Install the Driver
Installation of the SDW11b Driver to the
Pocket PC using Microsoft Active Sync®
Note: Do not insert the SDW11b into the card slot of your PDA until the
Install Driver (Step 1) and Install Utility (Step 2) have been performed.

1. Please DO NOT remove the SD WLAN card while the PDA's power
is on.
2. To set the WEP/WPA encryption on Windows Mobile. On your
PocketPC, please choose Setup->Network Card. Then select your
network, enter the WEP/WPA encryption information. Please refer
to your PDA user's guide for details.

3. Click “YES” to continue the installation.
2. Connect your PDA to your computer and make sure Active-Sync®
has established for a connection between the two devices.
3. Insert the CD-ROM to your PC. The main screen will apeear, click
Install Driver to start driver installation. After driver installation is
complete, clik Install Utility to start utility installation.
4. Click “OK” to complete the driver installation.

LWhen using it on Window's Mobile 2003, it will show the error
message. Saying the driver is not designed for Windows Mobile
2003. Please ignore the message and continue with the installation.

Configuring IPC WLAN Utility
Status tab
SSID The current access point name (ESS ID)
Status The current connection status.
Type The current connection mode.
Channel The wireless radio channel currently used by the
card.
Tx Rate The current transmit rate. This can be 1 Mbps, 2
Mbps, 5.5 Mbps.
IP The IP address of the card.
MAC The MAC address of the card.
Signal Shows the signal strength of the received signal.
Quality Shows the signal quality of the received signal.

Tx Success The number of successfully transmitted
packets.
Tx Error The number of unsuccessfully transmitted
packets.
Tx Throughput (kbps) The actual instantaneous transmit rates, in
Kbps.
Rx Success The number of successfully reveived
packets.
Rx CRC Success The number of successfully reveived CRC
packets.
Rx CRC Error The number of unsuccessfully reveived
CRC packets.
Rx Throughput (kbps) The actual instantaneous receive rates, in
Kbps.
Reset Click to clear the previously settings.

Rescan Searches for all available networks.
Clicking on the button, the device will start
to rescan and list all available sites.
BSSID The MAC address for the Access Point or
station.
SSID The current access point name (ESS ID).
Mode The currently connected device mode.
WEP WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy)shows the
current WEP used in the AP. WEP can be
enabled or disabled.
CH The wireless radio channel currently used
by the card.

S/W Radio Select Off or On to turn off/on Radio
Frequency function.
Channel Select from the pull-down list, there are 13
channels in the list.
Power Saving Disable: Select to disable power saving
function.
Enable (Max): Select to enter power saving
mode instantly.
Enable (Fast): Select to enter power saving
mode later (Under the circumstances of not
receving/transitting packets, the system will
enter Power Saving mode in 10 seconds. )

1. Por favor NOT retire la tarjeta SD WLAN mientras el equipo PDA

2. Para configurar la opción de WEP/WPA en Windows Mobile en
tu PocketPC, por favor seleccione Setup->Network Card. Luego
seleccione Tu red ( your network); introduzca la informacion de
encriptación WEP/WPA. Para más detalles por favor referirse la
Guía de Usuario PDA.

Configurando el Utilitario IPC WLAN
Sección de Estado
SSID El nombre del access point en uso (ESS ID)
Status El estado de la conexión en curso.
Type El modo de la conexión en curso.
Channel El canal de radio utilizada por la tarjeta.
Tx Rate La velocidad de transmisión en curso. Puede ser 1
Mbps, 2 Mbps o 5.5 Mbps.
IP La Dirección IP de la tarjeta.
MAC La dirección MAC de la tarjeta.
Signal Muestra la intensidad de señal de recepción.
Quality Muestra la calidad de señal del recepción.

Radio Frecuencia.
Channel Selecciona de la lista a escoger uno de los 13
canales.
Power Saving Disable: Selecciona esta opción para deshabilitar
la función de ahorro de energía.

Ahorro de energía inmediatamente.
Enable (Fast): Selecciona para iniciar más tarde al

Installation des Treibers für den
SDW11b auf einem Pocket-PC unter

Sync®.
Anmerkung: Stecken Sie den SDW11b nicht in den Card-Slot Ihres
PDA bevor die Installation des Treibers (Schritt 1) und des Utilitys
(Schritt 2) durchgeführt worden ist.
1. Bitte entfernen Sie die SD WLAN Karte NICHT während der PDA
eingeschaltet ist!
2. Aktivieren der WEP/WPA Verschlüsselung unter Windows Mobile:
Im PocketPC Einstellungen -> Netzwerkkarte auswählen. Dort das
Netzwerk auswählen und die Verschlüsselungsdaten eingeben.
Weitere Details dazu finden Sie im Handbuch des PDA.

3. Klicken Sie nun auf “YES” um mit der Installation fortzufahren.
2. Verbinden Sie Ihren PDA mit Ihrem Computer und stellen Sie sicher,
dass Active-Sync® eine Verbindung zwischen den beiden Geräten
aufgebaut hat.
3. Legen Sie die CD-ROM in das Laufwerk ihres PCs. Um die
Treiberinstallation zu starten, klicken Sie bitte im nun erscheinenden
Fenster auf “Install Driver”.Nachdem die Installation beendet
wurde, starten Sie bitte die Installation des Utilitys durch einen Klick
auf “Install Utility”.
4. Klicken Sie auf “OK” um die Installation zu beenden.

Bei Benutzung unter Windows Mobile 2003 erscheint eine
Fehlermeldung, mit dem Hinweis der Treiber sei nicht für Windows
Mobile 2003 geeignet. Diese Meldung kann ignoriert und die
Installation fortgesetzt werden.
