Selectaplacewherethemetercanbeinstalledhorizontally.
Installthemeteraslowaspossibleatthepiping,andselectaplacewhereairdoesnot
mixinorremaininthemeter.
Selectaplacewherewaterorsandanddirtdonotcomeincontact.Wheninstallingthe
meteroutdoor,provideapitandinstallthemeterinaplacewhererainwater,sandand
dirtdonotenter.
Selectaplacewhereinstallation,removal,meterreading,maintenance,andinspection
canbeeasilyperformed.
Aftertheinstallation,theindicatorportioncanberotatedby15degrees(270degrees
maximum)clockwisetoaneasilyreadposition.(Refertothefigurebelow.)

(4) Besuretoinstallthemeterhorizontallywithoutnotilttoeithersideandalignthearrow

(5) Provideastraightpipingarea,whichismorethan3timesaslongasthediameterup -
streamfromthemeter.Provideastraightpipingarea,whoselengthisgreaterthanor
equaltothelengthofthediameterdownstreamfromthemeter.
(6) Afterinstallingthemeter,besuretograduallyopenthevalvesinfrontofandbehindthe
meteruntilthevalvesarefullyopentodischargeanyairinsidethemeter.Ifairremains,
pulsationinthepipingmayadvancethepointerevenwhennotinuse.
(7) Providepipinginawaythatpipemassdoesnotapplytothemeter.
(8) Meterinstallationsizewhenpipingisthedimensionofthepackingthicknessonboth
sidesplusthemetersentirelength.
(9) Usetheprovidedpackingorpackinghavingthespecifieddimensions.
Notethefollowingmatterswhenoperating.
7.Whenoperating
(1) Supplywatersothatthemeterisfilledandwaterflowsfreely.
(2) Checkthattheindicatorfortheminimumunitscaleortherotationindicator(tell-taleindicator)
isworking.
(3) Watertemperaturerangeis0,1°to30°C.C
(4) Refertothevaluesinthetablebelowforthemeterworkflowrate.
