Handle Switch & Variable Speed Control: The directional rocker switch mounted
on the tu handle has three (3) positions: forward, neutral and reverse. Twistin
the left rip forward will move the tu at the desired speed. Note: The switch is
always hot. For prolon ed battery life, disconnect the redpin when not in use for
extended periods of time.
Aircraft Loadin & Unloadin : By means of an U-fork attach in varies hei ht
postions the aircraft nose ear (or tailwheel) is attached to the APT4000. The
lockin is done by a metal rod , which oes in over center position. Bi

Practice Is Hi hly Recommended: Operatin your new APT4000 prior to hookin
it up to the aircraft is essential. Get familiar with the APT4000 by operatin it in
forward and reverse and at different speeds.
Then try movin the aircraft in an open area.
Do not attempt to park the aircraft in a ti ht space until you are thorou hly
familiar with the APT4000.
Always check for clearance around the entire aircraft prior to movin the aircraft.
Wheel Bearin s: Should receive li ht oil a few times annually.
Operatin Speed: The electric APT5000 is desi ned to operate at a slow walkin
pace for safety (max 7 Km/hr) .
OPERATION
The towbar units works and the principle that you need to press the wheels to
the round by pressin the handle. Otherwise it is impossible that the APT4000
of about 30 k (64 Lbs) can pull an aircraft of more than 1000 k . It is
important not to proceed fast initially, the aircraft has a certain inertia, so let the
airplane move first and then increase the speed by turnin the control handle.
The selector is to select forward or backwards, Left is forward, ri ht is
backwards.
By turnin the black handle, you select the speed of the unit. From 1 km/h up to
7 km/h.

Speed control , by turnin the handle speed is increasin Selector forward
and backwards.
THIS HANDEL IS FIXED TO CONTROL HANDLE BY 3mm key.
HINTS
1. KEEP CORRECT PRESSURE IN ALL TIRES FOR MAXIMUM OPERATION.
2. MOVE MAIN GEAR TIRES OVER RAILS AND DOOR TRACKS AT A SLIGHT ANGLE ONE,
MAKES TOWING EASIER
