Ports 1-5At the rear site of the Switch, ports 1-5 are where you will
connectyourComputerstotheSwitch
Power At the left site of the Switch, the power port is where you
will connect the AC power adapter. Be sure to only use
theACpoweradapterthatcamewiththeSwitch.
The 5UTP/STP ports supportautomatic
MDI/MDIXcrossoverdetectionfunction
givestrue‘plugandplay’capability, with
theAuto-MDI function, you just need to
plug-inthenetworkcabletotheswitch
directlyandnoneedtocareiftheendnodeisNIC(NetworkInterface
Card)orswitchesandhubs.
ConnecttheSwitch’sACpoweradaptertotheSwitch’s
Power port. Plug the other end of the adapter into anAC
outlet.WhenconnectedtheACpoweradaptertothe
switch’sPowerportandACoutletwillimmediately
poweronthisSwitch.
WhentheSwitchinstallationwascompleted,checkontheLED
indicatorsforthestatus.
POWERThis indicator lights green when the switch isreceiving
power.
Link/ACT This indicator light green when the port is connected to a
station,iftheindicatorblinkingwillbetransmittingor
received dataon thenetwork.
