point
Option ONE: Quick Setup Using the WPS Button
Power On
1. Plug your Motion Capture Plug into a power outlet near your Access Point.
2. Wait until the status LED is blinking blue.
If the Status LED is not blinking blue, refer to the Resetting your Motion Capture Plug section.
Connect
1. Press the WPS button on your access point and then press the WPS button on your Motion
Capture Plug within 2 minutes.
The status LED on the Motion Capture Plug will be blinking green while the WPS pairing process
is in progress.
2. The status LED on the Motion Capture Plug will turn dimmed green, indicating a successful
connection.
If the status LED is blinking blue, please use Option TWO.
Relocate
Follow the instructions in the WiFi Motion Detection App for to identify the optimal location for your
Motion Capture Plug.

Option TWO: Using your Web Browser
Power On
1. Plug your Motion Capture Plug into a power outlet near your Access Point.
2. Wait until the Status LED is blinking blue.
If the Status LED is not blinking blue, refer to the Resetting your Motion Capture Plug section.
Connect to the Motion Capture Plug
The Motion Capture Plug’s default WiFi network is Aerial-XXXXXX where XXXXXX are the last 6
characters of the MAC address on the label. The password is aerial123.
Using a mobile phone or computer connect to the WiFi network of the Motion Capture Plug.
Configure
1. Launch a web browser and enter http://192.168.1.200 in the address bar.
Enter user in the Username field, user in the Password field and click LOGIN.

2. Navigate to the list of available Access Points by clicking on the Wireless menu of the Config
section and then clicking on the Scan AP button.
3. Select your access point in the list, enter your WiFi password and click on the Connect button.
4. The status LED of the Motion Capture Plug will turn dimmed green, indicating a successful
connection.
If the status LED is blinking red, the passphrase used may be wrong. Please refer to the Resetting
your Motion Capture Plug section and start again.

Relocate
Follow the instructions in the App provided to identify the optimal location for your Motion Capture
Plug.
Resetting your Motion Capture Plug
To reset your Motion Capture Plug in order to connect to a different WiFi network, hold the WPS button
between 5 to 15 seconds. The device will restart, and the Status LED will be blinking blue once the
startup process is completed.
