This manual contains important information regarding your Supera® unit. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to equipment set-up, operation and mainte-
nance. Failure to comply with regular maintenance guidelines outlined in this manual may void the warranty.

DESCRIPTION
This is a type of changing speed gear mixer, with its planetary stirring design. It has
a compact structure, is highly efficient and power saving, and is easy to operate. It
will be provided to you as an ideal assistant for bread and cake making.

INSTALLATION
Ensure the location of the Planetary Mixer is capable of supporting its weight.
ASSEMBLY
WARNING: The Planetary Mixer is very heavy, care must be taken when moving it.
WARNING: The bowl must be attached and raised into position prior to starting
the Planetary Mixer.
We accept no responsibility for any injury caused by incorrect assembly of this appliance.
Note: Ensure the feet are level to reduce vibration during operation.
Remove the appliance from all packaging.
Fitting/Removing the Bowl
1. Turn Off the appliance.
2. Open the safety guard by turning it to the
left (SMX10-1, SMX20-1, & SMX20-2) or
lifting it above the mixer (SMX30-1).
3. Lower the bowl with the bowl handle.
4. Release the locking catches either side of the
bowl.
5. Lift the bowl. The bowl is held in place by two
pins securing the handles to the cradle and a
hole at the back of the appliance which houses
the lug on the bowl lip.
6. Reverse the procedure to fit the bowl.
Note: Ensure the handle is fully pushed back
and the bowl is completely raised or the
mixer will not work.
Changing the Mixer Attachment
1. Turn Off the appliance.
2. Open the safety guard by turning it to the left (SMX10-1, SMX20-1, & SMX20-2) or lifting it
above the mixer (SMX30-1).
3. Lower the bowl with the bowl handle.
4. Push the mixer attachment up and to the left to release it.
5. Insert the desired attachment. Push up and to the right to lock it into place.
6. Raise the bowl.
Note: Regularly grease the bowl lift mechanism to ensure smooth operation.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. Standard power supply v/ HzAc. Plug in the unit into the proper outlet.
2. Set your unit to desired speed.
3. Install desired attachment. (Beater, Dough Hook, or Wire Whip)
4. Place bowl in proper place and check to make sure it is secure.
5. Raise the hand lever so that it in the highest position.
ACCESSORIES AND FUNCTIONS
1. Whisk: Light mixes, whipped cream, mayonnaise, egg whites,
pancakes and souffles. Recommended Speed: 1, 2, 3, Fast
2. Beater: Firm mixes, light pastry, cake/biscuit mix, icings, fillings, and
mashed vegetables. Recommended Speed: 1, 2, Medium
3. Spiral Dough Hook: Heavy mixes, dough, pie pastry, etc.
Recommended Speed: 1, Slow
NOTES
1. The power socket must be connected to a ground wire to guarantee optimal
operation. There is a strong risk of malfunction or shock if the mixer is not
grounded. The ground wire can never be connected to a gas pipe, water pipe,
lightning rod, or telephone line. After installation, have an electrician check for
electric leakage. If the power line is ever damaged, please consult a
professional electrician.
2. Don’t put your hand into the stirring barrel during operation. Power supply
should be disconnected before the mixer is going to be installed.
3. Don’t operate the mixer beyond the time limit. Doing so will reduce the life
of the unit.
4. The mixer should be mounted on a stable and clean place. Keep it away from
overheated or over-wet places and away from equipment which has strong
electromagnetic pull or can produce a strong electromagnetic pull.

6.Once the hand lever is raised, close the Safety Guard completely. If Safety Guard
is not closed the mixer will not function.
7.To turn the unit on, press the GREEN power button.
8.To turn the unit off, press the RED power button.
To change the desired speed, press the RED power button to turn the unit
off. Move the hand lever into the lowest position. Select new desired speed.
Raise hand lever back into highest position. Press GREEN power button to
turn the unit back on.
We recommend the following uses for each attachment:

5. Keep the machine clean constantly. Disconnect power supply before
maintenance. Clean it with a piece of soft and damp cloth. Don’t clean it with
liquid or spraying detergent.
MAINTENANCE
The transmission gear box is greased in a factory, for best practice we recommend
checking the grease every 6 months. To add or refill grease, open the top cover,
then fill grease from aperture or replace the grease directly.

Overload Switch
The Overload switch is situated at the
back of the machine beside the cable
entry. If the appliance becomes too
hot the Overload switch will stop the
machine automatically. If this
happens:
1. Turn Off the mixer.
2. Reduce the load in the mixing bowl.
3. Push the Overload switch back in to reset it.
4. Allow the appliance to cool for 20 minutes.
Note: In the event of a power cut the Overload switch will
cut in to prevent the appliance from restarting
automatically when power is restored.
Note: Always disconnect the Planetary Mixer from the mains
powers supply when not in use.

•Always turn off the mixer and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
• Use warm soapy water to clean the bowl and mixing attachments. Do not use abrasive
cleaning chemicals as these can leave behind harmful residues.
• Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
• Do not use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance.
• Clean the appliance regularly.

SUPERA PLANETARY MIXER EQUIPMENT MODELS:
Planetary Countertop Mixers: [SMX5-1, SMX7-1, SMX10-1, SMX20-1, SMX20-2]
Planetary Floor Mixers: [SMX30-1]
SUPERA, LLC warrants to the original purchaser of new equipment that said equipment, when installed in accordance with
our instructions within North America and subjected to normal use, is free from defects in material or workmanship for one
year. Warranty includes onsite service calls within 60 miles of an authorized service company. End user is responsible for
all extra travel and mileage at prevailing rates and for original call to Supera expressing need for warranty service. Any
service provided without authorization from Supera, LLC will not be covered by Supera, LLC.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. SUPERA, LLC
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SUPERA, LLC HAS FINAL DESCRETION ON ALL
WARRANTY REQUESTS.
SUPERA, LLC’S OBLIGATION AND LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO REPAIRING
AND REPLACING EQUIPMENT WHICH PROVES TO BE DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP WITHIN THE
APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD. All repairs pursuant to this Warranty will be performed by an Authorized Designated
SUPERA, LLC Service Location during normal working hours. This warranty does not cover services performed at
overtime or premium labor rates. End user is responsible for the difference between normal service rates and premium
service rates. This warranty does not cover any service technician errors. IN NO EVENT SHALL SUPERA, LLC BE
LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO BUYER OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING,
WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROPERTY, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS OR OTHER
ECONOMIC LOSSES, OR STATUTORY OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER IN NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY,
STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
This warranty is given only to the first purchaser from a retail dealer. No warranty is given to subsequent transferees.
Installation in a residential application will void all warranties.
Warranty does not cover product failures caused by: failure to maintain, neglect, abuse, damage due to excess water,
fire, normal wear, improper set up and use. Periodic maintenance is not covered. Warranty does not cover service
requests for free replacement and/or recall parts.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY PROVISIONS ARE A COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT BETWEEN THE
BUYER AND SELLER. SUPERA, LLC NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSONS TO ASSUME FOR IT
ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH SAID EQUIPMENT.
Example of items not covered under warranty, but not limited to only these items:
1. Acts of God, fire, water damage, burglary, accident, theft.
2. Freight damage.
3. Improper installation or alteration of equipment.
4. Use of generic or after market parts.
5. Repairs made by anyone other than a SUPERA, LLC designated servicer.
6. Lubrication.
7. Expendable wear parts, adjustable feet, blown fuses, lamps, etc.
8. Cleaning of equipment.
9. Misuse or abuse.
