All information in AGL TWISTER VT vertical auger feed mixer user manual has been prepared
up to date. Some of the values shown in the tables as a result of R&D studies may vary
according to the type, model or options depending on the products added.
This user manual is an absolute part for the machine. The operator and users are obliged to
read this manual carefully and follow all recommendations before starting to use the machine.
The information and advice provided in this manual ensure safe, error-free, long-life operation

This machine has been designed taking into account the mandatory standards, documents
and legal regulations in force.

1.1.2 VERTICAL AUGER FEED MIXER AXLE
INFORMATION / DATA CARD
The fixed data card on the axle is important for your machine.
INFORMATION
In case of possible spare parts request, this code indicated on the axle is required.
1.2 REGULAR USE
AGL Industries TWISTER VT vertical auger feed mixer is designed and manufactured
for feed mixing by means of reducers and augers suitable for feed mixing and
spreading. These vertical auger feed mixers are strictly unsuitable and prohibited for
transporting people and animals.
TWISTER VT model vertical auger feed mixer has been designed taking into account
the required standards.
The maximum cruising speed of your machine is limited by laws and technical
restrictions and is indicated on the labels of the machine. In addition, it is necessary to
comply with the limits set by the road traffic regulations in force according to the region
where the machine is used.
Unless otherwise stated, the maximum unloaded permissible speed of your machine
on residential areas and roads is indicated with a high speed sign on the rear of the
vehicle. The maximum loaded speed limit of your machine is indicated on the back of
the machine with the specified low speed label.
Please follow the rules for the health of yourself and those around you.
In addition, machine's commercial material user manuals (if any) provided with the
machine's user manual should be noticed. (Example: reducer, hydromotor, jack,
shaft)
In order to work safely with the machine, the matters described below are of
importance.
Read the machine user manual carefully and make sure you understand it,
consult the dealer or manufacturer regarding the unclear part(s).
Observe the regular maintenance rules given in the user manual.

Observe the warnings given on the safety labels.
Use with a tractor that provides the power required by your machine.
Strictly comply with the road regulations in the area where you use the
machine.
You should keep in mind that your maneuverability is reduced while the
machine is connected to the tractor with the shaft. If possible, detach the
cardan shaft from your machine before transportation.

1.4 TERMS OF WARRANTY
If the operating conditions given in the user manual of AGL Industries TWISTER
VT machines are observed, prolonged and safe operation of the machine is
guaranteed. The repairing period is specified as maximum 20 working days, but if the
delivery time of the externally supplied spare parts exceeds 20 working days, Technical
Service Team will inform you regarding the matter and necessary works will be carried
out to relieve your aggrievement.
The warranty period covers the 2-year warranty period stipulated by the Ministry of
Commerce.
Regardless of the warranty process, the machine components that are exposed to
wear subject to use and by nature are not included within the scope and period of
warranty.
In addition, errors and damages caused by user and operator errors on the machine
or accessories are excluded from the warranty.
Warranty services are valid for factory defects, mechanical errors and faulty
workmanship not caused by user errors.
Any interventions and modifications made by unauthorized and unapproved persons
and institutions not been trained by us, accessories and parts not supplied by us will
indefinitely void this warranty.
Information
The customer should request filling of the product delivery
report given in the annexes.
The warranty period starts from the date specified on the
delivery report
or invoicing date, whichever is earlier.
It is strictly forbidden to make modifications on the machine without the manufacturer's
permission. Welding, drilling, heating, etc. on the main lines of the machine, which directly
affects the operational safety of the machine are extremely dangerous and prohibited.
Intervention in the machine other than the authorized technical service specified by the
manufacturer will cause the warranty period to end.

1.5 TRANSPORTATION
The machine is presented for sale with all equipment installed. There is no packing
requirement for the machine. At the request of the user, the machine can be
transported independently by a tractor. Likewise, at the request of the user,
transportation can be made by means of crane or ramp transport vehicles.
Occupational safety rules must be strictly observed during loading on the crane and
unloading from the crane for delivery.
The designated lifting lugs on the machine must be strictly used for lifting the machine.
If the transport will be carried out by pulling, the speed limits specified on the machine
must be strictly observed.
IMPORTANT
When moving the machine on another vehicle, observe the
necessary road rules.

In case the transportation is made by the user,
the manual should be read thoroughly and carefully, and all
indicated information and rules must be observed.

2 SAFETY
2.1 SAFETY INFORMATION
2.1.1 BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the machine, user manual should be examined in detail. In
addition to the machine's user manual, the user manuals of the reducer
and other equipment should also be examined.
Operating without understanding all the using information regarding the
machine can create serious irreversible dangers for you and those
around you.
Warning labels on the machine must be taken into consideration.
Regarding the parts specified in the user manual which you have
difficulties to understand, you can get detailed information by contacting
the phone numbers given in the contact information section.
You must be aware of the risks that may occur in case you use the
machine wrongly, incorrectly and carelessly, and take precautions in
advance.
Against the risk of entanglement in rotating parts, tight clothes should be
worn when using the machine.
This machine is designed as a feed mixer and its misuse, for
transportation purposes, has serious risks (human or animal
transportation).
User is solely responsible for the errors, damages, unwanted accidents, etc.
that will occur after any modifications made without the approval of the
manufacturer.
It is dangerous and prohibited to enter into the machine without protective
equipment.
Feed mixer is designed to be used by one person.
When using the vehicle, make sure that there are no people and living
beings around the vehicle.
While the vehicle is in motion, there should be no living
beings nearby except the user.
Since the materials such as straw etc. are flammable, it is very dangerous to
be around the machine with flammable materials or cigarettes during the
operation of the machine.
2.1.2 SAFETY INFORMATION IN CASE
MACHINE IS CONNECTED TO THE
TRACTOR
In the cases where the feed mixer is operated with the tractor, make sure that
you use suitable connectors and that there are no leakages.
Make sure to use the appropriate tractor (in terms of HP/KW) according to the
power rating given in the machine's user manual.
Before using the machine, verify that the oil in the tractor's hydraulic system

will meet the requirements of the machine.
When connecting or disconnecting the hydraulic pipes and hoses, make sure
that the machine's hydraulic systems are not under pressure.
Before connecting the feed mixer to the tractor, make sure that there is no
problem in the mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic parts of the machine.
Standing between the tractor and the machine might have dangerous
consequences.
The jack connection must be moved to the upper position before the machine
starts moving.
Safety snap ring or cotter pin should be definitely attached to the tow bar pin
from below.
Sharp turns while the machine is attached to the tractor can have dangerous
consequences.
Always keep in mind that your maneuverability is reduced while the machine is
connected to the tractor.

2.1.3 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
SAFETY INFORMATION
While the machine is attached to the tractor, make sure that the machine is
under pressure on the hydraulic system.
Make sure there are no leakages on the hydraulic system.
Be sure to remove the hydraulic installation pipes of the tractor before
performing maintenance and repair on the machine.
Hydraulic hoses must be replaced within the recommended time regardless of
whether they are in good condition.
The hydraulic oil recommended by the manufacturer must be used.
Hydraulic oil should be changed as recommended.
After changing the hydraulic oil, the used oil should be disposed in a way that
prevents it from mixing to the nature.

2.1.4 LOADING AND UNLOADING
For your machine to have a prolonged life, it is very important that you
observe the recommendations of the manufacturer in the loading and
unloading conditions of AGL Industries TWISTER VT model feed mixers.
TWISTER VT model feed mixers should be loaded by means of the
loading bucket located at the back part; and for the big machines
without loading bucket, by means of the tractor front loaders.
It is extremely dangerous and prohibited for people or animals to get on
the feed mixer loading bucket.
Never intervene in the machine while the feed mixer is mixing the feed
in it homogeneously.
While loading the feed mixer, make sure that objects such as stone,
metal etc. do not go into the reservoir of the machine.
Do not intervene in the cover part or the conveyor part during the
unloading of the feed mixed in the feed mixer.
The loading bucket in the feed mixers should only be used for loading feed
into the machine.
Transportation should not be made with loading bucket.
2.1.5 CLEANING, MAINTENANCE and
ADJUSTMENT
Maintenance work on feed mixer can only be done by authorized and
experienced technical personnel when the machine is empty and not under
pressure (by the hydraulic pump).
In cases where the feed mixer is attached to the tractor, maintenance and
repair work can only be carried out under certain conditions.
o Engine of the tractor should be
turned off. o The ignition key should
not be left in position.
o The shaft should not be attached to the tractor's power take-off.
The tractor must be parked on a flat surface and tire chocks must be used.
Bolt and nut connections should be regularly checked.
Appropriate clothes should be worn during work, protective equipment
should be used.
It should be noted that using long clothes around rotating parts has
serious consequences.
In case of any malfunctions on the machine, do not use the machine
before the technical service intervenes and takes the case under control.
In case of intervention in the machine, it should be considered that welding
should not be made by connecting chassis to the body due to the electronic
parts.
Unauthorized persons who have not received the specific training for this
machine should not intervene.

Except for the technical service, welding etc. operations on the machine can
only be carried out by persons with appropriate authorizations and
qualifications, but interventions not carried out by the technical service
cause the product to be excluded from the scope of warranty.
Machine hydraulic installation should be checked regularly. There should
be no leakage in the fittings such as nipples etc.
Before starting repairs in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reduce the air
pressure for hydraulic, for oil and pneumaic 0 ad cleel ee
the flammables from the system.
The points that need to be lubricated regularly on the machine are shown
by means of labels, check the lubrication status regularly.
Since the errors in the drawbar can cause serious problems in motion,
replace the drawbar with a new one if it is deformed.
If your feed mixer has brakes, make sure that the brakes are working
properly, otherwise, contact technical service immediately and do not use
the machine again without intervening in the error.
In the event of injuries due to pressurized hydraulic oil, apply to the
nearest hospital immediately.
Direct contact of compressed air with your skin causes serious
injuries.
It is strictly forbidden to be on the vehicle's observation ladder while the
machine is moving, as this will cause serious injuries.
The reducer and oil tank oil level of vertical auger feed mixers should be
checked regularly.
The condition of the blades of the augers in vertical auger feed mixers
should be checked regularly. In case of deformation, you can order new
blades with the blade codes specified in the identification of the machine
chapter.
In the case of replacement of machine's auger blades, make sure that the
engine of the tractor is off, the tractor's contact key is removed and the
shaft is not attached to the tractor's power take-off.
Machine can be cleaned without entering the reservoir. Cleaning can be
done by means of a cleaning brush on the observation platform.
It is not recommended to be in the machine's reservoir for cleaning.
Since the materials such as straw etc. are flammable, it is very dangerous
to be around the machine with flammable materials or cigarettes during the
operation of the machine.

2.1.6 SAFE DRIVING
Special sensitivity is required during use of the machine on rough
and muddy terrains.
Sharp turning while the machine is attached to the tractor causes serious
problems.
It is important to observe the general road rules on public roads.
Never exceed the machine's speed limits, these limits are given on
labels on the machine.
You should not remove the reflectors on the machine. In case of
removal, place the warning triangle on the rear of the machine.
Never climb on the machine while the machine is moving with the
tractor attached.
Park the machine to a flat surface so that it is not affected by
environmental factors such as rain etc.
Depending on the machine dimensions, attention should be paid to blind
spots that may occur during maneuvering.
The water of the air tanks in the pneumatic system should be drained
periodically. Freezing of water can damage the pneumatic system.
When parking the machine, do not forget to put the trailer chocks in front of
tires of the machine.
2.1.7 SAFE USE AND
MAINTENANCE OF TIRES
When the machine is parked, chocks should be placed in front of the tires
to prevent the machine from moving.
Maintenance work on tires must only be carried out by authorized personnel.
From the initial use of vertical auger feed mixer, check the tightness of the
nuts of tires according to the operating condition under load, once in every
1000 km and once in every 6 months.
Avoid sharp maneuvers while the vertical auger feed mixer is loaded and
be careful when moving on rough terrain.
Pressure of the tires should be checked regularly.
After an intense working day, pressure of the tires and tightness of the
nuts should be checked.
Please note that the high temperatures that may occur in your region
can increase the tire pressure by 1 bar. Reduce pressure, load or speed
at high temperatures.

2.1.8 SAFE OPERATION OF THE POWER
TAKE-OFF
The person using the machine should have knowledge and experience on
how the tractor's power take-off works.
The machine should only be attached to the tractor with the shaft
connection supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
Make sure that there is plastic protection on the shaft.
Make sure that the shaft is correctly attached to the tractor's power take-off.
Machine's sharp turns while shaft is moving can cause serious
damage on the shaft.
Please note that being around the shaft with loose clothes can pose a
serious danger.
Never touch the moving shaft.
When using vertical auger feed mixer and tractor power take-off, do not
exceed the power take-off speed of 540 rpm. Do not overload the power
take-off and machine, and do not engage the clutch suddenly. Before starting
to operate the power take-off, make sure that the PTO rotation direction is
correct.
Chains that prevent the shaft cover from turning while the shaft is in
operation must be fixed to a stationary element of the machine.
There are marks on the body of the power take-off that indicate which
end of the shaft should be attached to the tractor, please pay attention to
those marks.
Detach the drive shaft each time when it is not necessary to drive the machine
or when the tractor and feed mixer are at an angle which is not appropriate for
both.
Do not use damaged power take-off, this may cause accidents. A damaged
shaft must be repaired or replaced.
2.1 INFORMATION and WARNING LABELS
Safety and warning labels used in vertical auger feed mixers are described in the
table given below. The user should take care that the information and warning
labels of the machine are legible throughout the period of use of the machine.
When you want to replace worn or damaged safety labels, you can request new
labels using the codes provided in the label table of AGL Industries TWISTER VT
user manual. You should not expose safety labels to chemicals that will damage
them.
