Opening Box and Preparing Android Device
1. Remove the U250 from the box.
2. There are only 4 (four) connections to make:
a. Connect the RJ45 (supplied LAN cable) to #6 on the back of the U250 and the
other end of cable to your Wireless Router.
b. Connect your RJ11 (supplied phone cord) to #8 on the back of the U250 and plug the
other end into your existing Landline wall outlet or the back of your VoIP box.
c.

- Connect
an extension telephone to #9 on the back of the U250 (corded
or cordless telephone).
d. Connect the power adapter to
#7 on the back
of the U250 and to your
AC wall outlet. For proper operation, connect the power adapter last.

Download the OneSmartConnect App for Android
1. Download the OneSmartConnect (search as one word) App from the Google Play
Store.
The App should look similar to the picture below:

Pairing your Android to U250
1. On the U250 Base Unit, LED (#2) “TEL Line”should be solid (Not flashing) before
proceeding.
2. On your Android, turn on Wi-Fi. Make sure this is the same wireless network connected
to the U250.
3 . Enter the OneSmartConnect App by pressing the OneSmartConnect App Icon. The
following screen should appear:
4. Press and release the PAIR Button (#3) on the U250 Base Unit. The Power LED (#1) on the base
unit will flash.
5. On the OneSmartConnect App Screen, press “Pair”.
6. The Android display should say “Register”.
7. and then display the OneSmartConnect dial screen.

8. L o c a l Extension # (1-8) appears just below Registration. This indicates that the phone is ready
to use and shows this Android ext. #. (Note: In the event of a power outage or if you go outside
the Wi-Fi range, you do not need to re-pair your Android.)
9. Repeat steps 2-7 to pair up to 7 additional Androids.

Updating U-250 Firmware
1. Use the “More menu” (three vertical dots) on the dialer screen and select “Update device FW”.
2. Your mobile phone and u2-250 have to be on the same network
3. Select “Udate_20161214”
4. You will see the light on the U-250 cycle through the update. The update is complete when all
four lights are lit again.
5. Return to the dialer screen. The phone is ready for use.

Features
Make a Call Using Your Android
1. Access your OneSmartConnect App on your Android.
2. The dialer will appear. You can manually enter the phone number or press the Contacts Icon on the
bottom menu bar, to pick the desired contact.
3. Move the OSC/Tel Switch to send call by VOIP or landline
4. Press Green Phone icon to initiate the call.
Press CALL after dialing the number or picking a contact from your list.

End a Call on the Android
1. Press END on the Android to end the call.

Receiving a landline call on your Android
1. The landline extension phone(s) may ring first. All paired Androids will ring by the second ring.
2. The incoming call on the landline will create an alert on paired Androids. One of three screens will
appear. Slide or press to connect to the call.
3. If the Android has a security code turned on, then you will have to enter the code to answer the call.

Make a Quick Connect “Intercom” call
1. Press the “#”sign on the OSC app and select the Android extension you wish to connect with (1-8),
then press Green Phone icon. The phone that you are calling will ring.
2. Press the Green Phone icon on the Android being called and the two parties will be connected.
3. To end the call, press The Red Phone icon.

Transferring or Adding a second Caller
1. While on an existing call, Press the ADD sign on the OneSmartConnect App.
2. This will bring up the Call Options window, select your option
3. This will bring up the Dialer. Press “#” and the extension (1-8) you wish to reach and press
CALL.
4. To create a conference call, press the conference Call Button.
5. After dialing the second caller, push the two heads icon will connect the callers.

On Hold Notification
1. If you receive a cellular call during a landline call, you can choose to answer or reject the incoming call.
2. The landline call will hear a peep while on
3. After the cellular call is terminated, you will be given the choice to return to the landline call or
reject it. Tap the “on hold” to return to your OSC call
4. If you return to the call, the on hold party will hear a chime and you will be reconnected.
