Remote Control Repeater
Thank you for purchasing this Remote Control Repeater. We recommend that you read this manual thoroughly
and retain for future reference.
Function:
The Remote Control Repeater is a system that repeats the signal of your audio/video device remote control. You
can have your audio/video equipment in a closed closet and use this system to connect to the equipment, so you
may be able to use your remote control(S) outside of the closed space. This system has three parts. The IR
Receiver can be mounted in a central location and it receives the IR signal from your remote controls. The IR
Emitters connect to your audio/video device to receive the signal. The IR Distribution Block is the central point
that receives the IR signal from the IR Receiver and outputs it to the emitter.

This unit can be installed in an area with compact fluorescent lighting, and will Work in most
lighting environments

Blue IR LED confirms the signal is being transmitted

Wide Band IR receives infrared signal from many types of remotes

With the small size of the connecting block, you can mount it near audio equipment with nearly no
visibility

Connecting the Remote Control Repeater
Note: Careful consideration must be used when placing the IR Receiver near a Plasma Display.
Plasma Displays emit IR frequencies during use and may cause interference.
1. Take the Mini IR Receiver(up to three) and connect it to the IR Receiver input jacks labeled
1-3 on the IR Connecting Block.
2. Connect the emitters (up to six) to the emitter jacks labeled 1-6 on the IR Connecting Block.

3. Place the emitters on the source equipment.
4. Connect the 12VDC/ 5V USB Power Supply to the power jack on the IR Connecting Block
and plug the Power Supply in the wall outlet. The LED will illuminate with a red light letting
you know power is connected.
5. When the LED is green, it means that the power has been connected successfully
Note: when an IR signal is received, the IR confirmation red LED will flash.
