STEP 3: MEASURE CURRENT
A. Put ORANGE Motor Cable through the hoop by pressing on hoop
release
B. While observing the ammeter, run the DART Actuator by
pressing the rocker switch
•If landing gear is in the UP POSITION, press the switch down to
lower the landing gear
•If landing gear is in the DOWN POSITION, press the switch up to
raise the landing gear
•Repeat this for the opposite direction as well.

STEP 3: MEASURE CURRENT
C. Observe sustained current for both directions
•If observed current is > 18 Amps for more than 3 seconds in either
direction
•Inspect the landing gear legs for excess binding and consider
replacement of landing gear legs then retest per 1300-030
(Troubleshoot Guide).
•If observed current is < 18 Amps and > 7 Amps during both
directions
•Verify cross bolts and cross shaft to actuator bolts are in place (see
installation manual for reference)
•If bolts are in place and unit is still not operating, check 1300-029 (Air
check)
•If steps from 1300-029 have already been completed and the issue is
still present, contact your reseller for DART replacement.
•If observed current is < 7 Amps
•Inspect and confirm electrical connections between actuator and
enclosure for discontinuity
•If connections are intact and motor is NOT operating, replace
motor with kit (P/N K1100-365)
•If connections are not intact, repair electrical connections and
retest per 1300-030 (Troubleshoot Guide).
